And here we go again. This is the reason I just want more content from you folks. The honest, Unedited approach that is also unapologetic is what allows people to do something new and be the inspiration that people are going to want to look up too and it is not always about how many people see it( although i am sure that helps) it is about who sees it. The words and art that you share will have much more of a lasting imprint then a thumbs up ever will.
    I respect the process👊🏾don’t stop

This is good. I watch your channel because you guys are artists. I don’t come here for 5 tips or to learn how to build a jig. Thank you for sharing your work with us.

Will, you are so much more than a craftsman. You outlook on the craft is what sets you apart. I wish I could have met a guy like you 35 years ago, it would have changed my life path drastically. Keep up the great work brother!

one of the greatest woodworkers that ever lived told me back in college that you never sketch with an eraser because you never know when a line will give you inspiration, and to this day that is how I design

WD - truly appreciate you dropping this video. I’ve seen them all, and this one is my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching you build stuff as you’re an incredible talent, but your creativity, vision, and philosophy is what really inspire me. Thank you for sharing.

This channel is magical and rich with guidance!!i just discovered ut today and im binge watching
To me what he offers us not unlike Rob Cosman or whoever is not so much the hands on(im sure he will in that dept as well but....)instead it seems like he wants all of our businesses and woodworking dreams to flourish!!!hard to explain exactly what im tryjng to say here.
After the first video i found myself reaching for my wallet to donate to his patreon or merchandise,i felt amd feel compelled to help him while he helps all of us.this is the first time ive ever affected like this!i think i may have stumbled on the right one!!!

@@WilliamDouglasCo I’ll be doing a job and people will ask “hey do you do drywall? or hey can you hang this door for me? Do you do epoxy river tables?” I need to just have a style and specialize in that. I like what you said about timeless design and building things to last for generations, it’s a great standard to work to and really guides the design process.

I was inspired by the Kodee-Three and I'm just now gaining a love for design (that I didn't think I had) but I would consider myself an almost middle-aged amateur. I don't know of all the designers you mentioned and maybe I should, maybe I will at some point, get to know them, but I want to start by just figuring out where my current thoughts and influence take me from what's in my head already up until now. You have been an inspiration though Will and I have come up with a chair design taking inspiration from you. I'll tag you someday on IG cause I'd like to get your opinion when it's fully complete. I took your 12 degree angle method for seat and back rest with a twist and ran with the rest on my own. Great video and great suggestions here. Thank you.

Love what you had to say on mmaking a challenge. I try that on most prjects. Try that new thing, technique, or tool. And take some risks. Sometimes it results in failure, sometimes it comes out fine and sanding will fix it. But a lot of the time it turns out better than expaected, and maybe even better than I dreamed, because I had to change direction to make whatever that thing is I'm doing work. I LOVE woodworking for that reason. You can draw inspeation, see how you can do it different or better, or just make something you have never seen before. All roads lead to eventual sucess if you keep trying, and have a good lumber stack to boot! LOL Thank you for the awsome video. Nice to see that the process is simular probably in all of us who do this as a trade or hobby that are looking for the best quality. :)
