What a beautiful & enchanting village. I love how time seems to stand still for a lot of places in the UK. Thank you for letting us share in your adventures. It's always a treat!❤
Hi Simon and Will, it certainly is a very popular and busy little place you were lucky to get a parking spot on the car park. We'd just like to thank you for sharing your holiday in Wales with us, it's bought back so many memories of our many visits there, in fact we've just got back from a couple of nights in Llandudno. Thanks again and all the best to you both.
Thank you for watching and all your comments. It was a wonderful trip and it’s been great sharing the history and ideas for places to go with everyone.
I stayed here for three days in 2012 on a 39 day self driving holiday from Australia 🇦🇺 (and no! I didn’t drive all the way from Australia), and was one of my favourite places I visited in my UK Sojourn.
Incredible places where time has stood still, the landscapes and nature take your breath away, thank you for taking us with you on this wonderful journey, as always it is a delight!
Wonderful video as always ❤ enjoyed watching. Waterfall, station & the scenery is so beautiful 😍 i like how perfectly you come up with awesome stuff like narration, editing & visualization, with lots of love and support 😊
Loved these videos! Just visited north Wales from oversees last summer and did many of the same things that you had done! This brought back great memories, thank-you. Looks like you had had the same weather we did, also faced a cloud covered Yr Wyddfa (once called Snowdon) but everything was wonderful and wouldn't change a thing.
Stone buildings, stone bridge, and so many glorious trees! That Pub looks terrific. I would pass on the Zip Line, but those the Swallow waterfall is glorious. I'm sure you could just watch it for hours. Hope you chaps are well. Busy spring here in SoCAL, but still make time to see where you have been. :)
I wish we could have popped into the pub, but time was short and we needed to complete the 4 hour drive home! All good here, hoping the weather picks up the rain and winds have been a real pain for filming recently.
I hitch hiked to Betws y coed from north east Wales to get to Snowdon. Extremely pretty place but I had my eyes set on the mountain. Years later I did that zip line. It was most exhilarating. Even more than rock climbing.
Loved Every Single Part of this Series. It was Spectacular & Magical Places. But The Waterfall in this One... OMG!!! Thank You Memory Seekers 💚 You Make our Lives Beautiful
The way you describe each and every place with the minute details is the best part of your videos. It makes the watching experience more mesmerizing and beautiful.
So love the village, yes I could live there quite happily but total no to the zip line lol. Thank you for taking me on a trip to a beautiful part of Wales. The history must be amazing. =-)
Beautiful images of a beautiful environment. I can't count your films anymore, but they are all worth seeing. Always calm and correct images with excellent commentary. Thanks again for this film!
The whole series was wonderful and the beauty of the various places is beyond my skill to describe. The zipline experience had me staring at the screen in disbelief, what a thrill it must be. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Hi Simon & Will, what a lovely village and that has to be one of the nicest train station buildings around. Might give the zip wire a miss as it's slightly too high!
Nice post, my first ever holiday was camping, aged 12 on a School trip, map reading, orienteering and climbing around that area, we set up camp about 500 yards upsream of the falls which was our base for a week, went swimming in the river every single day and caught fish for dinner, we also walked up Snowden and scrambled the North Face of Tryfan all back in 1965. Took my 45 year old nephew up the same route of Tryfan 3 years ago, he had to change his underwear at the top but I enjoyed the trip again. Continue to visit the area when I can or if I have a new girlfriend to impress....perhaps I should be looking, the current one has seen it, with me.
We have really enjoyed your series on North Wales, we visited at Easter for a few days and visited some of the sane places. Hope you are both well and had a good weekend 😊 Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕
I was there the day Lady Di died. I will never ever forget the sombre mood of the people there. People were just milling around in total silence. It was surreal.
Distinctive content and wonderful media work, as I work for government television and I know how much effort goes into producing a film like this. I hope that the distance from London is always specified. Your friend is from Saudi Arabia
We've been there several times now in February with the combination. We always spent a few days hiking there. A Wonderful area. Instead of walking between the road and the river, you can also take the footpath on the right-hand side of the river.
Royal oak my favourite hotel of all times have stayed on a nimber of occasions food to die for i love Betwsy y coed having lived in north wales for a time in the 60s its my go to place for a break
MY MOM WORKED IN 'THE SWALLOW FALLS HOTEL ,'' IN THE 1930'S. AS A FAMILY, WE ALL VISITED THERE IN THE LATE 1950'S, DURING A TOUR OF NORTH WALES. THE SWALLOW FALLS WERE MUCH WILDER THEN, AFTER HEAVY RAIN. SCARY IN FACT.
We need to make sure that absolutely 'none' of this, or other natural beautiful places in our country are put under the swords of tyrant governing! Our Home, our Land, our Wales..❤🏴🏴
My father was born here 1918, mum was from Liverpool, they came to South Australia 1951 & my son & I want to come & visit, neither have been yet but maybe next year, I have an old photo of my father & his brother with their mum outside a tavern they used to run in the 1920-30's My father passed in 1975 & I did not get to ask much about his home town
I just got back from a short break in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey and we had planned to take a detour through this place on the way home but unfortunately it was torrential rain so we stayed on the A55. 300 miles in that weather was enough for one day. Maybe next time ❤

Hope we stirred the memories, a typical week of weather in Wales. We lucky to have some days of sun.

Well that was a thrill!!!! Beautiful thanks for starting my Saturday with such a trip. Hugs and blessings.

Years later I did that zip line. It was most exhilarating. Even more than rock climbing.
We certainly enjoyed the wild feeling of flying, like nothing we had felt before!

Yes the falls are very impressive. There are a number of them in Wales. We still need to search out more!
Flying back to the Netherlands tonight.

It certainly was wonderful, just a bit busy at times, but then everyone wants to visit because of its beauty so that is to be expected.

Really, people jump it for fun!

Yes, it was a very mixed week with the weather but that is not unusual.

shame, welsh weather for you!
@@MemorySeekers I'll be back - don't mind a bit of rain - just as long as not bucketing down. Wales is lovely in any weather. 😃
I’ve been there twice. It is lovely.
Hello👍
👍
🤩🖐👍⚘⚘⚘
Did you 2 guys do the zip line also as you didn't say if you did or not.
You might have missed it, we said we did it in 2017, this was footage from then. We didn’t do it this time round as we needed to drive home that day.
Where there many yers ago
Betws-y-coed, lle gorau erioed
Dissapointed you didn't visit the 'Ugliest House'..😒
So are we, next time!
可怕的溜索😨
That zip-wire! Erm..No thanks!😮😮🤣🤣I think a ride on a steam train is more my style!
Feel you never really got it... sorry.
It's a nice little village but it's boring. There is nothing there.
Thank you for your opinion.
