To those who are incapable of trading: Damn really? My condolences. For you Nidoking is best in Gen 1, Ampharos best in Gen 2. To those complaining I picked Nidoking despite overlapping with Venusaur, yet disqualified other Pokemon for overlapping types: As I said in the video, the Poison type does not matter for offense, so neither of these Pokemon really even need their Poison typing. It makes them share a weakness to Psychic, but that is the only drawback. Nidoking's VAST movepool more than makes up for that overlap, like how later in the video I talk about Mega Lucario's power making up for overlapping with Chesnaught. Venusaur and Nidoking are both Poison types but do very different things. Overlaps that aren't okay are ones where the Pokemon do the same things. Hariyama is a good Fighting type...and so is Blaziken. They fill the same role, so the typing overlap matters.
I feel as though the overlap doesn't really apply to Incineroar and Alolan Muk, though, since they share only a weakness to Ground, and the poison type offsets Alolan Muk's common ground with Incineroar.
@@demi-femme4821 True there's not much overlap defensively, but the Dark type offense matters more. They'd both be filling the role of Dark type offense, whereas with Venusaur and Nidoking, there's a very solid chance they don't even run Poison attacks since only three fully-evolved Pokemon in Gen 3 Kanto are weak to it.

A good replacement for Ampharos in Crystal is Electabuzz. Elekid is one of, if not, the best Baby Pokémom obtainable from the Odd Egg and can learn the three Elemental Punches, just like Alakazam. It also learns Psychic as an Electabuzz, so you can make it into a psuedo-Alakazam
@@FlyingHoovesEquestrian Pokemon White 2 (Challenge mode) conkeldurr or Lucario for playthrough (Want to use conkeldurr because never used one. lucario because he is strong)
For gen 6 I think recommend Aegislash because you can get it after the first gym and it's good against grant, korrina defensively, Ramos defensively, Valerie, Olympia and wulfriv and it's good against drasna defensively and destroys 4 of dianthas pokemon.
Plus, when you catch one, you can Super Train it right away, if you’re patient enough (my favorite feature from Generation 6). I suggest max HP for bulk, and then either max Special Defense (for more durability) or max Attack (for purely physical builds).
The only downside is the lack of dusk stones available in the game. Only way to get it before post game is by super training it to the max so you can potentially get a dusk stone from the secret training. Almost not worth it for kalos tbh
One that I absolutely love to use, especially in Nuzlockes, is Gyarados. Yes, it is a pain in the ass to level up. Yes, its typing is awkward in Gen 3 and before. On the other hand... it still has a solid enough physical moveset (that gets even better after the physical-special split, which allows it to use its STAB moves), which allows it to use its INSANE base stats. Plus, Intimidate is brilliant for managing any physical threats. But there's more: in the lategame, it learns Dragon Dance, which can make it basically no-diff some of the hardest battles in the games if given a chance to set up a sweep. Then there's the fact that, in Nuzlockes in particular, it is extremely easy to get it: just toss an old rod at the nearest pond in any city (or one of the ten million water routes in Hoenn, if you use Repel to save their encounters), and you get a free Magikarp. So, if you lose your Gyarados in battle, you can have multiple backups! I understand that it doesn't make the list because it's a Water-type, and that clashes with the starters. Still, if you don't start with a Water-type, Gyarados can easily break the game.
Not putting Gyarados in such a video buffles me. Magicarp is easy to catch so you can get the best nature easily. Easy to train since it needs only level 20. If you have exp share that is nothing. Only it is a little grindy if you want it at the start of the game. Stat wise it is a monster.
I'm backing up this comment. In my latest Platinum play, my Gyarados wiped the floor with Cynthia's entire team, using Dragon Dance. And it was only at level 52 at the time, which is about 10 levels lower than Cynthia's team. Gyarados is OP af.
I honest thought that Gardevoir deserved a mention in ORAS! fairy typing, better coverage and a mega made it amazing through the game and allowed it to dent through a lot of the important enemies, and access to Hypnosis let it give a huge support throughout the game
Gardevoir is great in OR/AS but the reason it wasn’t mentioned was because of Ralts’ very low encounter rate, so it’s hard to get unless if you pour a lot of time into it. Thankfully DexNav in those games allows you to easily track down Pokemon you have already caught.
@@staringcorgi6475 Less special attack than what? Manectric? Gardevoir's base special attack is 20 points higher, and it has higher defenses (both special and physical). It's a solid Pokemon and definitely deserved at least a mention.
MandJTV: “You can also find Plusle and Minun here, but dear GOD do not use them” Me, who had a minun named Liam on my final team: *laughs in too late now*
Same i actually used a plusle, i just really loved his design so i used him purely because i liked him, but he's not that terrible for a playthrough team tbh he has decent speed and special atk for in-game battles
For BW2 i feel like flygon is a very good pick as well. You get it pretty early as a Trapinch in the Desert Resort, which is pretty useful for Elesa. It is a bit weak, but once you evolve it, it becomes very strong against a lot of battles, like Clay, Drayden, and Iris. Its ability is very useful as well, especially if you have Emboar, Magnezone or Lucario.
Eelektross is also pretty useful in Gen 5. It has no weakness, decent stats, and a huge movepool. It might not be too easy to find, but it’s really a good Pokémon to use.
I would agree (mainly cos I love the eelektross line), but Tynamo is rare and comes pretty late, plus has a limited move pool before evolving into Eelektrik.
@@Amelia4111it works either way, since most people I see refer to Sword and Shield as one thing since they are technically the same game with some changes
9:40 another pokemon i highly recommend is gardevoir since it is pretty great it has high spe. atk and spe. def and a mediocre speed plus it gets acess to psychic a tm found only in VICTORY ROAD also ralts is in route 102 that's like the 3rd route you find plus it WILL destroy brawly
Idk if you made a typo, but Gardevoir's speed isn't mediocre. 80 Speed is quite decent. I always use Gardevoir in my Hoenn playthroughs, and most of the time it outspeeds opponents.
@@the_real_tabby because the monstrous abomination called Milktank exists, I dread every night remembering the battle with Whitney when i didn't have heracross.

