I really hate his 'tip' about being passionate. Does he really want us to be passionate, say about feminism, animal rights or make-up? Because I think his idea of a girl being passioanate is stroking some guy's fragile ego by supporting his interests and suggestions, thus moulding our personality around a man's. This reminds me so much of the Cool Girl trope and I am triggered.
this reminds me of a margaret atwood quote: "“Male fantasies, male fantasies, is everything run by male fantasies? Up on a pedestal or down on your knees, it's all a male fantasy: that you're strong enough to take what they dish out, or else too weak to do anything about it. Even pretending you aren't catering to male fantasies is a male fantasy: pretending you're unseen, pretending you have a life of your own, that you can wash your feet and comb your hair unconscious of the ever-present watcher peering through the keyhole, peering through the keyhole in your own head, if nowhere else. You are a woman with a man inside watching a woman. You are your own voyeur."
He's like that guy in high school that found out a girl had a crush on him and that small little ego boost spiraled into thinking he's a sex God. What I really wanna hear is the experience of the women he dated.
The fact that this guy thinks being teachable is a negative attribute (emasculating) is a clear red flag. I like how you used a work example about why that’s bad, as well. If he’s like that in his relationships then I guarantee you he’s like that in the workplace. He shouldn’t be in a relationship or a workplace until he talks to a therapist about his issues with learning new skills and bettering himself. That’s not masculine. That’s just irrational behavior, through and through.
3:51 As a trans guy I can confirm. I had to sign all my braincells away when coming out. But also, this guy has never even seen the braincell to begin with
“Don’t accept criticism. Never learn. All constructive communication to provide better outcomes for everyone involved is toxic and a personal attack”. I had this mentality for awhile. I mean, I know that some predators are born with a play instinct (think how kittens and puppies play) that they turn into hunting skills. I can see this being a theory but honestly I don’t know enough about it to make any connectionz
In case anyone was wondering, *no, male and female brains aren’t “wired differently”.* They have some differences in hormone levels and that’s it. People of all genders experience relatively the same amounts of empathy, emotions, etc, and those differences are almost NEVER because of sex (not the act, like, your body... yaknow). Most of the time, men seeming more “cold and logical” vs women being “emotional and irrational” is uhhh gender roles :/. And yes those “male vs female brains” ideas/theories were indeed made and used to uphold and excuse sexism, and, later, transphobia. Yet another reason why this guy is gross and creepy! :)
Asher :p can confirm this comment 👏 I took a gender psychology class and the class could be summed up in one brief sentence: the differences between biological men and biological women are minute, there’s more variability between people of the same biological sex than there is with the opposite sex. Most behavioral differences are cultural from gender roles and misogyny, not innate. Whether you’re XX or XY or XXY or any other chromosomal difference, our brain is basically the same!
I agree on most parts but there are differences in the brain's anatomy that are based on gender. There are some studies on this (some with trans individuals). So yes, there *are* differences but they 1. aren't the same in ever individual of one group and 2. aren't as stark as this guy makes them out to be. As of now, it's still kinda unclear how those differences *really* impact our behaviour as socialisation is always mixed in. Taking biology completely out of the equation is dishonest and gives transphobes ammunition imo. It's harder to argue against physical evidence.

Ok, I'm a gay boy, so I'm out of the loop... how exactly do straight men think? I am befuddled at the thought process behind everything that was mentioned in all the clips reacted to.
I was sitting here this whole time thinking "I wonder what would happen if met a gay man/woman" because all his points were very hetero (talking about different brains, "roles", etc) 😂😂
Hi guys, "former straight" bi guy here, lemme break it down for you. Straight men don't think. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. No but forreal, what it is that a lot of straight people are so tunnel vision and obsessive about relationships they forget that anything beyond their own dating situation exists. This is why you almost never hear any non-straights give "biological dating advice". The same reason that a lot of straights think that we are "not normal" they think there's a systemic normalcy to how attraction works for everyone (and by everyone, they mean straights cuz we don't exist). Okay, NOW thank you for coming to my TED talk. I have no evidence of this, it's just based on my experience.
Also, this particular guy is a toxic little baby man who wants to always feel like a strong manly king man who never is wrong or stupid. (Probably because he's usually wrong or stupid)

fun fact: from birth there's actually not a (or not a groundbreaking one at least ) difference between a male babies' brain and a female babies' brain
i could be wrong but im pretty sure this has been researched multiple times
was that jopping playing during the 'types of men' segment? ive heard mark lee's verse too many times to not recognise it immediately
I thought that too!!!!!!
okay so its not just me that heard it fiuh
you think you're a big boy throwing three stacks?
Yes and jihyo’s high note in fancy was later in the video too!!
Dating advice channels: ladies, hide your true personality so you can settle for mediocre men!
LMFAO LITERALLY💀💀💀
Ok, I'm a gay boy, so I'm out of the loop... how exactly do straight men think? I am befuddled at the thought process behind everything that was mentioned in all the clips reacted to.
I'm a lesbian and also confused lol.
I was sitting here this whole time thinking "I wonder what would happen if met a gay man/woman" because all his points were very hetero (talking about different brains, "roles", etc) 😂😂
@@Ash_W04 His brain would not comprehend
I do not understand how there is so much out there on "attraction" when it's such a subjective thing.
If Casey just used the sound for Jopping at 4:30 my respect for her just skyrocketed
6:16 umm sorry bud but I don’t know any woman that walks like she’s in Backstreet Boys or NSYNC...
That part made me scared lol he seems really creepy. Like he just thinks women exist to serve men
but can you imagine someone watching you struggle while you're doing something wrong because they're trying to protect your pride when they could have helped you have a better or faster way the entire time? is that not annoying? if i was with someone and they were like "hey you should cut veggies like this it's quicker and safer" i'd be like "oh sweet thanks" not develop some weird grudge
Coddling men’s egos by not letting them know there’s better ways to do things is why we have mansplaining
13:16 is that Jihyo fancy high note I’m hearing ??
“who’s his audience? wolverine” SENT ME I-
She should’ve played a snippet of Dramarama by Monsta X 😂
At 4:28 we got some SuperM at least 😆
And we got twice
This guy is the literal poster child for toxic masculinity.
