In general I would like to second your closing advice " take care of yourself, each other, PEACE!"! This is so important - i really like that. KEEP IT UP!
I have just bought one of these BTC+ Pro just like this one. The extra MB plugs are only used like Power Supply Tester to turn on the extra power supplies you might use. I'm using 1 - 1000W and 1 850W.
@@kimviinikka1390 There is only "1" plugin for PSU to power the MB The other "2" are simply plugs for another PSU or Two to turn on with Main Power Supply in sync. Their purpose is only to signal to turn on. Same purpose as MB Splitter cable Amazon sells. In other words, if the stupid thing was working, you could actual say, plugin 3 650W just to have them all come on at the same time to power the GPUS 6 and 8 pin plugs on top of 6 GPU. one 1300W will not have enough VGA Plugs to power to run 6 GPU. ie... My 6 GPU miner has a 1300W and an 850W PSU as the 1300W does not have enough VGA plugs to safely power 6 GPU's My miner pulls 835W. Which in theory is the high end of safety 80% for 1300W PSU is 1000W, so I use a second PSU and it needs to come on at the same time as main PSU. Using 2 PSU give me 10 VGA plugs, but they need to power up at same time. Or spend nearly $500 for a single 1600W PSU that already comes with a few more VGA plugs to power my 6 GPU and 6 Risers I currently have.. So it's not a pure Power problem, it's a number of actual VGA plugs problem. I don't like using 2 8plug - 6+2Plugs to power 2 GPU and their risers as for me I have 3 plugs on each 2 for GPU and 1 Riser. But my problem with the ASRock H510 Pro BTC+ was it never would boot to BIOS and kept giving memory error. So I sent it back to Amazon.
i ended up using risers with mine anyway as getting the cards out turned out to be a pain getting the black v hook (not sure what its called) to click out from under the rx 6800 cards i had in it was a riot. skint knuckles etc
I bought this board a few months ago - running 2 x GTX 1660 Supers, RTX3070 FE and an RX580. Under windows it would often lose network. Under HiveOS it's rock solid. Bare board with 16gb ram and celeron CPU is 47w at the wall - really pleased with it.
@@RedFoxCrypto Nope - couldn't find anything for it. Currently it is sat on top of the box it came in up on a shelf. Great review - air flow is key. I never liked the all-in-ones because everything sits so close together. But, great to see you trying one out - maybe putting some 1660s in there or some 6600s would be a good bet.
So looking at this from another point of view, wonder how this would work with PCIE Sata Expansion cards instead of VGAs to use it as a NAS/DAS storage setup. 6 slots with a 10sata expansion could give you 60 potential HDD/SSD Sata devices plus the 1 onboard SATA & M2 slot for a further 2 more.

Hi, great video!! You convinced me to buy one of this.. I am however curious over how you can connect a secondary power supply and how the white 24 connector comes into play in that case? Could you possibly explain that. Thanks in advance!
@@RedFoxCrypto btw, on the PCB besides the one mining port connection along the same edge of the mobo there are 4 other mining ports but without the usb type adapter.. this makes me wonder if the mobo is able to run all together up to 11 gpus? :/ maybe this would be a good question for asrock support..
The two additional 24 connectors won‘t take Power at all. I guess, They are supposed to bridge a secondary power Supply so this will automatically start with the main power supply.
Oh.. so it’s just like a two pin shorting to get a secondary atx to start. Do you have any idea about my other replay regarding the mining ports that to not have a usb to pcie interface soldered to the board?
