Wow! I feel like I just finish a 2yr electrical class! Finally hands down the best description! Everyone else on TH-cam talks a lot and no information! They just say I run the wire like this and like that but doesn’t explain anything about bus, fuse, batteries! Thanks bro!

I just bought an 1987 Glasstream bass boat and the guy did a lot of new wiring and he did a nice job, in fact that same fuse box you showed us. Which I learned from your video to connect my fish finder, and some usb chargers, I definitely want to do this battery set up. Excellent video and well done, I am confident with your video I can do this, thank you again.

In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens th-cam.com/users/postUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

Great video , I just bought a project and I will most definitely be using this wiring format . You mentioned the fish finder shut down procedure , how long do they take to shut down safely ?
