    JSOS will be an interesting and will all depend on how he’s used. I would love for him to have a great comeback year and secure another deal.
    Motlop should’ve been traded this year instead of Owies and Kennedy.

    Wouldn’t mind seeing Jack go down back with a switch into forward when needed.

      Agree... potentially switching forward and back with Kemp based on matchups...

    Jsos last full game 3 Brownlow votes and 10 AFL Coaches votes 4.1 goals whilst interchanging with TDK in ruck. How quickly we forget. Must get 2 to 3 years.

      lost a lot of time and a major injury since then - you don't bounce back from that and given his age, lack of pace and Carltons (apparent) new direction; things are against him. I hope he proves me wrong and plays a blinder but I think '25 will be JSos' last year in the dark navy and Doc's final year.

      Are you on something do you masturbate watching him. Their be 4 minimum gone That low probably more his off contract so he is in trouble. Their no way he will be on list if he doesn't play most games. He is coming from a knee injury also comes out of contact same year as many above him. Fantasia and him would be first 2 on list followed by Cincotta then we would be thinking Lord, Wilson and Lemmy are not progressing. His only chance is players retiring or asking a trade, Silvagni best chance is getting better deal elsewhere just like Kennedy and Owies. The days of clubs being nice are over tough decision need to be made. Do you forget last year he nearly exit we only was giving him 1 year deal with a possible second. He only got 2 years a important player that age would have got 4 years

    I hope Lemmey gets some games in the 1s. As you say Terry he could give a chance to rest one of the other big boys. That's what depth is all about and how the side gets better.

  • @anthonypage2531
    @anthonypage2531 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Really want to see some of the newer recruits getting games, again for depth reasons. It rests other players and takes a load off the injury toll. Just need to be careful though, that it doesn't impact winning games of footy.

      @craigbounds1968 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, it's a balancing act.. agree we need to see what Wilson and Lemmey can do (if their VFL form warrants it), plus more senior game time for Moir, Binns, and Lord.... plus Cowan has to play every week IMO

    Agree that Hewett should be a 2-year extension. Unless they decide they want to blow it all up and go with speedy kids with smaller bodies, to support Cripps and Walsh, of course. Probably only a flag will stop that happening. If McGovern doesn't play at least 15 games there's no way we're keeping him.
    Once you're done with the players, can we have something about the coaching staff and who will be kept around depending on performance in 2025?

    I really like the idea of jsos being Weiterings right hand man in defence
    He’s tall enough and strong enough, he is a real footballer and can read the play well
    Kemp to be third tall forward

    G'day Tez, bit slack tuning in last couple of days sorting crissy decorations, but I'm back on your train mate. Basicly can't disagree with your assessments, Hewet as you said, club made their choice, consistent, not injury prones, his age a two year extenstion. Lemmy obviously behind Mior in pecking order, one of our developments spots still I reckon, one maybe two, proably two.Jack, as you say, hard one. This year make or break I reckon, wasn't a walk up start in seniors before the knee, agian you nailed it mate, not going to be settled till late in the year, so many ifs and maybes with him, can't say he'll be signed so can't put a length to it. Motlop, again next year very important, lost a lot of credit with the fans this year, not sure how much within the club itself, his young has talent and you could argue the reasons why this year was a bust hence we come back to next seasons importance. If he shows even a bit I'm with you 2 years. Gov required at moment and can't see that changing in 12 months, 2 years extenstion. All this expectation could change dramatically if the year gos as bad as it finished you know us mate grad the babie4s so they don't get thrown out with the bath water. GoTez, Go Blues

    1 -2 years for Mitch (provided he plays 20 + games) 2 - 3 for George (outstanding year, Carltons 2nd best performer) JSoS will go the way of Owies, Martin & Kennedy I feel. I can't see him coming back from the injury and performing at a top level. Love to see him do it, though. He would need 18+ games with a strong contribution throughout. His pace is a worry and it looks like - given the delistings etc - Carlton has identified pace as a concern, then JSoS might be doing Dear Old Dad at the end of '25. I don't rate Motlop at all, same basket as Fantasia & Durdin. Everyone of his 4 seasons he has averaged the same amount of disposals per game. That won't change. He's a lazy footballer, doesn't/won't work hard for the pill. Durdin does work hard for it but his size limits his effectiveness - and we won't start on Fantasia (BUT I WILL SAY, THE MEMBERSHIP NEEDS AN EXPLANATION FROM THE COACH FOR CONTINUALLY PLAYING HIM - after all we are paying their wages!) Give Mots chance for sure but if he is still avg. 7 - 8 disposals a game after 3 games back to the VFL - then send him on his way at the end of the year. I feel we have better play makers than Mots coming through.

      Someone here that can see trends and logic. It was hard too see one of my favourites Kennedy go but it the correct decision same as Owies. I just wish Kennedy got to 100. The club needed speed and play guys like Moir. Silvagni comes off contact in a year many of the players in 22 are. I can Silvagni going maybe even Pitto asking for a trade if he is not happy playing in the 2 that if we not playing the 2 Rucks and if one of Ruck in 2 is ready.

    Motlop kicking 30 goals next year at best, give me some of what you’re on. Too slow, too small, too weak. I just can’t see him having much impact with even more reliance on him less Owies. He was lost this season and better fire bext season. 15 goals and forward pressure would be a great return for season 25

      Hopefully, 2025 is the year Mots finally hits his straps... really need to see better defensive efforts. If he can't become the full package in 2025, his regular appearances in the senior team will come to an end...

      So no one departing list jack struggled getting 2 years in a year that had a weaker list of delist. The days of soft are over .Jack has to becomes a near best and fairest like Newman or his battle is a hard one if he not playing majority . I didn't rate Fantasia but i bet Voss chooses him up forward to Jack.

    we should not renew JSOS. We are clouded by emotions. Facts are he is a back up utility to TDK and Pittonet. He is one paced and fails to score forward. He is a bad set shot. Lemmey should be ahead of JSOS. JSOS would get a 3th rounder. Hewitt gets 2 years. Wilson the same. Lemmey 1 year.
