@@Ducatiratinot sure what you mean? 🤔 He was only unavailable for 1 game this year due to injury and played 15 games. Injury is no longer the problem for him, it is purely form and consistency.
@MegaHannaz well it seems to me , I had a back injury, and play with my head , I see that in Raz , I think he's a natch , and this preseason I hope he find the self belief I think he is maybe unaware of , but at the end of the day Carlton must do what best for Carlton. That's all I can say
Doc will go on his own terms when he is ready. We have a couple of NGA prospects coming though and SDK is coming out of contract. SO potentially will need to make three list spots available.
Can we keep certain players no on the list, but top up magoos , some would be so good for a kid all the kids , like I'd love Kade Simpson in the magoos pushing up GO BLUES RARARA
G'day Tez, part 3 getting to the one year extenstions now isn't it. Newman has been consistent in all aspects, on and off the park if he had been a bit younger longer contract easy but at this point one with an option for two depending on what happens this year. Saying that he's still one of our best six players as it stands now. Haynes will be one till he isn't, beleave that's understood by all parties, if we can get two or three years good consistant senior football from him we should be happy. Fantasia is walking the football tightrope with age and form, one year at a time for me. Like you mate don't know anything about Monahan other than he's one of the irish boys, obviously looked at in development sense by club, with you mate one year at a time for the moment. Doc, so much more to the club than games pocession tally's, two years for me, one for his football and another one for being Doc. TDK, with you mate five years minimum, be mad to take less in his position, will be offered longer and more money by others if it goes all the way, hoping the lure of the boys he's played with all these years will negate the value of bigger offers. We can't allow ourselves to fall for the TDK or bust mentality, fair price within our scope without ruining our future and if he goes, as you say, least we'll get something reasonable for it. He will be a champion hopefully with us but in the end how many out and out champions retire never playing in a grand final let alone win one. Yes you need champions to win one but they don't garrantee one so blue baggers be strong and fair but with an eye on the future health of the team. Well mate think I've rambled enough, Go Tez Go Blues
We off loaded 1.5 million+ in the salary cap and also dont need to fork out 1 million for Houston if we got him. There should be plenty of room in the cap to reward players and buy more witches hats
@ I had a conversation with a Carlton supporter who told me why he thought Kennedy and Owies were let go by the Club. I am still finding it hard to believe the reasons but if they are true, then our club is not a professionally run sporting organisation committed to transparency and winning GFs - more like a local chook raffle. We will move on with the cattle we have. I hope to attend the Western Bulldogs AGM to be held at the Whitten Oval on the 18th December 2024. They are not “scared of their membership base” like the Blues who have shifted the AGM just before the start of the 2025 season (late Jan or early Feb).
Fantasia cost us Owies for nothing piss him off seriously I am sick of boss favourites getting a game every game fantasia played this year could of been given to Moir seriously wtf
@PetraKann Only to those guys over 30. If they perform well then that's fantastic and you give them another year. If they don't perform or spend most of their time out injured, then you have a conversation at the end of the year and see where that leads. You may have to move them on and free up a list spot.
@ How did you arrive at this critical age threshold of 1,560 weeks? Why didn’t you set the bar at 348 months or even 11,680 days? We could end up punishing a 31 year old pensioner and letting off a 29 year old whipper snapper Scott-Free. We need members to vote on this at the next AGM
@@PetraKann You seem to think that I am trying to punish these guys Petra. It is just my opinion. Please don't take this as a personal blight on anyone. Do you think they should get a long-term contract at 30? If you do, that's fine, that's your opinion. I would have kept every player that we delisted this year, that's just my opinion. I understand that you can't do that because the club has to evolve etc. Can I ask why you think 1 year isn't enough? Do you think I am being discriminatory?
@@PetraKann It also doesn't mean the younger guys should get long term deals only. Maybe we should give 1 year deals for everyone, and base the next contract on performance if they deserve it.
Newman & Haynes 1 year. Fantasia will be cut if he repeats 2024. Doc is a year by year now. We love him, but we cannot carry a list of physically susceptible players. I don't have Doc in our best 22. We have to find the cash for TDK
Doc is tough as nails. Played with a dislocated shoulder in that semi final in 23 don't forget. 1 year for mine.
Orazio does nothing for me so unless he does something miraculous in 2025, I wouldn’t be extending his contract at all
@@Olstein Yup , put up time , I think he needs to get his body right, so it's now or never . R