with this board i have it on a open frame that i am going to enclose the plan though is putting 3 cards on the board and then use 12 inch PCIE ribbon cables and elevate the other 4 on the upper so there is enough air flow and space for al cards with out losing slotts. ALSO THIS BOARD CAN SUPPORT MORE THEN 7 GPUS, IT IS DEPENDANT ON YOUR CPU PCIE LANES!!!! slot 1 is a full x16 and 2 thru 5 are x1 and the usb for a riser and then the M.2 so all in all it is a riserless mother board but using risers you can get 11, Slot 1 PCIE x1 to x4, slot 2 thru 5 the usb and then M.2 adapter totaling 11
Nice review Mike! I hope you will do a follow up video on this card in a few weeks to a month...let us hear if you experience any issues with the card. I've read it's very finicky, I definitely hope it is not, but my mining/computer skills are not on your high level. I took the dive and bought one via your links just now. I bought that plate with 6 rx 6600xt 1 Pentium processor of the 10th generation gold and 8 gigabytes of ram and the problem is that it gives me an error when I put the 6 plates, it takes a single plate. Could you tell me what it is? and the m.2 ssd doesn't find it either I'm going crazy. Thanks
Good only for 1660s and ti versions. Other GPUs has different orientation of the exhaust warm air aluminum plates, thus part of the warm air getting back to the air intake. Not great solution. Other MB that requires risers is actually better for big cards - more space. Okay, it is more expensive to buy all that risers, make frame and what not, but at the end - it has much better air flow.
Molex is fine just never use sata!! personally I added 2 wires to the pcie cable on the psu side.. and put that on the riser.. those pins are 8 amps each so that is 96 watt,, to be safe take 80% of that and you have 75watt.. so its always enough for a riser.. just keep in mind when u use atx pins, that the connection clamping degrades over time when it goes on and off and on and off.. but you can see it dip in hw info.. also keep in mind when monitoring in hw info that the biggest voltage drop you see(at 60watt and above) is the pcie port itself.
and to be extra precise molex is the best connector of them all.. the cable was the weakest link.. and with sata and atx pins the connector is the weakest link... then came the modulair psu's and now we have weak links on both sides.. whahaha my god... these std's.. lets start over with al of those..whaha 24pin is a chaotic mess also! just make 1 type of 5v 1 type of 3v and one 12v.. then add a universal "new atx" for only the switching part and that can be a digital link... or does someone have a good explanation for me why 12v eps is logical to make different then 12v pcie? whahah
I have this board. Hooked up to a single power supply. Running Hive OS from USB. I am only able to get the card in the first slot to mine. Ive tried several configurations with different cards, and always just the first slot mining. And boot, I get all cards seen as green. Any Ideas how to fix?
did you ever figure this issue out... im literally stuck in the exact same scenario.. all cards green.. only first card mining.. and in device manager all there but with the yellow warning symbol.. drivers are all up to date.. what bios settings did you end up changing?
Not related to the 510, but I have a H110 Pro and two EVGA SuperNova 1000w PSUs. I currently have (11) 1660 Supers and planning on a 12th. I'd like 13 to max out the H110, but the PSU's only give me 12 total VGA sockets .... how do you add a 13th card for the H110 with both PSU's only providing 12 VGA sockets?! @@hamedka007 I don't think so ... I think SATA is only rated for 54w, and the risers can theoretically pull something like 75w. Thanks for the reply, though. Maybe molex? I'd like to keep all PCIe if at all possible.

I wonder if you add USB ports to the unpopulated areas you may be able to add 4 more cards 🤔 maybe they are planning on selling a 11/12 card motherboard later on
I haven't used this exact board, but have dealt with many similar ones. By now I am sure you figured it out by now, but I believe that the third ATX isn't for powering the PCIE but rather for linking the PSUs. The first two ATX's and the molex is what's powering the PCIEs
why would you want all your graphics next to each other you create more heat = higher fan usage and more dust to clean and hard to manouver to work on each graphics card

GUYS I NEED HELP! I’m running a similar setup to the boss excluding the RAM using a Corsair 8GB 2666mhz. I find that every time I boot, it gives me 5 beeps and there’s no display. How do I solve this? Everything is brand new and not working
Hi, great video!! You convinced me to buy one of this..
I am however curious over how you can connect a secondary power supply and how the white 24 connector comes into play in that case? Could you possibly explain that.
Thanks in advance!
I'll do an overview of my build on it this week. Should answer some of those questions. I got you brother!
@@nordinsuleimani3757 yeah dude! I saw this too. So curious about that.
