With availability being what it is (still), this card could meet needs of some niche folks who do like CAD work, game, mine... Actually seems like more of a competitor to the Rx 6800/xt given vram capacity and bandwidth and its pricing isn't far off from the 6800. That thing is sick. Price is a little out of range to be best cost/hash card but still sick. Also RFM, if you haven’t already gotten an a2000 I may have a few in 1-2 weeks. Supposed to ship this week

I sent in my 2080ti gaming trio for an RMA and they sent this out to me. seems like it is not available to US, and has only been sent to people who make reviews. It doesnt seem to like the trex miner LHR settings. it constantly swings between 55& 65 while power also swings between 150w-255w.
@@RedFoxCrypto gotchya...i was just curious cause i always use the lock mem clock cause one time a gpu crashed randomly and went back to its settings and was running almost max power till i got home a day later...now if it crashes it goes back to locked clocks automatically.. i only use msi to tweak and find the settings the cards like ... keep putting out these awesome videos!! i learn something new everytime! ur the man!
I'm curious how loud the fan is at 100%. One of my cards is a 5700 blower and at 60% fan, it sounds like a jet engine, twice as loud as any other card I have. Is this the same?
just paid $1100 for a second hand used only 1 month, probably mining :D so i got 65mh/s SOLID 3 days now. 128WATT, 75% fan at 59C in side an octominer case. now thinking i must get more! just head a mail from China they drop some prices for A4000. i think 1100$ for brand new. but there is a minimum order i think 10. Note that if you dont have server case dont bother with this card , out of server case the temps was hitting 69C - 73 C !!!!

I’m only getting 62.5 mh on Linux MSOS trex miner, 3300 memory, locked core at 1170… The cards are HOT, core temps avg at 64c, not sure about the memory temp Linux :((…. but I guess it’s higher than yours. If I go any higher than 3300 memory, the rig will shut off randomly, I’m guessing because of the temps… Also, I’m running 4 of them in a closed server case with 4 delta fans 6000 RPM… without the fans they run at 75c… I just wanted to point this out because it’s worth noting that 66MH is really hard to reach, at least it is for me.. if anyone have some advice, im all ears
Using the A series cards for mining is like watching Derek Zoolander mine for coal... Not going to end well. Great cards for graphics work, tempted to get some for AI deep learning stuff but seems cruel to put them to work on ETH mining. Just saying ..
Interesting card but a bit pricey at over $20 per MH. I would also be a bit leery of the GPU's ability to hold up over the long haul. Mining is not easy on any GPU. Finally, I assume resale would be a bit harder than a standard gaming GPU.

This card is made for a very specific purpose and no mining is not one of them. There are many reasons why this card should not be used in mining below are few: This card need to remain cool so normally it used in workstations hosted in data center (da 95% of you don't even know what it is) it's a big room with lot of computers and lot of AC so the room temperature never go beyond 17c. So unless you are able to provide this kind of cooling the card won't Last. 2. The card is not designed to take this kind of abuse so they may not last like a 3070 or even 1060 in 3-6 months they will fail and guess what. No warranty because you cannot get warranty on a burn card. 3. For ETH you are getting good hash rate but what about other coins? Well the moment you will increase clock speed the temperatures gona go up maybe in 100s what will you do then. 4. It has no resale value. No gamers will not buy it and companies buy New cards not used one so it's your for lifetime once you purchase it.
u actually can mod the cooler using 3060 palit stormx, its gonna bring down the temp by ~10c on core, ~20c on vram plus workstation cards generally maintain its value quite well. I'm thinking to get it for my work tho and some mining to cover the cost
Fan on 90-100% for 62-65c ,. Vent(fan) will die in 3-4 monts :-) And you can just hope that you can react in time to stop Gpu overhiting before it does permanent damage to chip.
gonna be kinda funny when these cards all sudden stop working.. these are accelerator cards for rendering .. not meant for 24/7 abuse.. thats why they are so thin (barely a heatsink on it) .. to fit in compact spaces in servers, you're better off getting a 3070 or 3070ti or even a 3080, stats might be close or the same.. but still they werent designed for 24/7 abuse like graphics cards were designed for kids to play high end graphics games overclocked and 24/7 hammering on them, but whatever.. its your money
Mines very similar to a 6800xt actually (64mh/s @ 132w on my 6800xt). You can find 6800xts for less money and they will almost certainly have more resale value.
But that 132 watts is "AMD" watts, not "real" watts. So probably closer to 170 watts including riser power, so not even close to the A4000 in terms of efficiency..

Yea HiveOS was not stable over 65MH on it for me. It crashed like 10-15 mins in but sick it gets that for you in windows!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
