I’m not a card maker and the title is what made my curiosity get the better of me. I am so happy it did. I learned much from this one video! The glue dauber invention is genius! You have an amazingly creative talent. I subscribed immediately!
Lovely card with added extras. Putting glue on small die cuts is always a challenge but with the ideas you have given us it will help tremendously. Thanks for sharing, have a good day.🌟🌟
I love this! I'm not even going to wait to buy one, I'm going to use the one in my kitchen and then replace that one. Arthritic hands means it's difficult to hold and manoeuvre small items like tweezers, but I can definitely hold one of these! Thanks Natalie, now I'm going to actually enjoy using those fiddly die cuts xx
I wish I had seen this video a few months ago, I was cleaning out my kitchen utensil draw and found one of those small silicone brushes and thought to myself I’m never going to use this and chucked it in the bin, and to think I could have used it for card making, it’s obviously not what you know but who you know, what a shame, but you live and learn. Thank you for the video, good ideas and a lovely card at the end, many thanks 😊
If you ever have part of your die cut not fully adhered to the card, try putting glue on another little piece of card stock or a piece of adhesive release paper and use it as a sort of spatula or paintbrush to add a bit of glue to the underside. That way you don’t have to pry the whole thing up to reglue.
Just Brilliant!!!! I loved the glue technique and the silicone brushes! Most of all- I loved your Crafters Companion glass pad- I have the same one and love to see other Crafters using it- I find its the best for all craft mediums and uses- Thank You for sharing & new subscriber!!
"a little stamping, a little splattering" and a WHOLE LOT of LOVELY! Beautiful card! I like your new alternative for applying glue. I'm using your ink blender method and love it, but this dabber brush will come in handy for those very thin die cuts (especially the very thin sentiment die cuts). Great video! 🩷
Well, your creative ideas continue to march on! 👏👏 what a terrific idea - cutting those brushes and super easy to clean as well - bonus! Thank you! Cheers, 😊
Really neat idea, mr Amazon will be leaving me some brushes in the porch tomorrow. Thank you for a great idea that will ensure that I use fiddly, faffy die cuts more often. I know I will enjoy chopping the bristles down too!
Thank you for the great hint on how to apply glue to fiddly die cuts. I bought a cheap silicone basting brush yesterday, cut down the bristles, and have used it three times already. I learn so much from watching crafting videos.
Thank you for the glue Doppler tip…I’ll be digging through my kitchen gadget box …I’m pretty sure I already have one I could chop up. The card is beautiful
You are just over the top. "Who'd a thunk"!! 😂 Love your tweezers. Any idea of where you found them?? Probably have been asked that question but I rarely read thru your hundreds of fab comments. Thanks again for sharing you!!
Great glue applicator idea. I bought two. I cut my 2nd just like the first, and then cut it again so all I had was about a square in the middle. This gave me a smaller brush so I could control the glue for the times I needed just a dib-dab of glue.
Great idea. I have some of those basting brushes languishing in my utensil drawer in the kitchen. I will be bringing them upstairs and put them to use! Thanks.
thank you for the tips as well as the lovely card idea. I have always had trouble with putting glue on the intricate dies I have cut out. This will make it so easy. Thankyou
Natalie what a brilliant idea, I love it. I do struggle with applying glue to small die cuts. Can’t wait to go to my kitchen and get out my small silicone brush and cut it up. I appreciate all of your ideas and tutorials. Have a great day.
Amazing invention, Natalie!! Thanks for the heads-up, I am sure Amazon will be 'out' of those silicone basting brushes in to time! Also, the trick with glycerine. I use glycerine on my ink pads along with distilled water. You can do this to restore drying pads and get a little more life from them. Love the card and of course your love of teal (I am thinking of Karen M and she loves it too)! Speak soon and thank you xx
Very pretty card! I love this idea of applying glue! Just ordered the basting brushes in my fave color: PINK! Thanks so much for sharing this clever idea! 🥰
I love your new invention 😮 I also love the card. I only have one of those silicone brushes so it will be off to Amazon to find another one. Thanks so much. You really are a God send. 🥰🥰🥰
That’s a genius idea with the brush!
Thanks!
Beautiful card Natalie, and I am now envisaging hundreds of crafters rummaging through their kitchen utensils 😄
LOL! Thanks, Sharon. x
I just did! Didn’t find mine. 😜
Oh dear!
I found mine. We use it for BBQ sauce, guess it is a good thing that our grilling season is about over for the year. 😂
LOL!

Absolutely you can! :)
I love your glue dabber! I've long used silicone kitchen utensils for crafting, but trimming a basting brush... absolutely brilliant!
Thanks so much 😊

Thanks for sharing. 👍 I use a glue spreader to do that. X