I got the same board, but my Intel I 5 10400 F won't fit with this board, but I couldn't figure it out why 😣🙄
Are you sure H110 doesnt have DVI port..?? Because i m using DVI to HDMI cable in asrock H110 pro btc+
Yes. It only has DVI: www.asrock.com/mb/intel/h110%20pro%20btc+/
I've finally regained everything I've lost from 4BTC to 12BTC,using Mr. Ronald's signals.
I will advice you should-stop trading on your own if you keep losing and start trading with Mr Ronald trading services.
with this board i have it on a open frame that i am going to enclose the plan though is putting 3 cards on the board and then use 12 inch PCIE ribbon cables and elevate the other 4 on the upper so there is enough air flow and space for al cards with out losing slotts.
I did pick a bit more powerful processor and opted for a single 16GB RAM stick...just a little extra horsepower if needed. Cheap insurance I guess....LOL
Looking forward for the follow up too
Investing powerful CPU and 16gb ram for GPU mining is unnecessary. Any cheap CPU and 4 GB RAM is enough.
Nice video! Unfortunately when ima trying to add last two GPUs to this motherboard 4+2 the MB does not read them. I tried everything but latest two PCIE slots doesn't accept GPUS. BIOS is updated also. Only way is to put risers on it and then they work! ..any solutions?
Hey I appreciate the video, but as someone who is brand new to this kind of custom build what would be really helpful is a step by step setup video.
I have this mobo and currently having a really hard time figuring out what's preventing it from booting.
Cheers!
I have the same problem. I think i have done everyting right but there is no video output.
@@fabianericsson2094 I flashed the BIOS with 1.24 update and HiveOS still no worky. Switched to windows 10 and all good now. Just FYI
I am using this. The Molex are very hard to plug in.
Are you using multiple molex strands?
@@RedFoxCrypto Just the Molex cable from Antec HGC 850W. I only install 4 cards, so plugged two Molex only.
6x 3060 lhr V1 on this ! try it ! :)
Interesting to see if it will accommodate a 4 port pcie splitter off the USB. I guess not due to not 4x and not enough lanes🤷♀️
Molex is fine just never use sata!! personally I added 2 wires to the pcie cable on the psu side.. and put that on the riser.. those pins are 8 amps each so that is 96 watt,, to be safe take 80% of that and you have 75watt.. so its always enough for a riser.. just keep in mind when u use atx pins, that the connection clamping degrades over time when it goes on and off and on and off.. but you can see it dip in hw info.. also keep in mind when monitoring in hw info that the biggest voltage drop you see(at 60watt and above) is the pcie port itself.
and to be extra precise molex is the best connector of them all.. the cable was the weakest link.. and with sata and atx pins the connector is the weakest link... then came the modulair psu's and now we have weak links on both sides.. whahaha my god... these std's.. lets start over with al of those..whaha 24pin is a chaotic mess also!
just make 1 type of 5v 1 type of 3v and one 12v.. then add a universal "new atx" for only the switching part and that can be a digital link... or does someone have a good explanation for me why 12v eps is logical to make different then 12v pcie? whahah
@@wichard9097 that is why i never used modular psu in mining
I have this board. Hooked up to a single power supply. Running Hive OS from USB. I am only able to get the card in the first slot to mine. Ive tried several configurations with different cards, and always just the first slot mining. And boot, I get all cards seen as green. Any Ideas how to fix?
I had to do a BIOS update to get more than one 30 series card recognized.
did you ever figure this issue out... im literally stuck in the exact same scenario.. all cards green.. only first card mining.. and in device manager all there but with the yellow warning symbol.. drivers are all up to date.. what bios settings did you end up changing?
Not related to the 510, but I have a H110 Pro and two EVGA SuperNova 1000w PSUs. I currently have (11) 1660 Supers and planning on a 12th. I'd like 13 to max out the H110, but the PSU's only give me 12 total VGA sockets .... how do you add a 13th card for the H110 with both PSU's only providing 12 VGA sockets?!