Zero63X all right that was some strong arguments they are better than pidgeot in battles. But Pidgeot has a better look than them and I want a pretty team too :( I guess you prefer power over looks so you’re right 😂
I really want to mention Geodude for gen 2 and even HGSS. Strong against the first two gyms, resists everything Whitney's Miltank has to throw at it and is generally very strong. Admittedly it falls off a bit after that, but is still strong against Morty, Jasmine, Pryce and others. Especially if you can get Golem.
Alakazam: "I am an incredibly powerful Pokémon! My Special Attack and Speed stats are massive and my movepool is deeper than the Mariana Trench! You shall bow to Alakaz..." Foe: (uses Sucker Punch) Alakazam: "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Some emulators also allow you to link between roms like I do using MyBoy on my Android. I always have an Alakazam on my FireRed and LeafGreen teams doing that
I don't play on a pc, I play on an offline emulator that can't link games which is pathetic. I don't have enough money to buy a gba, gbc, gb or anything, even the Nintendo Switch. This is sad.
If you play on emulators, you can actually do trades because one version allows LAN connection and another one allows for multiple in the same computer. I should know.
4:30 Mikey: While switch-training it to evolve into a Kadabra is a bit annoying, once it evolves, you can make it an Alakazam immediately since it evolves by trading. Me, a person who doesn't live with anyone who plays video games: No, you can NEVER make it an Alakazam since it evolves by trading.
@@ZK16987 Not everybody has multiple DS and the multiple of the opposite or same Pokemon game cartages. Not everyone has all the money in the world. Grow up. And stop being a Kindergartner.
For the Alola region I would still pick Alolan Muk as a must as it is bulky, with minimize it can be extremely evasive, give it Black Sludge and it becomes a threat equal to Snorlax with Leftovers. It learns good moves such as minimize and poison fang early on. This means that even without a type advantage in most cases it can effectively poison, stall, heal itself and be a wall. I loved this video, great job!
Having a wall is not bad at all, for playthroughs most people prefer heavy hitters, so even if they had Alolan Muk they'll use it for offense not stalling, cause it's not competitive
@@Martin724K Enh, in the OG games... bad moves and unfortunate type balance is the only reason Muk wasn't a great pokemon. It had good enough stats. But in gen 1 poison sucks.
Scrafty needs more gen 5 love, he has AN AMAZING TYPE late game. So team Plasma grunts are majority dark type (some poison), the shadow triad (and it’s 4x effective against his bisharp), absolutely destroys Colress, and can ohko ghetsis’s hydreigon with a hi jump kick, and is strong against 3 OF 4 ELITE FOUR MEMBERS.
To be fair gardevoir is not as good as you might think since ralts dies to any physical attack and while abra also dies to any physical attack alakazam has much higher special attack and speed however gardevoir has mediocre speed and lack luster defenses so in conclusion gardevoir is just a weaker version of alakazam who isnt even that amazing in the Hoenn
Techpod 05 ok, you’re right that alakazam has higher special and speed, but Alakazams physical stats are very mediocre, while gardevoir can actually take a physical hit and it’s speed and defenses are definitely not mediocre as you said, just not as good as alakazam. I do agree with you that Alakazam is a lot better than gardevoir until it gets a mega evolution and it’s fairy typing in gen 6 tho.
The trick that worked for me- (In Black 2 you might be talking about a different game) -was to catch (and accidentally over-level) a Trapinch and teach it rock throw (I think that's what it was)

