Always amazes me the way people get so defensive for a company that would sack them in an instant if it suited them.

They'll fine you if the seal is damaged on a diesel filler cap because "leaks are dangerous for those on 2 wheels" yet that mess in a cycle and footpath and they don't care. It wouldn't surprise me if it's already caused accidents and if they clean it up they may appear to be admitting it's their fault.
The whole site was a hazard and it's a food processing facility. Garbage everywhere, some sort of silo laying on the ground rusting, birds everywhere, and a building missing it's roof. Gross!

Surely spill oil all over the road is illegal? Additionally, oil on the road is a safety hazard and oil should not be put into drains. So this isn't just fly tipping - it's both a danger to the public and bad for the drainage in the area.

Go to Google Street View, take a walk around the area over the road near the Regent's Hotel, the place is a sh1tehold, the muddy pavement crossing is the least of your worries.
@@seabubble5896that's exactly what happens. It's well known and accepted that basically anything goes on Liverpool Dock Road (where this is) so long as you are business. Members of the public however have no rights and is ignored.

I've been working within a food factory grounds recently & they were not even allowed any water whatsoever even rain water to be seen leaving their site, massive fines from SEPA if caught
And all the HGV's go in and out with their dashcams filming the yard, buildings and the workers.
It might be fun to ask "Can I record from just outside your fence? No? Can I do it from 1m back? No? Can I do it from 2m back? No? Can I do it from 4m back? ..." until they get the point.

1000L intermediate bulk containers (IBC) with rapeseed oil yum yum. This is what they use all over in the food industry, restaurants, and even bakeries. Cheap substitute for eggs and dairy, and they get a Vegan stamp.
It's very unhealthy. I wouldn't use it.
We have cargill here in the United States. They don't have a very good reputation and are known for producing toxic food ingredients as well as polluting the environment. As a result they keep a really low profile while doing business.
Report them to the Environment Agency for flytipping.

That mess by Cargills has been there for years, nothing changes. probably about about 10 years ago the whole stretch of road was re tarmaced, so many of them lorry’s had caused pot holes in the road you could loose yourself in. stuff falls off lorry’s onto the road especially around the scrap metal dock a bit further up. inside cargills processing plant is disgusting, not a healthy place to work. As i did some subcontracting work in there many years ago, you’d come out with all the waste product all over you and smelling like a bowl of corn flakes. The import a lot into the silos from the US and South america via the berth to the right hand side of the plant. it can handle two grain ships at one time and can take a week to unload each one.

Make sure to swing by Euroway Industrial Estate in Bradford, BD4 6SP. With over 40 companies operating there, you're bound to capture some great footage! (You will find one of the largest Marks & Spencer distribution centers in this industrial estate)

The area with a "mess" like that on the google aerial as well. From 1967 O/S and earlier, the site used to include a graveling dock and north carrier dock to left of current gate and now filled in; two long warehouses to right where the silos and plant located to right of gate. Around 2015 Cargill demoed the bright green unit in the centre, left of gate.
The 1851 O/S map shows the northeast corner as Bootle Castle and the northern extent of the principle docks at Liverpool. The Cargill site consisted of carrier dock north and carrier dock adjacent the Canada Dock Basin. Adjacent on the south were the Timber Yards.
