    wow. I realise, i have insomnia because i dont want to go to sleep.
    The reason is that i dont feel satisfied with my day because im not living the life i want to live or doing what i want to do.... I cant accept that the day is over when i havent done anything that feels significant or meaningful...

      This sleep therapy *4InsomniaCure. Com* works. I started out suffering from insomnia at a young age. Of all of treatments I have used, this is the one that effectively broke the cycle of my own sleeping disorders. I got a better sleep these days that I had put into practice the treament program constantly without fail. .

    This is the best video about insomnia I have ever watched as someone experiencing negative insomnia. Thank you so much. Sometimes I only sleep for an hour or less and I feel refreshed. Sometimes I sleep the whole night and I feel terrible and exhausted from sleeping. It's been difficult so I will try your recommendations to resolve my sleeping anxiety and insomnia. THANK YOU SO MUCH Teal :)

      It's been 8 months, how's your insomnia going?

    • @laza8675
      @laza8675 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should do a sleep apnea test if you sometimes wake up after long nights feeling unwell. it's a symptom.

  • @jamesking4644
    @jamesking4644 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    I have been dealing with insomnia for about 6 months now. One thing that i have only realized, is that reducing the anxiety and energy fighting it makes the world of difference. The day after a sleepless night is 5x easier if you can reduce anxiousness. Accept it, then you will stop fearing it so much, then you start sleeping better. Still a work in progress for me but things are improving

    • @your-alter-ego7895
      @your-alter-ego7895 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, i developed anxiety attacks due to the 'inability' to fall asleep. i could reduce them again thank god, i am still clueless on how exactly i can relief the resistance or as teal says how to find out what the discordance is. i have so no clue. sometimes i think there is still something on my mind that stresses me out and is not fully expressed yet, or i would still want to do something and i dont know what?! im so exhausted of all that. its horrible

    THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. think about how easy it is to pull all nighters or just to heal injuries when were children, because when were still young we have yet to be fully socialized and thus still retain a strong connection to our higher self. This also explains why as kids everything looks saturated in color and life seems chaotic and surreal, because at the time, mindset and level of connection; it was.

    I am ever so grateful to you Teal. You speak on ideas that I always wondered but never found validation for anywhere else. My experiences with the bipolar paradigm got me to start doubting whether what you describe as positive sleep exists, as doctors say that mania tends to be caused by lack of sleep. But I know from experience all through childhood/teenhood that one can also be energized throughout the night not needing sleep. I suspect if this is more common with artists/writers. The way I see it there's no point to forcing it (forcing anything really). If your body wants sleep it will show you. Otherwise...go do that thing you love and need you've been meaning to do but just haven't!

    Just last night I had to go back to my sleeping pills because again I am having problems with sleeping. This morning, I came for the first time to your channel (after watching a video with you and Ralph Smart), and see this. I have Thryroid problems and those have caused me the insomnia. It is really desperating... I will try putting into practice your tips. Thank you

    • @rockforester7908
      @rockforester7908 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Off topic but I hope with all my heart that Teal never does a video with Ralph Smart again. It’s like Albert Einstein doing a video with Bozo the Clown while we’re all supposed to pretend there is some equality in the two. I would donate to the Republican Party if it meant I would never have to see Teal with Ralph “Smart” again.

      Since I started out adulthood, I couldn`t get enough rest. I am on day 7 of this sleep plan *4InsomniaCure. Com* and already feel better. I slept for 8 hours last night, for the very first time in ages. This is a extremely helpful plan. I read about the causes of insomnia and various ways to treat it. So you can pick what works for you.