Michael: Manetric is a necessity in Hoenn because it's an electric type. Me: *doesn't have a single grass or electric type on my team and chose torchic Oh, sh*t.
Nidoking has found a niche, though: Being the pokemon who can get through Red and Blue the fastest. A different type of competitive pokemon, but still.
In my Y playthrough, as soon as I got access to Eevees and breeding, I got myself a team of Eeveelutions (Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon and Sylveon) and used those throughout the rest of the game. Fully EV-trained them and rose their friendship and affection to max before using stones and leveling up once (they all had Charm as well) to get a lvl 1 Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon, and a lvl 2 Umbreon, Espeon and Sylveon. Then I just boosted them in the grass until they were high lvl enough to continue where I left off. Espeon was a fricking beast with its high SP. ATK and having maxed it out. Sylveon was pretty good too. The three stones... meh. Umbreon was okay, but the two pink ones were BEASTS!
@@elscherix3099 Yeah, Sylveon wiped out the opposing Pokémon with Moonblast, freaking strong Fairy attack. For some reason I thought it would be fun/make sense to max out one stat of each Eeveelution, specifically the stat they are highest in. So I maxed out Espeon's SP. ATK, Flareon's ATK, Vaporeon's HP, Jolteon's Speed, Sylveon's SP. DEF and Umbreon's DEF (I know Umbreon's highest stat is SP. DEF, but I wanted Umbreon on my team rather than Leafeon, who for some reason has the highest DEF among the Eeveelutions). I realize now I was a complete fool XD I also have realized that's why Espeon and Sylveon were my best ones while Flareon was wasted with the ATK stat (why does the Fire type have the highest ATK stat, when it mainly uses SP attacks?!), and while Jolteon with max speed was probably good, Vaporeon with max HP and Umbreon with max DEF didn't do much for their combat expertise... Also, when I later at the end of the game checked their IVs, Sylveon was judged with the best IVs among my Eeveelution team. The others... were not so good. Espeon's might have been a bit better than the others' but Sylveon was my strongest. Next time I decide to do a playthrough with Eeveelutions, I must try to just raise their ATK/SP. ATK and Speed and see how much stronger they will be then. Shedinja made me realize that DEF, SP. DEF and HP don't really matter much. It's SP. ATK or ATK and Speed that really matter. I think it's weird that, since Shedinja only has 1 HP, that its DEF and SP. DEF are higher than 1. Like, they don't even work, the stat points are kinda wasted on defense. If they had just made HP, DEF and SP. DEF all 1 and put everything else into ATK and SP. ATK (and maybe Speed too), Shedinja could do so much better. Also, Shedinja is the most ideal Pokémon for catching Kyogre (in Alpha Sapphire anyway), since Kyogre can't hurt it, Struggle does nothing and prolly won't hurt Kyogre either, and Shedinja can learn False Swipe and Heal Block, which works well against Aqua Ring. I helped my brother train a Shedinja via trading so he could catch his Kyogre that way. And I just went from talking about Sylveon to talking about Shedinja in the same comment. XD
@@elscherix3099 XD I mean, it is kind of a cool Pokémon. When I was younger, I didn't know how to get a Shedinja. I even looked at Serebii.net, but I didn't understand what they meant by "Free slot in party" or something. I dunno. Eventually though I found out and I got one easily. It's kind of fun that you get 2 Pokémon by evolving 1. And that the Shedinja even has the same IVs and is even Shiny if the Nincada was! (I think, at least...) I also began to see Shedinja in a different light after playing Undertale. Shedinja is basically Sans. XD (Which would make Papyrus a Ninjask? Hm...) I also mainly used a Ninjask in Alpha Sapphire instead of my starter. The fastest Pokémon in the game (without form changing) is pretty cool to fight with. I've been considering breeding the Pokémon with some of the highest respective stats in the game, such as Rampardos for attack (or Ninjask for speed) and then try to get best IVs in that specific stat, and then max the EV of the stat to see how powerful the Pokémon would get. Though that would probably be a bit too much effort on my part, and I don't think I have enough time to do that XD
One thing to note about Nidoking in gen 3, a lot of its best TMs come from the game corner, which you can easily buy after just a little money grinding with the amulet coin and VS seeker.
I took your advice on using Toucannon and it really paid off! I was leveling up on route 5 and came across a shiny Pikipek, (wasn’t even hunting at the time, just needed to level up since I was way too low level for the next totem) I added it to my team and nicknamed it Petree, it’s been a mainstay on my team ever since and I’m just about to go into the elite 4 with it (for those that may ask, it’s a legitimate cartridge that I’m playing on so I found it at base odds; way too early in the game to get shiny charm)
I used to not understand the big issue speaking I always had two 3ds sadly one broke and I understand the struggle is real especially if you planned on completing the pokedex
So this may be a weird choice, but my Ribombee freaking SWEPT through USUM. I love fairy types and knew I wanted one, but I honestly wasn't expecting Ribombee to be that team member. Even if it didn't have effective damage against something, it''s super fast and knew stun spore so it made for an easy paralyze switch :)
I will say you should NOT pick Incineroar so you can use Alolan Muk. Alolan Muk and Mudsdale can wall that entire region with no problem. Use another wall, like Magnezone who is better than Vikavolt, and you are set.
@superyoshi_1889 I used Decidueye in Sun. I was extremely proud of the nickname of Legolas. I picked Primarina in Ultra Sun as my sister gave me a Litten to use as a fire type, as none of the others called to me. Alolan Marowak did but I didn't want to double up on Ghost type.
@pokemondude04 your are a good man! Out of curiosity what is the rest of your team? I used Primarina, Alolan Muk, Mudsdale, Magnezone, Totem Marowak, and Hawlucha
@@seanwilliams823 Thanks, I can see you have good taste as well! Funny thing is I didn't plan on using Alolan Muk initially either but I just loved it's new design so much I just had to have it on my team. He turned out to be the MVP against Ultra Necrozma.
Since you watched Smallant1’s Pokémon Platinum no damage run, watch Gamechamp3000’s Pokémon Red with no damage, as it is more insane as if he took damage at all, he goes back to the start. It is hugely insane.

