    Hi using the technique showed is it possible to avoid the 3D roughing toolpath all together saving time many thanks

      I would not avoid a roughthing cut as you need to obtain a finishing cut to smooth out the imperfections but I'm a bit confused to what cut he used in his toolpath
      Maybe I didn't understand

    Hi Roger
    I know you gave a cutting channel to get in deep as to not burn or break your cutter
    But for practice wouldn't it be good to show how you could do that in a tool path before commencing to the full roughing cut or was it a finishing cut. As a bit confused
    Anyway thank you for showing your method
    I noticed the nice shine on the material after cutting
    What brand of cutter did you and the type you use and speeds and feed.
