    dude you guys killed it. I was burnt out on this TH-cam trend of cheap in your shop video that everyone feels like they must do. And they do and the tips and tools lack luster. You all brought up some legit in the shop stuff like a whole lot of bang for the buck stuff. Things I already do and 100%% agree and if I ever find myself using a light wood I'll be scooping up some of that finish. keep killing it cause you're absolutely one the best wood working channel. Almost makes me wanna turn on my camera.

    Milescraft Grabber Plus is essentially the same thing but in my opinion better and only $17-20. So that’s within your $25 limit. :)

    All good and I’ll probably get the starret awl because I like nice things but the Neico spring awl is a go to for me as its one handed operation. As has been suggested Pica pencils, I have a bunch (because, like all small items, I misplace them). Blackwing pencils are my favorite (probably most of $25 for a box but worth it) and I have an electric pencil sharpener (doesn’t get lost and no excuse not to keep a fine point on the Blackwing). Fiberglass resin was the “new idea” for me. Thank-you for another great video.

    Just a touch over $25 but the big kids blocks detail sanding kit is killer. We use them on just about every job.

    Great info as always but.. the push blocks shouldn't set off a Sawstop because the magnets should be isolated by the plastic in the handles. And, the polyester resin won't stick to epoxy resins but epoxy resin will stick to polyester resin. Just keep that in mind if you go to touch up your next river table : (

    Strong recommendations, going on an Amazon shopping spree tonight. Also gotta know since it’s the second video I’ve seen including a Bourbon Moth joke/reference…am I picking up on some kind of East Coast/West Coast rap style rivalry but between TH-cam woodworkers? Much respect for both channels so just curious. Keep the videos coming!

    You had my attention until the woman wearing a Yankees hat at the end 😂. The dollar store is great for shop supplies i.e. rags and scotch brite pads, painting supplies like tape and chip brushes. If I am going to throw a brush away, might as well cost a dollar. Hell a giant dustpan cost a buck. Just a bit of financial savings that people over spend now.

    Can’t you test sawstops without actually cutting things? I’m nearly certain there’s a setting on the saw so you can test whether a specific material will trip the brake or not.

    Loved the video! You may have saved me a couple of bucks. My 12 year old son is building an electric bass guitar and has chosen a section of a slab for the character, meaning I’m gonna have to buy him some epoxy. The fiber resin is new to me. Would this work for filling a knot hole in a guitar body?

    • @WilliamDouglasCo
      @WilliamDouglasCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The resin works great for anything relatively small. Knots and checks are fine. Just doesnt work well for large cavities. Thanks for watching!

    Nice info but I don’t like the trend of Will going from publishing videos with no ads (or maybe just one at the beginning) to now publishing ads with few snippets of a video here and there ☹️
    Yes the number of ads interrupting the flow of the video is simply 🤢🤮

    • @WilliamDouglasCo
      @WilliamDouglasCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely feel ya. TH-cam decides how many ads to give you based on how many you’ve watched before the video starts. Since this video was longer than 8 mins it gets 2 ads. Most of my videos are under 8 mins.
      Still.. with ads, i am not making enough money to even break even on the production of my videos so i DO appreciate you watching them.

    • @alessandrosuppini943
      @alessandrosuppini943 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WilliamDouglasCo Just for your info there were 6 ads in total, 3 groups with two ads each and they were the type you cannot skip after 5 sec, you need to endure the whole thing before you can continue watching, really bad!!
