Hey Mike, same boat. I mined Verus since 2018. I sold recently only because I got sick and tired of the constant wallet updates. Had enough of that mess. I sold on TO 500 at a time until I emptied my wallet.
@@RedFoxCrypto I know this is a huge ask, but I"m out about $250 not knowing how to swap properly. eg. A coin for example BRETT which I had in my Tangem, wanted to convert it to another. I used the convert.... I"m getting too complicated. How about a video showing the differences between chains? Some happy person got $160 of Based Brett I converted via my Tangem wallet into XRP and .... well.... I f'ed up somehow.
I did that with Flux last Bullrun! It went from the bottom of my portfolio to the top .11 CAD to 4.20 CAD that was fun! I would sell half now and wait to see if price rises! Me personally i don't stake during Bullruns i want to be able to sell out and buy back in during the Bearmarket that's when i run nodes and stake!
Sebs told me to do RVN and thats what I did like 95% of the time and unfortunately it doesnt want to go up and it needs to go up A LOT to make it worthwhile... I made 2x more doing GPU>ETH>BTC on unmineable for like 3 months when I had some RVN pool shutdown or something, vs 2 years of mining RVN...
The thing that concerns me about Ravencoin is that it is essentially still the same price it was when the project launched in 2018. It had a pump in 2021 but that's about it. I like the project and that it was a fair launch but no one has talked about it in years until just recently.
I have sent some of my mined VRSC to exchange and have my sell limits set. The rest is staked on the wallet. I think playing both strategies work for me. Getting profits out never hurts IMO. Also the bot army below wants you to buy Alemio for whatever reason :)
Thanks for watching and the comment. I think I'm going to start selling a little to lock in profits and stake the rest just like you. When the bots are back crypto is back.
@@RedFoxCrypto This is my first BTC cycle with meaningful amounts of gains, and boy has it been hard to take profits. The greed that sets in when you see a coin up by 500% is real. Always enjoy your videos
@RedFoxCrypto thanks man, yeaup started with a 3950x & 3800x sold the 3950x when the 7950x came out. Mined it off and on after that. Staked what i had, and ran that off and on as well, had alot of issues over the years running the wallet, turns out that 8GB of ram was not cutting it so i upped it to 32GB and havent had an issue since.
Hey fox, this is just my opinion ofcourse, but I would honestly sell all of it (in small portions) and convert it to btc which will probably will go higher or just cash out in usd. Remember the "zero sum game" in crypto. I had a shit tons clore ai mined a while back, clore went to 0,40$ and I didn't sell, later I sold all of it at 0,06$ clore which significantlly reduced my profits, don't be like me and take profits when it feels right.
I think you are 100% right. In 2021 when ETH was going up again I started offloading slowly and I'm glad I did. I locked in a lot of profits from holding from years and years. I also like the idea of selling alts into BTC which continues to show its insane value overtime.
Congrats nice bag! Also, great basic, short guide on trading low cap coins! If I'd be in your shoes I'd stake most of it, and cash out the staking rewards monthly maybe.?
@@RedFoxCrypto Exactly what I'd do, IDK, you invested $1-2K, cash that out at least (or more if you have something that you'd reward yourself with) and just stake the rest to have a nice low maintenance passive income (that would be my strategy, but its just 1 strategy)
One thing to remember, what you stake will still gain or lose value based on the value of the coin so, your still basically keeping the same risk of hold, but with the benefits of a small offset by the apy return
This is the hardest part about Crypto mining: knowing when to sell and when to continue holding. For me, it all comes down to goals: Short, mid and long term. What is the bigger picture and how do these Crypto profits fit into that? Keeping those front and center makes putting the sell order in a lot easier.
I was one of the first on mining Kaspa still ETH was minable. Still holding my 1.5 Mil KASPA not going to sell just holdling till I figure out what to do with it. Ideally all the money would go to real estate at some point to turn the vitural into physical :)
@@RedFoxCrypto Thanks man it's been hard quite challenging to figure out when to sell now. I said to myself after 10 years will see what to do with it. Quite a few people realise 2030 is around the corner but a lot of people are rushing, but for where?
My thoughts are the markets are going up is taking some profits now take more as it going up. Then you can rebuy for the new super cycle. As everyone says this is not financial advice. My plan is to be flat with everything but my Bitcoin. I may sell some of that as well ,but not all of it. Then mine and sell weekly until the market bottom out. I expect it to do the same thing as last cycle. Then mine and buy over the next 2 years until it’s time to sell again. That is my current plan and it could change if the 4 year cycle gets broken.
Alas… I sold most of my Verus at $2 to buy GPUs. Kept a small amount and kept mining though. In my mind I would sell to invest. But with what you have at most half of it. Just sell what you need to fund your project. HODL the rest until you need capital again.
Nice dude! I think I'm pretty settled on selling a good portion to lock in some profits. I could put it right towards finishing off what I'll owe when my solar install is complete!
You helped me to have a go at mining Firo solo way back. I havent been mining since the end of etherium. But just diversified into hopefull crypto. With some of the gains and left it sitting for like 2years. Im planning on getting a solar setup when i move soon. And might try some spec mining next year. All the best man.
Here's the link if you need an App to track crypto. It’s free, but some paid features are optional and not necessary for basic usage: geni.us/getdelta
Verus is a massive project. Once every blockchain is bridge the value will sky rocket as it will be the biggest eco system around
HUGE WIN!!!
*I would dump it lol*
DUMP IT
Take the shekels & RUN
Congrats man! Always nice to see wins like these.
Thank you buddy!
Congrats man!!
You deserve it!

Good stuff man and congrats on the gains. I think I'm going to start offloading as well. At least 50%. Gotta lock in some profits.
REALLY appreciate you walking through the Trade Ogre part of this process. Something I"ve been hammered on to date due to lack of knowledge.
Glad it was helpful my dude. Thanks for watching and for commenting.

Hey man, thank you for sharing. I'm learning so much from your content and i appreciate your transparency.
This is the situation i want to be one day. Thanks for sharing Fox!
HODL baby 🔥
Ya. I tend to sell my mined coins right before they go up 100% lol
Nicely done! The mine and HODL method is paying off right now for sure
Thanks my dude.
Rfox is still my biggest win to date. $500 invested in early 2020.
That's a wild gain any way you cut it. Well done holding that long
EDIT: holy shit these bot shills below me are so cringe...
Thanks dude. Crypto is back when the bots show up.
Take out your initial investment for the hardware, stake the rest.

From what I see on the price chart, it has just started to pump too. Have a bit more patience. Everything will be booming now in 2025, including RVN.

I had 5300 coins sold 2000 coins at 4.75 and left the rest staking. 😊

Verus coin will go to around $100 a coin
I believe in the long term play... take a bit of profit (you earned it), stake a bit to earn more and put a bit in BTC.
6 years going into 7 years is a really long hold. Congrats man.
Thanks buddy!
Verus is the only coin I mined since 2017 that has ever gone up insanely. Up 2000% on my mined coins. Most go to zero.

It's a good question. How to large buys/sells for BTC happen for institutional investors? Someone wants to sell 1000 BTC? How do they do that?
They do it all over the counter (OTC) off exchanges.
