The large warehouse unit beside Cammell Laird construction is 2023-24 for Peels Ports and Tranmere Oil was noted as the only objection to development. Wonderful job by the gentleman discussing terminal operations. Great video ⭐⭐⭐👍
They have to, its a top tier comah site, under ISPS security regs with it also being a port. So anyone taking pics , they have to phone the police under operation lightning. It has to be documented for security reasons. So the security guy is just doing his job, if his bosses watched the video and he doesn't follow protocol, then he gets it.

You can fit a blue light on any vehicle. The legislation does not allow you to use it though unless you are an authorised emergency vehicle. Having a blue light fitted to any other vehicle will attract the old bill like flies around a dog turd even if you do not use it.

Just clicked on your site again and very interesting, as i live a mile away, and cycle past this site quite often, always wondered why one tank had a geodasic roof, eg to stop petrol evaporating i know now, also the mersey ferry passenger carrying boat across river goes past the terminal and some huge boats dock there to unload fueloil As for the pipe linking tranmere to Stanlow it used to under the river bed, but burst a few years ago so was relayed slightly inland. Great responce from the security chap and the chap in the overalls,very freindly, and i think youve sold the idea of a drone to one of them, great pictures as well. Thanks.

I really enjoyed that video. We have now all seen the confrontation loads of times, It has taught me how to deal with it when I fly my drone and take street photography so thanks DJ. But the Gentleman that explained the site and process was excellent. It was really interesting I learnt about something I knew nothing about. Great Job! By now companies should re-assess their way of dealing with photography and drone. A bit of friend information a good attitude also lets them assess the situation. Ha I was questioned while drone filming I told them i was from the council and they were planning to tidy up the area i was filming they were delighted! Damn I lied! I ment to add really like this approach from you DJ, Friendly, offering name, youtube channel. If they then react badly on them and makes them look worse than if wound up for video.

The Port police are employees of Peel Holdings and they work in the Port of Liverpool docks (including Wirral docks). They also cover the Manchester Ship Canal. Tranmere oil terminal is owned by EET (formerly ESSAR) and would come under the purview of Merseyside police. The Port police just like the Mersey Tunnels police and the Liverpool anglican cathedral police are all now properly warranted police officers following a " regularisation " process by the Home Office
