The kittle flat bows would look cute in the string of a flying kite. Just one of many ideas I have for those little bows. I like how they are flat without the big knot
Somehow I got talked in to being part of a parents' night at a preschool. I was supposed to do something simple and artsy with the preschoolers, so I used a version of your old eyeshadow trick. I pre-stamped a pile of little white squares of cardstock with happy faces. Then I grabbed a bag of cotton balls and my chalk palette. Each child could rub their cotton ball in the chalk of their choice and then rub it on the cardstock to make the invisible picture appear! Very cheap but fun project!
I love your videos -- not only are they amazing tips and tricks, but I love the fact that they are short and to the point, without all the extra chit chat! Thanks a lot!
Very cool and boy did I learn a lot. I think I'll pull out all my stamp sand get them organized. I have a lot of stamps....then I watch movies and Demand Shows I've recorded all day long. LOL! Thanks Connie for all the great advice and tips.
A few of these I’ll use. I don’t wear makeup or use nail polish. Dryer sheets? Haven’t used in years! But I’m sure a neighbor or friend could save me some! All of our soda and beer comes in glass bottles! But I have used various bottles for circles. Just like a stamp, tap on ink pad press on paper!
Connie, I discovered your site just a few months ago. So glad I did! Your ideas are inspirational, exciting, and very practical. Thank you, too, for the free download.
OMG, how did I miss this video?? I'm always saving cut outs from cardstock, thinking I could use as a stencil. Now I can.. love the tips. will be sure they are in my book of tips. More things to hang on too, my husband will love that.. lol Thanks for sharing.
Incredible ideas Connie. I especially like the way you used a die on magazine paper. Wouldn't a honeycomb die look great cut out of a picture of macaroni and cheese? Oh endless fun. Thanks.
Got a great 1 for recycling...The inside of security envelopes make a great source of patterned paper for diecuts or whatever! Many are even in colors!
Those ribbons in clothing drove me crazy for years and I always cut them off until I realized that’s what helps the clothes hang on the hangers. You put the ribbons going opposite directions over the hanger. To think I cut them out all those years!
Connie, you have amazed me once again! I love watching your videos! I learn so much and if I am not sure of what you did, I go back and watch it again!! Thank you again from a beginner. 😊❤
I look forward to your hack videos with anticipation. Chock full of useful information in a short time frame. You never disappoint me. I get a lot of gardening catalogs that I have been throwing away. Not now. Imagine the vibrant colors and glossy paper in them. Oh my, what wonderful paper for sentiment, background, and floral dies these would make. These ideas never entered my mind! You are super duper!! Thank you.
So many great tips! I drive my minimalist friend nuts cause I save so much stuff for crafts lol, I grew up on an island in Alaska with five other siblings plus my parents and a dog lol, so I learned to save.
My I love your ideas. When my 2&4 yr old grandson came over they were helping with the dried clothes. Out popped the dryer sheets. I asked them if they knew how to make ghosties? E went into grandmas craft room for some bakers twine, cotton balls and a sharpie. I helped tie the knot and we had flying ghosts running through the house. Entertainment for pennies.
Connie, These were some of my favs you've ever done. Great job! I bet you never sleep trying to come up with ideas. No wonder you need so much coffee. 🤣
I was amazed at all the ideas you presented for up cycling. I love upcycling ideas! I'm always saving things because I think I can use them in a new or different way. I'm a new stamper, and I saved all the clear sheets thinking I could use them in some way. Thank for your wonderful idea!! I also loved the eye shadow idea. I also went through my rubber stamps today that I haven't put the stickers on and used this hack!
These are some great tips love them. Especially the die cut with junk mail. Wow you are awesome. Love it. Buy the dollar tree make up brushes great for this.
Omg, I thought I knew a lot of upcycle hacks but you just blew my mind. Thank you so much for sharing, I try not to waste anything in my house and now thanks to you there will be even less wastage. Thank you so much for sharing Connie. 😘
Aww Connie, you got me! I am a stickler for recycling. I go overboard when it comes to making sure I recycle everything possible. My kids (older and out of the house) make fun of my recycling O.C.D. but hey, I figure I'm covering for those who don't recycle right? (lol) I tear the labels off bottles, cans, bla, bla, bla. I even cut the little plastic window out of envelopes before I throw the paper envelope in the recycle bin. I've read they CAN'T recycle the envelopes with the plastic window but I've also read they CAN recycle with the plastic window. Just to make sure, I cut that silly plastic window out of every envelope we receive before throwing them in the recycle bin! I could go on and on but........ , I'd have a book! THANKS FOR THE AWESOME TIPS! You're great! TFS
An upcycle I have never seen anyone else do so far is die cutting with the metal wraps from the top of wine bottles. The wraps come in several colors and make nice, firm small shapes and words. They dies cut really well through the metal.
@@simplysimplestamping you are always so put together…hard to believe! I have a tiny craft area do it a mess when I’m working. We are building a house and I get my own craft room. Pretty excited and overwhelmed at getting it outfitted. I have order 100 SU stamps…not to mention dies and punches. So many options. I’ve been watching a lot of craft room tour videos…lol
This is the best hack video I have ever seen. Your others are great too but this one really has a lot packed into it. So many things that you can use that most of the time would have gone to waste! Thanks a million for sharing all your innovative ideas with us. You're the bomb!
Some useful ideas here. That piece of release paper all the dimensionals were stuck to? If you're die cutting a complicated die, use a roller glue on the back of the card BEFORE cutting, and use the release paper so it doesn't stick to the plate. And you've made a self adhesive sticker! You can even leave the backing on it and save it for later use.
the buckle idea is great for Christmas cards. Like Santa's belt.
Oh what a fun idea. Thanks for the tip.
The kittle flat bows would look cute in the string of a flying kite. Just one of many ideas I have for those little bows. I like how they are flat without the big knot
You are right, that would be adorable.
You are so good with such simple ideas. I love your hacks best. Thank you.
Coloring white ribbon…. Now I can match my stamping so easily. What a great idea!
Rashmi, I am so glad!
