- It's been a long time coming. Today I bring you the Best Team for Unova Remastered! The original team wasn't as messy as some of the earlier teams I've remastered already but it definitely could still use some fine tuning. So I did it.

Just finished another Black playthrough a month ago! Didn't appreciate the story the first time around so im glad I did.
I’m glad I was in high school when Gen 5 first occurred because if I was younger I might not have understood the story either
@@vaporterra it's not that I didn't understand. I just mash the button because I normally don't care about story in pokemon games. I'm the collector type so I just blaze through the story so I can catch'em all lol

If you look at competitive singles and doubles the shroom is one of the best even with Legendaries in the mix
I recently replayed Black and my team was:
Serperior, Scolipede, Chandelure, Zebstrika, Seismatoad, and Archeops. I know it isn’t a “great” team but I wanted to try to use mons that I haven’t really used too much.
Pretty cool team. I recently replayed through Black myself and this is what I used:

pro tip: use a swanna. it’s really good as it can dish out STAB surf and air slash + it can learn surf and fly. you won’t have to use a simipour and it frees up a slot for something like haxorus or gothitelle/reuniclus.

One thunderbolt or thunder it’s down
building B/W team is very tricky because you got not so many option for every starter you pick. it was quite frustrating but really fun at the same time because you have to experiment which one is the best for the team even until the late stage of the game. B2/W2 is more straightforward because a lot of great option are added.

Krookodile quickly entered my top 5 as soon as I saw him. Happy he stayed on the team
I’ve played through Unova many, many times. Some of favorite Pokémon for teams from Unova include Darmanitan, Krookodile, Reuniclus, Seismitoad, Cinccino, Sawk, Galvantula, Lilligant, Golurk, and all of the Starters.
I always wanted a Sawk. Could Never catch one, but I did get a Throh I named Chuck.
Man, when arceops threatens the dinosaur, he's fine, there's no real threats.
I think ferrothorn should get more love. It actually is decent in Unova for walling opponents. It puts in work at the dragon gym

You know, if you want some mor material, you can always do Monotype teams for Sword and Shield. There's ton of variety in those games, even without the DLC, that you can find every Pokémon type before the first gym. With some careful use of Wishing Pieces and luck you can find stuff like Corsola or Snom early even!
On my recent Black playthrough I did it with a team of Serperior, Stoutland, Seismitoad, Sawk, Sigilyph and Scolipede. A trully SSStylish team.
I used Eelektross in a play through and mine always seemed to get killed quickly since it has bad speed and defenses. Maybe mine just sucked in those departments but it was a turn off, so I prefer Galvantula for the electric type
DAMN, you postet this exactly when I ordered a copy of Black 2 to play it actually the First time! Nice one
This team is for BW2. Probably won’t work as well. Sequels have a much more diverse selection of Pokémon and a number of different battles.
If your looking for ideas, how about "best early game Pokemon for each game". There's always a least one Pokemon that you can catch before (or at the most right after) the first gym that makes for a great addition to any team. This can be either a full time member or a good HM slave for the first 6 generations.
the intimidate ability would work well with that moveset for krookodile. even though moxie is seen as preferred due to stat buffs on opponents fainting.

I just replayed through Pokémon White and this was an awesome surprise to see after defeating Ghetsis! My team for that run through was INCREDIBLY similar to this which is both weird and cool.
My team (and my favourite team of all time so far was):
Emboar
Simipour (first time using a monkey and was not disappointed)
Krookodile
Emolga (so much fun in the end)
Cincinno (also lots of fun but not the strongest)
Ferrothorn (was sawsbuck but I found a shiny ferroseed)
I agree with the Emolga sentiment. Little guy was peak.
Stoutland can take simipour’s spot. Surf, ice fang, strength, and a “whatever your flavor” move.

Id say typing and stats, its really slow, yea its bulky on its defense, and it has solid rock but still having a faster mixed attacker really helps

@@AUG_Glow Yeah true but you have to deal with 2 4x weaknesses. Besides, there isn't any rock ground types in the original unova dex.
@@gavinmoran8966 Simipour is available a lot earlier and provides immediate help against Burgh's Dwebble. I still don't really like Simipour all that much, because Samurott and Jellicent bring a lot more to the table and are easier to use in-game.
Nice team, I think I might use this team, it's really awesome to see simipour in this team, I really love using simipour, one of my 5 my top favorite unova pokemon :)

You don’t actually need to wait at level 44 for eelektrik to learn Thunderbolt because when you get surf you can go to nuvema town and on the first route you surf over to the island to find a water route and if you see a kinda big building you can find the tm for thunderbolt in the grass.
Or maybe just look it up...
That’s pretty much the team I ran with, didn’t like the water options so ended up trading in an Oshawott 😅

I like elektross. He's pretty cool. Only trouble is, he can't learn thunderbolt. You have to level up Elektrik BEFORE you use the thunderstone. Grinding TYNAMO for a SeCoNd time here I go!