    That 'call of source' used to get me up for delicious moonlit walks or foggy dawns or into cities as they woke up. Then i had a flatmate who called all these behaviours 'crazy" and even mentioned reporting it..so scared was she of the consequences she feared of not doing what she thought 'everybody' did.
    A night without sleep, and the subsequent deep sleep is a great way to reset.

    i seen this video before but forgot. I'm a tactile learner so i wrote all the info down lol. but this time I figured out the internal issue with sleep. as a child my family would all watch tv in the evening. then commercials came and exactly at 8 pm a small program of a puppet show for kids would come on singing a song about going to sleep. my family would all laugh and redicule me and i would go to my room crying and sometimes screaming. ever since I've had problems sleeping. they would say i had problems waking up because i would often go to class late but now as an adult it's really insomnia.

    I have watched this video multiple times, but only now hear the part about the severe birth trauma causing insomnia in babies. My parents always have the wildest stories about my birth, that always keep changing, plus I did have insomnia as a baby. I wonder what happened then... This is hugely important information, since I want to become a sleep coach/therapist in combination with Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation), lucid dreaming therapy, and several Shadow Work specialties that can be used to create and improve dialogue with the subconscious

  • @dam6732
    @dam6732 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I propably don't have insomnia, but I go to sleep only each other night. I feel enough energy to be awake the other nights and I enjoy that I have time just for myself to do things I am passionate about without being interrupted and limited by timetable of society around, but I am not sure if it's good for my health to get only one (8 hours long) session of sleep during every 48 hours. When I try to go to sleep at those nights when I am 'not supposed to sleep', my mind is always producing new ideas that are keeping me awake and motivating me to get out of bed and do something productive and invest some energy in my hobbies, so I end up having another all nighter. But when I go to sleep after those cca 40 hours of being awake I can fall asleep really well. I guess it is because I don't have really exhausting everyday lifestyle and I don't get that energy deficit as often as mediocre person. Also I can't really think of any contradictions that I may experience within myself, so there is no conflict at all that could cause me to not want to sleep at some nights. It's more like I am too motivated to staying awake and I don't really feel any pressure or reason to go to sleep every single night.
    I just want to know whether I should keep maintaining my sleep schedule or if it's harmful to my health or something to be regularly awake for that long?
    Thanks in advance for any kind of advice or answer.
    Also I can't speak English very well, so sorry for that :-)

      Hi, 3 years late but did you find your answer? Because I’m exactly like this. 8hrs only every 48 hrs and I’m good. And like you, I also have many hobbies. Also wondering if it’s detrimental to health 😐

  • @Eirliss

    36 hours of staying awake sounds like way too easy... once I haven't slept for 5 days straight. Right now I'm taking prescribed antidepressants, they seemed to work at first, but now I can barely get 1 hour of sleep per night. I've been living like this for more than a year now. I'm absolutely devastated and I think I'm gonna go insane soon 😭 I've had almost 10 therapy sessions , but they don't help me with sleep at all.

    Write on a pen & paper the conflict between your essence and your temporal self. Think or say or write or do anything that will stop this tug of war.
    Drastic step- wake up for 36 hours and then keep an alarm and go to sleep at that exact time every single day.
    Meditate.
    Positive spiral. Think obsessive about something positively.
    Avoid blue lights. no electronic ritual.
    Bedtime ritual for sleeping and relaxation.
    Why do I want to sleep? And try to achieve that through any means other than sleep.

    I have insomnia once I stayed up for a little over 40 days without a ounce of sleep. I had the hospital knock me out and for 3 days I slept It still wasn't easy after that but I finally worked my way in sleeping for long periods.

      Did you go to the hospital and told them you couldn’t sleep and they actually helped you ‘ didn’t just tell you to get out & stop wasting their time? I’d like to visit the Dr. you saw there. I have gone 10 days without a second of sleep & then only slept for an hr or so. It’s pure hell.

      I had dreadful insomnia for 9 months, the only method I could sleep was by taking medications. Finally my physician recommended this sleep program *4InsomniaCure. Com* . I was sleeping like a baby by week Five. People who have suffered from insomnia for quite a long time must also try this. My sleep was brought back on track!?

