I've now got my wool 🧡 & I'm following the pattern & used the stitch count for a blanket 🧶 its going well! Woo hoo 🤗 Sending my love & best wishes from England 🥰
I am fairly new at Crochet and this is the most clear tutorial I’ve seen so far thank you so much for taking the time to go through each step. I think I can do this. You are an excellent teacher.❤
I enjoy crocheting so much now! I've made two purses, a shawl, and now I'm going to make this shawl for a friend for Christmas. Your my inspiration for crocheting because it's really simple to follow you. Thank you for sharing these videos because they really help me a lot.
Hi from pakistan. I have been watching your videos since few years. They are very good. Easy to follow and choice of colours is impressive. I have made few scarf following your patterns. They turned out beautiful . Those one is beautiful too, I hope I get to make it in same colour. Keep it up 😊
Thanks so much Jennifer! I have had 1 ball of a discontinued color of pound of love floating around in my stash for a couple of years now that I just didn't know what to do with it. This pattern is perfect! The stitch seems so easy and I just can't wait to work this up and clear that skein of yarn out of my stash! Thanks again!
Its a beauty, Jennifer... I just love Fall! Wish i lived in an area w/true seasons.... Its still in the 100 degree range here!!! Not happy w/heat.. ern n works up fast... great video... ia very easy pattern. I hope we'll get more Halloween tutorials soon!!! Blessings!!! 💞
So far I've done 5 Rows and started back again at 7 pm tonight So had to put it away for the night but it was hard to put down..lol..I got the Rows down pat I just have troubles at the end of the 5 Rows not sure on what to do on that part so I have to go back and wait for that part but so far it's a fun and relaxing Crochet Project and I would like to see Jennifer Crochet a Pocket Shawl!
Lovely video! Thank you for taking the time to show step by step. New sub and learning to crochet. This is helpful and easy to understand. Thank you so much!!
Love the pattern 💜 I grew up with a multi-colored striped afghan at my grandparents house and I've somehow yet to find a shell stitch (or afghan) pattern that is reminiscent of that afghan, until today! I'll have to see if I can find the actual blanket but I'm pretty sure your pattern is exactly the one I was looking for :D The one small complaint is that the edges don't match (one being shelled and one being straight, but I may be able to work something out.. hopefully 😅)
I really like this pattern. I have to confess that it bugs me that the edges don't match. One edge is scalloped and the other is straight. It bugs me on all patterns that are scalloped. I am certainly gonna make this one!
Totally agree with you. It’s all well and good to tell people to “just add a scalloped edge” but newer crocheters don’t find it that simple, and a fair few of the fiber flux projects have a similar issue
@@EAM-o8vI may put in a scalloped edge. It’s easy enough to do but I don’t think it will be staggered like the rest of the shawl. Do I care? No I do not. I’m blessed by this pattern. It’s a learning process. ❤
I want to make this shawl into a blanket with gray yarn and I might make black fringes when I’m done. I want to double the foundation chain count. The correct count would be 146 chain count? 72 x 2 = 144 + 2 = 146 Thank you! 💚
How many chains for a baby blanket! Would this be a nice stitch for one? Do you have another recommendation? I would appreciate your help. I would like to do one in a variegated yarn so I wouldn’t have a lot of tails to hide!
Love the pattern but can you tell us newer crocheters how we can add a scalloped finishing edge as well? I struggle if things don’t match and I don’t trust other crochet “teachers”, only you😂
Jennifer, I was wondering if it is okay to sell products I make from your patterns as long as I give you credit as the original designer. I love your patterns. :)
I think I am going to put scallops on the beginning chain row after I’m done with the shawl. I know they won’t be staggered but they will be scallops with the 7 double crochets. I’ll see how it looks. It can’t hurt to try.😊
I think you may be able to attach yarn at the bottom and put in some scallops. I’m not sure they will line up correctly though. I may give it a try. Or you can finish on an unscalloped row and both ends would match up. I guess it’s just a matter of personal preference.😊
What does multiple of 6+2 mean I keep seeing this but I always just chain like if it says 6 plus 2 I would 8 or 16 etc or 4 +3 I would do 7 or or 14 etc
Why is the bottom of the project always so tight? As if when you finish it will never lay flat. Not sure if I am explaining it right or not. - beginner.
It’s got to do with your tension. Your foundation chain is probably too tight . Sometimes I make the foundation chain extra loose or I go up a size on the crochet hook to help with my stitches being tight . Hope this helps 😊
Come crochet with us! Share your yarn and the color below! 😍
I'm making a scarf with mandala gradient yarn in purple 😊. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I really appreciate it.

Jennifer what u think of men scarf like 12 inches in width and 72 inches in length ❤
That sounds wonderful! 😊

Like she said do a Multiple of 6 plus 2 to get the length that you want….. use your measuring tape
Love the pattern but can you tell us newer crocheters how we can add a scalloped finishing edge as well? I struggle if things don’t match and I don’t trust other crochet “teachers”, only you😂
Can this be done with the new big twist NOVA yarns?
As long as it’s a #4 weight yarn it should work fine. 😊
Can you explain sweater for XL size and
4 to 6 years girls sweater,
Jennifer, I was wondering if it is okay to sell products I make from your patterns as long as I give you credit as the original designer. I love your patterns. :)
What would the yarn be in English terms, double knitting, Aran or Chunky. It doesn't look chunky but you are using a 6mm hook.
I'm also making blanket
Fabulous! 😊
I am 3/4 done. It’s beautiful. Anyone is bothered the two ends are different? I like symmetrical. Any ideas?
I think I am going to put scallops on the beginning chain row after I’m done with the shawl. I know they won’t be staggered but they will be scallops with the 7 double crochets. I’ll see how it looks. It can’t hurt to try.😊
Hi. Is there anyway you can finish the beginning chain to look scalloped like the last row?
I think you may be able to attach yarn at the bottom and put in some scallops. I’m not sure they will line up correctly though. I may give it a try. Or you can finish on an unscalloped row and both ends would match up. I guess it’s just a matter of personal preference.😊
What size is it..?
6.00
21" x 60" is what she said
Can someone explain the repeat pattern at the ends . I get it all but the ends confuse me????
👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very pretty , but I look for warmth no wholes
What does multiple of 6+2 mean I keep seeing this but I always just chain like if it says 6 plus 2 I would 8 or 16 etc or 4 +3 I would do 7 or or 14 etc
It means that you chain a number which is divisible by 6 and then add 2 more at the end.
@@gonasingh5710 so like 48 then add 2 or 240 and add 2 at the end
Why is the bottom of the project always so tight? As if when you finish it will never lay flat. Not sure if I am explaining it right or not. - beginner.
It’s got to do with your tension. Your foundation chain is probably too tight . Sometimes I make the foundation chain extra loose or I go up a size on the crochet hook to help with my stitches being tight . Hope this helps 😊
@@rosamercer4578Great advice. Going up a hook size always helps as does really concentrating when making the chain so it’s loose.😊
I still don't understand the Multiples part
The multiple is 6+2. It means that you chain a number divisible by 6 and then add 2 more at the end.
😘🥰👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🧶❤️😍👍🏼
Too much yakking! Get to the point!!