Fun fact: you can get a Speerow in soulsilver/hg as early as you have access to pokeballs, since theres a grasspatch after going through the gate north of route 29 to route 46, you can also get there a geodude between the lvls of 2-4, that is if you don´t want to wait untill after bugsy
“You can evolve him immediately because he evolves by trade” Ok I’ll just grab my game boy adapter cable and my friend during quarantine, be right back
So I just started replaying Heart gold today - mostly inspired by this video - but I have to point out that you skipped out on Golem for some reason. You can get Geodude before the first town, it's strong against all the three first gym leaders (like for real, Miltank can't really hurt it) and once you get graveler, you can just trade it. Also rock types stomps in Lance's entire team. And there really aren't any Dangerous water or grass type trainers until super late game
Not to mention, it's one of the few Pokemon that naturally learn Earthquake, so there's that. Also, in Gen 2, it destroys Morty because the Gastly line didn't have Levitate yet.
There are quite a few pokés that are amazing to use that just happen to overlap with a starter type. Would've been cool for a second video on this with those pokés, where you have stuff like Gyarados and cohorts.
Gardevoir can sweep the entire game w/ Psychic, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind, and Hypnosis. No need for an Electric type because Gardevoir can take advantage of Thunderbolt w/ Calm Mind and sweep Winona, Juan, and Wallace, which is something Manectric couldn't do because it can't set up.
14:53 which is surprising considering they are other decent flyers such as Hounchcrow Giscor Crowbat and Tougekiss but still none can give Staraptor a fly for it's money
Crobat is arguably better. Higher base stat total, is EXTREMELY fast, hits pretty hard, not as frail as Staraptor is, and doesn’t take neutral damage to fighting cuz it isn’t normal flying type. Plus the extra poison STAB is much more useful than normal.
It bothers a lot of people actually. Seen the comments on the vid where he reacts to the WR pokemon red speed run? And yes, it's x accuracy, you're not wrong.
because x in math can be used to multiply things like: 2 times 2 is the same as 2 x 2, so he is not reading x like the letter but like the symbol in math.
@@aiezar 'x' is still used in cases like 100x magnification (read 'one hundred times magnification'); nobody writes 100* magnification. I assume it's this sort of usage that Michael is basing his pronunciation off of.

