Hello Connie- You are correct that many times the stand alone dies get overlooked. This particular set I overlooked partially because so many fantastic bundles was at the top of my list to get first. This set of die’s has already shipped to me & will arrive this weekend. You are so kind to share all your ideas, tips & tricks with us. Also your talent & ideas are so great. The entire Stampin community appreciate you & your Stampin talents. I am so thankful to learn from you and your Stampin friends many paper crafting things. May God always bless you talented crafters ! 🙏 THANK YOU CONNIE ! 👏👏👏💕💐🌻
I love using foam tape and the sticky sheets to build my sentiments up. Love the ideal of packing tape I put it on my Alexa shopping list just now. Thank you for your wonderful ideas!
Good morning. I'm so happy your channel popped up the other day. Within 10 minutes of watching you, I hit the subscribe button. You're awesome and thank you so much for so many tips and downloads. I have a lot to watch. 😊
Awesome ideas, Connie!!!!! My head is swimming with ideas of where to use the ombre technique!!!!! And love the shiny ideas as well!!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!!!!
Wink of Stella for the win! And why do I forget about torn paper? So pretty. For the craft foam -- I think it's important to note that if you're like me and like to put dies through forward and back (it's just easier in my small space) DON'T go forward and back with foam and word dies. Going back through will distort the shape. For something you're stacking, it won't fit properly. Ask me how I know! 😊
I’ve been using the packing tape since the first time I saw you use it. Just used it on a card last week. I’ve used the foam sheets before, but always under the cardstock for dimension. Never thought about using it on top of a cardstock shadow. Now I have to try that. Loved all the tips today.
Thanks, as always, for the great tips, Connie! One tip to share: when I die cut something small or thin like words, I put it back into the C/S it was cut from then use Wink of Stella. Less fighting with delicate die cuts. The ombre was to LIVE for!!
Hi Connie, You are amazing with all of the ideas you come up with. Thank you for sharing with all of us. God bless you. I’m looking forward to the creative retreat.
Another great video! I love the tape idea. I too use the beneath card stock. It also takes away some of the weight and when mail with todays cost . . I started that when I was using the mirrored card stock and thought what a waste so i would cut out the shape smaller than I was using that would be hidden with the top layer. I could the use that else wear and like you say no one knows . ❤
Gotta use that packing tape trick! It’s worth noting that when cutting craft foam with a die, only run through the machine once as it stretches a bit. Love to use fun foam for dimension by just cutting a matching piece for any die cut
Awesome cards, I just got the die set and love it already but have only used the birthday die so far. I must try your other ideas. I really like the packing tape idea.
Awesome tips, Connie! I particularly liked the ombre effect, which of course can be used with all kinds of colors (to make a more masculine card?). And silly me, I thought I already had those dies and of course, I do not. On to the wish list!!! I guess I love bling as much as you do; I'm crazy about all those shimmer papers we have now!
These are all super ideas for making our cards look more exciting and special. I love them! Thank you so much for all the good lessons you have for your subscribers.
Wow, Connie! Those are some awesome ways to use sentiment dies! Many of them I already do, but the packing tape is a new one to me, as is the ombre effect. Thank you so much! I do agree that putting adhesive back down for sentiment dies is very helpful, and it makes it look so much nicer.
You never fail to amaze!! I've been watching and following your ideas for MANY years and still you surprise me with new ideas. Thank you for being direct and to the point not wasting our time with non essential "stuff" and "fluff"! (And I like your hair getting a bit longer, too. Very becoming.)
I love this die set. I totally overlooked it. I can't wait to purchase it. I love, love, love the foam idea. I'm going to get some right away. Connie, you're cards today looked fabulous. It inspired me to pull out the word dies I do own. It is time to get some use out of them. 😄Thank you SO much for all your wonderful ideas. What a blessing you are! 🤗
I love adhesive sheets. Great cards. You always have great techniques & tips. Off topic question - I have fallen in love with the Paper Florist dies. Are they an online exclusive? Because I cannot for the life of me find them in the catalogue.
Thanks so much for explaining the red& blue holographic paper! I saw four “colors” listed on the label but the red sheet looked all red to me. I couldn’t figure out where the blue was.
That packing tape idea is brilliant! Thank you!
It is so much fun!

It is easy to overlook them. It really is too bad because they are lovely.
