    I was hoping that they grabbed midfielders with 7 and 8 but if they traded back with the gaints, I hope they get a key forward. I think 6 of the players they delisted/lost were key position players. With Cole, if they got Shanahan, that would be awesome.

    I’m not a St Kilda fan but I will give you a name linked to St Kilda , Melbourne and Richmond and that’s Lindsay St Kilda like him a lot as do Melbourne and Richmond I would not be surprised by Smillie and Lindsay going 7 and 8 selections. You would think St Kilda would look at tall backs as well ? Expect Tauru to be gone by North. Travagalia is a little undersized for a key tall so Trainor would be look 👀 at ? I feel like its more like Langford if Melbourne don’t get him at pick 5 ? Or Smillie and Lindsay and if Jagga Smith slides? You would think St Kilda would looking at that as well ? Interesting what St Kilda will like ? With what’s available on Draft Night ?

      Really love Lindsay but pick 8 is a bit overs considering we could probably grab him with a pick in teens. Would be much more likely to trade pick 8 to a team like GWS for 15 and 16 with the hopes of grabbing Lindsay and a Key position prospect. Josh Smillie, Xavier Lindsay and either Jobe Shanahan or Whitlock brother could be great for us

    We should get Will Hayes ,Claremont winger pick 32

      32 would most likely be overs for Hayes, potentially at 47 but currently he is ranked as my 53rd best prospect

    You guys will pounce on FOS , Im sure he will be there at pick 7 or 7. Your pick will be for sure murphy reid. stephen silvagni loves those type of players. for instance paddy dow pick 3 for carlton and where is he now? Good luck guys ur gunna need it with stephen silvagni picking for ya.

      From all reports it seems to be a race between FOS and Lalor for pick 1 to Richmond, with Richmond having two picks before us I’d say there’s only a 1% chance we can grab him at 7 or 8. I would love us to trade up and grab him if Richmond take Lalor at pick 1 however. With Reid we will most likely grab 2 of the 3 I included in the video as while I think Reid is a good player we have really been focussing on speed through the draft and Reid just doesn’t have that. As for the good luck however think we had some pretty luck last year with the draft 😂

      Nah this is nonsense, FOS won't make it past Carlton at 3.

    Heard saints really love Xavier Lindsey and will take him with 8 most likely!

    • @Saints_Nation
      @Saints_Nation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I rate Lindsey as a prospect but 8 is probably overs for him. Potentially we trade back in with our future first to grab him or even trade back from 8 into 2 picks in the teens

    Travaglia was one of the slowest at the combine, not fastest.

      Travaglia came second overall in the 2km time trial at 6 minutes and 13 seconds.

    Richmond will surely take Armstrong before pick 7

    • @Saints_Nation
      @Saints_Nation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Would be surprised if they didn’t take 2 mids with their first 2 picks, some really great key position players between 20 and 30

      @Saints_Nation I do think they're even more desperate for key forwards than us (us being the Saints)

    • @BurningMad
      @BurningMad 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why? No other team before pick 10 needs a key forward except North and they're not taking him at 2. Melbourne have drafted a heap of key forwards in recent years and need midfielders. Richmond can afford to wait until pick 10 for Armstrong.

    • @Saints_Nation
      @Saints_Nation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hard to say Melbourne don't need a key forward this year, Matthew Jefferson is in my eyes the only KEY forward they have drafted in recent years since Van Rooyen is only 193cm and Fritsch is 188cm. Tom Fullarton is 200cm but you are not going to skip out on the best Key Forward in the draft because you have Tom Fullarton on your list. They have 5 and 9 so its very likely they take a mid along with Armstrong so i find it unlikely he would fall to pick 10. Richmond most likely walk away with a Jobe Shanahan if they are keen on drafting a forward with their third pick but can easily walk away with both the Whitlock twins or Jonty Faull with their late picks.

    I feel for the players the Club draft as will never hold the Cup, just saying :}

    • @Saints_Nation
      @Saints_Nation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Look you can say that all you want 1 cup in 151 years but you can not doubt the young core that is growing at this club. Players like Darcy Wilson, Mattaes Phillipou, , Mitch Owens, Marcus Windhager and Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera are the names that most AFL fans will know already and every name there is 21 years old or younger, adding to that with 2 top 10 picks this year its hard to say we aren't building a nice young core.