8:06 Something i find rather curious about the elemental punches is, that they're stronger than the elemental fangs, (Fire Punch power: 75, Fire Fang power: 65 and so forth). I think the elemental fangs should be, not only stronger than the elemental punches, but stronger in general, since the jaw musle is one of the strongest musles in the human body. I don't see why it should be any diferent on Pokemon, i mean, getting bitten is going to cause way more damage to you than getting punched, most of the time anyways.
Michael: "Honestly, you shouldn't have picked Chestnaught anyway." Me, who has done Chestnaught "solo" X and Y Playthroughs: "You can't tell me what to do." Seriously, my only problem in the games was Hawlucha because it was so fast. Also the TM being unlimited use combined with Chesnaught's pretty decent movepool made pretty quick work on a number of the major battles. Edit: Also going to point out that Cha the Hawlucha is either Adamant/Jolly Nature with 31 IV in Attack iirc. Making it insanely strong
I just recently played pokemon x for the first time and I thought he was okay but I only kept him in my team bc he was decently over lvled and I was too lazy to lvl my other pokemon tbh
You get Poison Jab in the Pokemon Center of Shalour City, right before Ramos. Mega Lucario would, after 1 Swords Dance(you can set that up on his Weepinbell), be guaranteed to one-hit KO Ramos' Gogoat with Poison Jab, plus, Lucario would still be able to KO Ramos' Gogoat even if it doesn't KO with Poison Jab, since Lucario will actually survive a Bulldoze from Gogoat, even with a Hasty nature, which lowers Defense.
Cintrón Productions With high special attack and speed, it makes for a sort of glass cannon type Pokemon (if you’re like me an put all your EVs in special attack and speed)
I personally think Manetric needs more love. All this stuff I’m gonna say is in my opinion so don’t kill me- Manetric is one of the coolest Pokémon out there. I think this is a great video idea, but it’d be super nice if you also recommended NEW Pokémon from each generation, as that’s what a lot of long time fans want to use on their first play through of a new region. And I think it would be a lot more helpful than a video like this where most people already know most of this information. :)
5:20 Normal is just as good in Gen 1 due to Fighting Types being pretty much invalid in Gen 1 because of there being few decent Fighting Types and Psychic Types *existing,* and Normal is also immune to Ghost, and to make up for Normal Types generally not having as high Special Stats, Normal is generally bulkier and has higher Physical Attack, and Psychic Types have pretty bad Physical Defense, so Normal generally counters Psychic Types, making it just as powerful in Gen 1
See, I would use Alakazam, but I don’t have another system for trading to evolve it, which is why I settled for Lapras (which can use Psychic). Edit: I don’t like using Pokémon like Kadabra and Machoke bc it pisses me off that I lack real world resources to evolve them.
it would be awesome to see a full walkthrough with a randomiser and in the nuzlocke format, but i think mikey would prefer to do maybe Alola bc he hasn't done Alola since Ultra Sun. i might be wrong tho :)
One pokemon which i think is really good for Alola is Ampharos. I used it on my ultra moon playthrough, and it was really useful. It had discharge, thunder punch, power gem, and cotton guard. what i would do is use cotton guard twice, and sweep everything. I called him "the living anti-aircraft cannon"
When you use Manectric in gen 6 hoenn That's close right? Also never used a fighting type in gen 5 black and white...It wasn't so bad. Shauntal still destroyed me. Huh lots of flying types
Zero63X Oh, that’s too bad. I happened to enjoy it. While it wasn’t the best Pokémon game out there, I preferred it over the all of the original games, like RS, RBY, GSC, SM, and DP. They are all good, I just feel SwSh is a bit more refined than the ones I mentioned.
OK thanks for information
I feel as though the overlap doesn't really apply to Incineroar and Alolan Muk, though, since they share only a weakness to Ground, and the poison type offsets Alolan Muk's common ground with Incineroar.
Okay

@trulytobi6464 you can get the dusk stone in terminus cave before the 8th gym

@@onursenduran961 And you get a free shiny one in HeartGold

Thankfully DexNav in those games allows you to easily track down Pokemon you have already caught.
yeah, gardevoir is pretty good in oras too
But gardwvoir has less special attack and it's slower
Gardevoir is great. I haven’t used one yet and the stats are good and good coverage. I have used Gallade in Alpha Sapphire and it was great.
@@staringcorgi6475 Less special attack than what? Manectric? Gardevoir's base special attack is 20 points higher, and it has higher defenses (both special and physical). It's a solid Pokemon and definitely deserved at least a mention.

