Thank you Andy, I will agree, finding them in new or like new condition can be a challenge and that’s the condition I search for when we are searching for something to add to our collection. With Lionel F3’s the most challenging part is finding them without paint chips around the coupler opening. Thank you!
That is a great bug to have! I had a set of Chessie and Burlington HO F3’s as a kid, I ran them things for hours! My grandpa had the Lionel post war F3’s and they were always the highlight of Christmas at his house. I will always have more F3’s than any other diesel, even though there are several other great designs. 👍🙂
Without a doubt....an F3 unit is going to be my next purchase. Although I love them all, my new set must have a MARS light on it. The more lights the better ! 😀 Thanks Mike....Happy Thanksgiving !
