Terry no please Saad can’t be our lock down small defender we must free him up he’s so dangerous with that beautiful penetrating kick, good decisions and run.
Now we go back to why, why didn't you take Houston? He kicks twice as far as Adam at 85 percent and his decision making is elite. He can also lockdown if needed. Just imagine Adam one side, Dan the other.....😮
@@deanhall6045 Locking the dollars up with TDK is my theory. Personally I think it’s a mistake we don’t need to pay ruckman big dollars and we are paying two.
@@kirkmayer2623 Go a season without a ruckman and you'll change your mind on that mate. It's horrendous. To see your top line centremen get taken out because you can't win a tap, .... It hurts big.TDK has to be worth whatever he can get, he damn good. But you know that. I'm just wondering with 2 Campareoles coming whether you needed so many picks and whether Houston would have been worth one of them. Yes is the correct answer.🍷😁 Good luck at the draft mate, cheers.
@ You have me wrong there bud i know too well the importance of a good solid ruckman who gives consistency over time and during games. We haven’t had it for years and I’ve been screaming from the roof tops. What I don’t believe is having to pay big $$. Look at the injury free service almost every team in the league has except us and we are paying two big $$. If you compare ruck divisions in the league compared to payment we are almost rock bottom. We pay top $$ and have no consistency. Both our ruckman are also susceptible to absolute domination by some ruckman in the league rendering our game plan useless. Ruckman don’t have to be super stars but they must be capable of at least nullifying they can’t be dominated like ours are at times.
I also have concerns on why the umpires decided to allow opposition ruckman to take TDK’s run at the ball off him. All ruckman were walking straight into his run path in the second half of the season. Should have been a free kick every time and the club need to address it with the league before the season starts.
Cooper Lord thinks fast and that is of more importance than running fast. The way he dished out precise handballs to team mates (and usually under pressure) in his couple of AFL games was reminiscent of an experienced Diesel Williams. Yep, so long as his health & form don't drop off I'd back him for a 2 year extension and should he really kick on... 3.
So many guys competing for spots next year, should be interesting. I wonder if there will be more longer term contracts than we'd like just because they can spread the money out and keep annual cost down. Or maybe a bunch of one-year deals/extensions in anticipation of the salary cap going up the following year.
G'Day Tez, with kirkmayer in chat on this,we got to free saad up that's his best. Cerra as you say all about next year getting on park in form, on this year form just the one year but on ability proably 2+. Pomcotta mate give him three, at worst a realiable honest footballer for back up, can cover from back to forward but more he never gives up and you know he'll do what needs on and off the park, need more like him. Billy two on potentail get chance to see him. Love lord calm and clean and looks to have the smarts, two years mate, chance to establish without worrying about contract end of next year again. Agree with you I think they see him getting a place in seniors even with the 3 pick coming in. Good show mate, GoTez, Go Blues.
Really think Billy Wilson needs a run in the AFL side. He came in with massive wrap on how he can run and with a great kick. Could be like Freo's Hayden Young. We haven't even seen him play. I for one, would love to see what he can offer.
Agree Terry re Cerra .. fully fit he’s a jet and is in our best midfield. Cincotta in my humble opinion has been treated very harshly this year. Should not have been dropped for the EF and should be playing more in our midfield with his speed. Wilson has to be hyper developed this year we are desperate for more speed of HB
@@deanmcbeth4140 that makes little sense. You're going into the draft loaded up, you have 2 Campareoles coming, why the hell didn't you fix that problem with Houston? Do you really need 50 first round picks?
Pretty standard with the more established players,as for Lord I’d definitely give him a 2 year deal and I would love it if they gave Wilson a go next year,I’d give him a 1 year deal at this stage,he should get a run on name alone….Billy Wilson
Jack is out of contract at the end of next year. Will be VERY interesting to see how his year plays out. His last contract extension came very late at the end of 23. Maybe, dare I say it, it could be it for him? Personally hope not
Other players from other teams have gone for this path of going to Qatar and there been successful let’s bhope he gets the same outcome I hope so because Adam at his best is good enough!!
I reckon cincotta may be the matt owies of next year.. they wont sign him and theyll see if anyone wants him.. i dont feel that way bout cincotta but i just think its the way it'll go.
i see Kemp taking JSOS role. He plays back and forward. He. needs to work on his kicking. He far better forward craft than JSOS who kicks at least shot per game out of bounce. I see 2 years for Kemp
@BlueAbroad Harry and Cripps give TDK a chop out. I expect Voss will look to play Pitt in tandem with TDK at times. I just think JSOS forward craft is poor. You watch historically. JSOS 4 kicks on goal. 1 out of bounce, 2 behinds and 1 major. He has failed to nail it at 27 years. I say take SOS offer to join Saints
Saad to wing, Motlop as lockdown small defender to learn role and not rely on just talent. Z Williams to actually play as HBF. Hewett as defensive ball retaining forward between onball stints.
@@zigzag8949 the more comments I read, the more I'm convinced you've stuffed up. Houston would have solved almost all of the problems you mob are discussing here. 2 Campareoles coming and like, 50 first round picks but Houston wasn't worth pick 12? Wow.
Very Carltonesque my friend. Like the Blues in their first final in 2023 and the final this year (60/0). Remember, lions 9.6.60 to Carlton 0.0.0 well into the second quarter. I remember and I hope the players never forget it, and redeem themselves