Sylveon is a beast in Y. Good choice on that one
I realize now I was a complete fool XD
I also have realized that's why Espeon and Sylveon were my best ones while Flareon was wasted with the ATK stat (why does the Fire type have the highest ATK stat, when it mainly uses SP attacks?!), and while Jolteon with max speed was probably good, Vaporeon with max HP and Umbreon with max DEF didn't do much for their combat expertise...
XD
@@Rubywing4 it just shows how enthusiastic you are about Shedinja 😂
@@elscherix3099 XD I mean, it is kind of a cool Pokémon.
When I was younger, I didn't know how to get a Shedinja. I even looked at Serebii.net, but I didn't understand what they meant by "Free slot in party" or something. I dunno.
Eventually though I found out and I got one easily.
It's kind of fun that you get 2 Pokémon by evolving 1. And that the Shedinja even has the same IVs and is even Shiny if the Nincada was! (I think, at least...)
I also began to see Shedinja in a different light after playing Undertale. Shedinja is basically Sans. XD (Which would make Papyrus a Ninjask? Hm...)
I also mainly used a Ninjask in Alpha Sapphire instead of my starter.
U abandon your starter?
One thing to note about Nidoking in gen 3, a lot of its best TMs come from the game corner, which you can easily buy after just a little money grinding with the amulet coin and VS seeker.

Weird Dudes Do more raids. It's actually quite easy to get.
Competitively though, you'd actually want pressure over Mirror Armor.
I will say you should NOT pick Incineroar so you can use Alolan Muk. Alolan Muk and Mudsdale can wall that entire region with no problem. Use another wall, like Magnezone who is better than Vikavolt, and you are set.
I always use decidueye anyways since I love that Pokémon
@superyoshi_1889 I used Decidueye in Sun. I was extremely proud of the nickname of Legolas.
I picked Primarina in Ultra Sun as my sister gave me a Litten to use as a fire type, as none of the others called to me. Alolan Marowak did but I didn't want to double up on Ghost type.
I second this, I have both Alolan Muk and Mudsdale on my team in UM and they are both extremely useful members.
My team consisted of Decidueye (fav gen 7 starter), Vikavolt, Alolan Muk, Hariyama (Didn't plan on using him but I ran into a shiny Makuhita on route 2), Mudsdale, and Vaporeon. Funny thing is I didn't plan on using Alolan Muk initially either but I just loved it's new design so much I just had to have it on my team. He turned out to be the MVP against Ultra Necrozma.

I wanna tell Michael Thats a FOOLISH MISCALCULATION!!!

I think that Chandelure is a very solid choice for B&W. It has a monstrous special attack, but it does overlap with emboar.
There are quite a few pokés that are amazing to use that just happen to overlap with a starter type. Would've been cool for a second video on this with those pokés, where you have stuff like Gyarados and cohorts.
Why would you pick emboar if darmanitan and chandelure is better
I think that Nidoking actually has some pretty good moves. Also it can poison.
In gen III it got better moves such as Megahorn. But it got its moves mostly from TM's.

@@sub-zer0189 Intimidate > Inner Focus (Gen IV)
Why does it bother me whenever Michael says, "times accuracy?" I thought it was just called x accuracy
K9 normal math people usually use an asterisk or dot to convey multiplication, due to X also being the symbol used for the variable in most cases
@@aiezar I know, but its the only explanation in this case, that I can think of course.

Gogoat with bulldoze: Am I a joke to you?
You get Poison Jab in the Pokemon Center of Shalour City, right before Ramos. Mega Lucario would, after 1 Swords Dance(you can set that up on his Weepinbell), be guaranteed to one-hit KO Ramos' Gogoat with Poison Jab, plus, Lucario would still be able to KO Ramos' Gogoat even if it doesn't KO with Poison Jab, since Lucario will actually survive a Bulldoze from Gogoat, even with a Hasty nature, which lowers Defense.
