It really is great to see you in your videos Jennifer. As someone else commented, you really are uplifting! Beautiful shawl! I love the V stitch. I just made my 4th Family Room Throw for one of my grandsons. I had given my middle son the one I made for my mom’s 90th birthday and his oldest son claimed it right away. His middle son wanted one so we took him to Michael’s and let him pick his own colors. He loves it! To be fair I’ll be making his 3rd son one in the near future. He’s will be 3 in October so he’s in no hurry, lol. The other ones are older. So thank you again for that lovely pattern! It’s timeless!💗
Hi Jennifer. I always, always look forward to your videos. I learned crochet from watching TH-cam videos, most of which on your channel. Your voice and step by step tutorials are a true treasure to my ears (and eyes). Thank you for your dedication!
Yes! Here is a video of a similar wrap where I did the tassels at the points. At about 3.5 minutes in I make the tassels. Towards the end around 27.5 minutes in, I attach them to the shawl. It will walk you through step by step. Hope that helps! th-cam.com/video/QboMm_Aa5a8/w-d-xo.html

The written pattern and the video don’t match up. The written pattern doesn’t say to work a v into the end of each row. It says to work a dc in the top of the turning chain. If you follow the written pattern, you end up with straight edges, and not the angle you’d get if you worked a v into each turning ch sp. I just wasted so much time trying to follow the written pattern 🤦🏻♀️
@@fiberfluxI think row 1 is still incorrect. There should be a v st in the last st of the row. It still says to work a dc into the last st of row 1. I switched to working a v st at the end of each row and so far, it seems so be working. The Lion Brand mandala ombré yarn in Serene is making such a pretty shawl for me!
Are you going to make this one? 😍 I just wore mine today and it was so super comfy!
Yes, I am making scarves and shawls for the homeless in my area.
Thank you So much Jennifer for sharing this tutorial. Yours is beautiful. I just started making one.❤

The v stitch is my fav stitch. I love the way it looks. And that it is easy and works up pretty fast.
One of my absolute favorites too!!
What a pretty shawl. I will definitely be making one. I have never tried to crochet a trapezoidal shawl.
Thank you! It was a lot of fun!
The yarn is really pretty. The shawl has a Fall feeling. 🍁🍂Thank you for the video!

There were 14 political commercials in this short video. I will be unsubscribing 😕
That's not her fault. TH-cam do the commercials.

Thank you four pointing that out...fixed! They are both the same now. Sorry for any confusion!