    However I do like her explaination I suffered from positive insomnia it was so shitty mother Mary answered my prayer making it clear I had overstimulated my self and needing to be calm however no matter how much I meditate on breathing it didn’t work praying my rosary put me to sleep! No insomniac can survive the rosary

    Some nice ideas..about getting to the 'real you' in sleep, and that sounds comforting!
    I find though that i sleep better the closer i get to the two combining EXCEPT in a recent situation where I knew I was in love with someone, and they were with me, but the age difference was large. I can remember being her age. She cant remember being my age. I can easily imagine we are similar in sleep. The incompatibility dissolved in my sleep. We didnt bridge the gap in real life.

      This sleep plan *4InsomniaCure. Com* actually works. I began suffering from sleeping disorders at a very young age. Of all the medications I have used, this plan is the only one that successfully broke the cycle of my insomnia. I did everything this guideline suggests and sleep better than I ever have.?

    (quality) sleep is a serious issue and not something to be comical about. It turns out many accidents in traffic are due to sleep deficiency which leads to reduced alert focus. Also prolonged exposure to negative stress without taking adequate time to relax and recover can cause the program of the sympathic nervous system to go in overdrive (i.e. being in nonstop survival mode) which results in not being able to wind down at the end of the day. The negative effects of stress, when untreated, will accumulate in the system and there's where the symptoms of ill health manifest, you can't sleep for instance. Also, blue lights of electronic devices can supress melatonin production at night fooling the pineal gland into thinking it's still daytime. Certain apps like f.lux can automatically change the radiation of your mobile devices into red light, which is more pleasurable to the eyes in the evening (it's not natural (read: confusing) to be exposed to bright lights in the evening as if you were looking into the sunlight). Therefore it's highly *recommended* to turn off all or as much electronic devices at night as possible, sleep in complete darkness, stay away from sugar, coffee, tea containing teine, alcohol in the evening to enjoy a more deeply, restful, recuperative sleep. And, try to meditate a few minutes before bedtime. This habit can do wonders for your night rest, making you feel more recuperated in the morning. Soundhealing applications for sleep (Delta brainwaves frequencies) can assist the brain in falling asleep, also. 😴
    This is a summary of what Teal more or less says before I pressed play. One of the most important keys is sleep hygiene.😉

    im a posative ansomniac , my method was to meditate an hour befor bed , eventually i began an hour right after i woke up and an hour round noon some times eventually i stopped loosing consiousness going into dreams , then the dreams became lusid dreams then they became out of body expirence, back when i was meditating that often i stopped loosing consiousness while i let my body sleep while i had astral projections all night only to open my eyes the second i was pulled back returning the last time of the night, later i baught a book written by a monk called "dream yoga" and with in it he explained this is were the origin of the saying being awake ment , the yogis / monks who meditated enough never lost thier awake consiousnesses when going threw the night not once , for this reason all your days and nights and travels all fuze into this life long day of endless wakingness..... tho at the time i never heard of it , so it was so shocking not to mention how all the astral travels were making it hard to relate to others once i never slept any more it was to much to handle scocially (at the time) so i stpped meditating like that any more a long time ago but i seek to return to it very soon , it was the most phenominal expirence of my life .... shocking really but i really do wish every one would get to experience what being awake truly is

    sometimes like last night Im fighting with my mind saying ( I don't want to see any dream (wanting to see just to see whats going on with my soul))
    I actually believing what I tell to myself and end up seeing a dream.
    the problem is that in my daylife happens in every cortch my mind things of
    (ex. he will move to the left, decide that he will move to the left and ends up moving to the right)
    that is what im feeling like curse going against my desires.
    and as a human I just cannot think of anything surrounds me

      Since I started out adulthood, I couldn`t get enough rest. I am on day 7 of this sleep plan *4InsomniaCure. Com* and already feel better. I slept for 8 hours last night, for the very first time in ages. This is a extremely helpful plan. I read about the causes of insomnia and various ways to treat it. So you can pick what works for you.