When I was moving into E4, I went with this team: Stoutland, Ninetales, Butterfree, Machamp, Mismagus and a Vaporeon. With the setup I was running, I covered more elements than I needed to, but I regretted nothing. Was also a good setup for just about anything else.

I just beat this again. Really like going back to this one after a while. Inova has such unique and fun Pokemon in my opinion. My team was Samurott, Reuniclus,Archeops,Elektross,Darmanitan, and Mienshao. My first time using several of these Pokemon, was a blast.
My 1st play though of this game was with Emboar, Unfezant, Carracosta, Amoogus, Haxarus, and krookodile
For me, it would be something like:

Reuniclus (settle for Gothitelle if you don't have white)

I don't understand why Krookodile doesn't have Dragon Claw. It's available in Victory Road, has higher power than Dragon Tail and Aerial Ace, and doesn't have the negative priority that Dragon Tail does.
Well we don't need dragon coverage as much since we already have a pokemon with ice type moves to take care of those, and aerial ace has good coverage for krookodile against grass and bug types.

I agree, I prefer Dragon Claw over Dragon Tail any day! If I were to run a Krookodile in a black and white play through I’d use Dragon Tail up until I get Dragon Claw

I used krookodile on my x and y play through and IT WAS A BEAST. IT SMASHED THROUGH EVERTHING , ESPECIALLY CLEMONTS GYM. It knew Power Up Punch, Shadow Claw,Earthquake,and I think Dragon Claw

For some reason, I was hoping Lilligant would be the Grass type for that team.

ik it might not be the best but i like this. mienshao actually surprised me using him for the first time, i was just training him for the heck of it because i liked having a less commonly used mon like him and he was the one that made me win in the end
Why is mystic seeming so confident
He was so confident, I didn't check any facts. I took his word for everything. Turns out, Elektross can't learn thunderbolt. You have to level up Elektrik BEFORE you evolve it with the thunderstone. Now I'm having to grind TYNAMO for a second time. T^T

a word of advice from me-
I recommend using Leavanny instead of Amoonguss bescause Leavanny is a very awesome sweeper and versatile mon and Amoonguss is just a fat staller (sorry Amoonguss fans)
also, I would use Sigilyph in black/white 2 instead of 1 and use Archeops( I know it has defeatist and what is it but its still a good pokemon if you learn how to use it properly) it's awesome powerful mon! another reason for doing so is that good flying types aren't that common in unova (if we count only pokemon introduced in gen 5)

So I think this team is good. I used a lot of elements from this video and incorporated it into my team for a play through. I ended up with this
Emboar , Krookodile,Carracosta,Ferrothorn,Gothitelle and Dieno which I collected a majority of the rare candies obtained in the game to jump start him to Hydreigon
Just seeing this video now genuinely starting to think Sig and Krook are on every team now a days and amoongus is very underrated one of the better tanks up there with garbodor and crygonagal
Sigilyph is great but evryone needs to stop overlooking archeops as a flyer in unova
they would if its ability wasnt litterally the second worst ability of all of pokemon i love that thing but its trash still mad love to you for being a pokemon fan have a good day
You should definitely remaster BW2 next! Been looking for an excuse to replay through gen 5 again, it’s probably my second or third fav region after Alola and Johto
Something I recommend is to get a sandile with moxie and not intimidate its up to you but in my opinion moxie is a lot better (Edit) Another thing is that i used achetops and it worked well but one problem is it doesnt get fly until it evolves at Lvl 37 if you do want to use archetops give it acrobatics, rock slide/stone edge, fly, and dragon claw or earthquake
I got pretty lucky with that on my playthrough. I always go with catching the first one I see and the first one I stumbled upon when I was replaying the game in highschool just so happened to have it. I named him KILLERSAND lol
I just came back to that save files earlier this month and he helped a lot
Never played Black and White til now. My DSi was stolen in middle school and never got another one. I knew gen 5 was the best considering watching friends play and me seeing bits of playthroughs. Delta being released just sparked me to go and play em.

I wasn't aware of Sigilyph's power at the time, but I still picked some powerhouses
How the hell did you get a Zoroark in BW it's an event mon in those games and you can only get a Zorua in Driftveil from rood in BW2

The team is looking pretty balanced, but it's tough to know where these TM's are because I'm too lazy to look up where they are.
I saw your 4 years old video and made the team. Was playing on an emulator bc I don't own a Nintendo DS, beaten burgh got all my team members(not fully evolved) and I found out you made this video. Life is hard.

Nothing will ever compare to the pain of leveling a cofagrigus till it’s able to learn some effective kill moves
Try finding TYNAMO in charge cave (Rare encounter), and leveling it up to lvl 39 till it evolves into elektrik. Next you evolve it again with a thunderstone into elektross. Then you level up Elektross to lvl 44 to learn thunderbolt all before you face Skyla.
Only problem? Elektross doesn't learn Thunderbolt.
You have to level up Elektrik to level 44 to learn thunderbolt BEFORE you evolve it with a thunderstone. Now you're back to leveling up tynamo for the SECOND time. Mind you, Magikarp and Feebass have total base stats of 200. Tynamo isn't that much better with a total of 275.