EDIT: Each of the VGA sockets currently in use is going to each card with a splitter to power that card's riser.
you can power 2 risers with sata converted to 6pin and you gained 1 vga and use a splitter on it
@@hamedka007 I don't think so ... I think SATA is only rated for 54w, and the risers can theoretically pull something like 75w. Thanks for the reply, though. Maybe molex? I'd like to keep all PCIe if at all possible.
@@FlextheJuvat molex is not rated with power and so is a bit of a mystery, however your 1660 only takes max 140, 54 Sata+ 1 pcie 125 Is more than enough.
Is that a version for 12 GPUs? If not. Is there a version for 12 GPUs?
i having problems with this MB and HiveOS. Dont work onboard videocard at HiveOS.
Did you try switching from auto to the integrating graphics in the bios?
@@RedFoxCrypto I did it. This problem only in HiveOs. Win10 works OK. RaveOS works Ok. This is a HiveOS only problem but I use it anyway. The main thing is to download the file with your settings and you can connect remotely.
Red fox. Thanks for the video. I bought two of these but the only see one card. Can’t seem to get them to see any other cards besides one. Any ideas: anyone.
BIOS update should fix that!
im actually intrested in the MAX compacity of the pcie lanes on these boards....... i have B550M-C boards running the 1-4 pcie amazon splitters,
could the H510's pcie also be split to run additional cards per slot? im always looking for expandability, and wouldnt want to be hard limited to just 6gpu per rig/.
Nice!!
Can someone suggest a server chassis I can get in europe for a board like this? Everything I've found comes with it's own motherboard.
Hello friend! I have some troubles with H510 pro btc+. Could you help me please?
I have connected to motherboard a RAM DDR4 8gb 2666, CPU i3-10100F, GPU 3060ti (to GPU I have connected an HDMI-HDMI cable), 24pin PSU cable connected and powering up motherboard my monitor says no signal. But Fans are working. No beep indication. I can’t enter even bios since it says that no signal. I am new in mining, so maybe I have mistaken somewhere. Could you help me?
Tried with another i5 CPU and still the same error. I have a question, is it necessary to plug in 8pin connector on motherboard to try to enter the bios? If yes, the PSU shut downs when I plug it in and on the mb.
Isn´t this motherboard all about using 6x v1 LHR with Dev Driver ?
No. Only first slot can be used for this sadly.
@@Meeliskt77 Okay. thanks for that info !
So need some help lol Just got the motherboard, i have 7 gpus i was under the impression that i could use atx for main board then the molex to the ports AND then use my 2400 watt server psu to power the top end of the card. well the manual says to make usre that the molex are powered by the same PSU that supplies the GPU tops power other wise it can damage the cards and board has anyone tried using atx with molex and then the sever psu like we have for ever?
Mine won’t detect more than 10 gpus, i checked everything and even tried another gpus from a working rig, anyone has a solution? It sometimes detect them thou which why i know it’s not defective or smth
Running 1.6 official bios
It is not an M.2 NVMe drive slot. It is only compatible with M.2 SATA drives.
Can you add 6 monitors instead of mining? 1 monitor on each gpu...
Yes
I wonder if you add USB ports to the unpopulated areas you may be able to add 4 more cards 🤔 maybe they are planning on selling a 11/12 card motherboard later on
See this MB in local market and start search info. This video first! Thanx, i get all info
Thanks dude. Also, just posted a video showing the build I did with this motherboard.
I haven't used this exact board, but have dealt with many similar ones. By now I am sure you figured it out by now, but I believe that the third ATX isn't for powering the PCIE but rather for linking the PSUs. The first two ATX's and the molex is what's powering the PCIEs
I'm a huge fan bro 💙💙💚💚
I have been with you from the starting of the channel 😇💙
Can u please make a full tutorial to set this up 🖥
This looks like a great Mobo, hopefully they'll get a lot cheaper during the bear market, I'd like to get one for less than $212
It’ll probably be like $20 during the next bear market.
@@RedFoxCrypto Epic 😎
why would you want all your graphics next to each other you create more heat = higher fan usage and more dust to clean and hard to manouver to work on each graphics card
