Which extension should I use when exporting from ArtCam to Mach 3 if I'd like to export a cylinder (fourth axis)? I've never worked with a cylinder before, and in my previous work I usually went with Mach2 mm(.cnc) extension. Didn't work this time, though. Also, how does the cylinder appear in Mach3 window? As a 3D or as a flat surface?

Have you heard anything about Onefinity cnc machines and what are your thoughts on the Onefinity Journeyman X-50?

Sir you did x and y zero set but when you use z zero tool device you didn't use z zero in mach3 so z zero required after z zero tool device,or not required z zero after detect tool by tool device

I can't get the mach3 breakout board to work on windows 7 or windows 10. I have the file in the right place and still no luck.

    great video's
but as a newbie to CNC and mach3 im finding im getting into al sorts of problems, I cant get my soft limits to function don't matter where i Zero machine coordinates.
when I setup my spindle/cutter to the top of the job and set work coordinates and start it the, the cutting seems to do it above he job,
im using Free mill within Visial Cad for cam as cant get my head around Fusion 360
Also when I set machine coordinates they tend to change when I set the job coordinates, its lkethey both change together.
As for my job, it tends to be showing on mach3 around the wrong way to, meaning the job is facing south (Y) instead of North (Y)
Oh my machine is a 3040 800w Vfd USB using a RNRmotion eco v2 controller.
Basically I would love to know what the correct settings in the configs that works for a Cncest 3040 or the 4060 as same components just bigger,
I guess their has been 1000's of these machines sold, and cant beleive all are up and running Asap,
    Any tips would be wonderful,

I bought an old intelitec cnc router from a school. It is from 2003 and all the electronics are very out of date. Do you recommend closed loop or open loop stepper motors?

It is for hobby use. Not production.
