Cathy, I am so glad.
I was just going to comment the same as you. This is the best instruction video for die cutting! ❤️❤️❤️
AGREED!!!!
One of the best tips I ever learned was to add double sided tape to the back of my cardstock before diecutting. Makes life much simpler for intricate diecuts and Sentiments.
Kathleen, great idea.

Hi Connie, I have a great very simple tip to protect your top cutting plate from getting all cut up. I put a sheet of copy paper over my die under my top plate. Sometimes I put a double sheet. This means my top plate lasts for months and months without having to be replaced. It also protects cardstock from marks, very handy for foil. I have been doing this for years. Verna from Australia 🇦🇺
Verna, thank you for the tip.
Great tip, thank you much!
Wonderful hints! I never thought about the Press ‘n Seal trick. The box is moving to the craft room! My 13 y/o granddaughter loves to come over and die cut and I will share these tips with her. (She will think I am smart!! 😉)
Elaine, I am so glad to know the tips were helpful.

You are so welcome! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement.
Thanks for these tips, Connie. I especially appreciate tips number 8 and 10. I always have a hard time getting things exactly where I want them. But now can get things lined up exactly. And your demonstration on how to emboss using a die is extremely helpful.
Phyllis, you are very welcome. I am so glad these tips were helpful.
Loved the tip on how to emboss from a die. I always had to drag out my “other” die cut machine to get nice embossing from dies. Now I can sell it! Thank you!!!
You are welcome.
Love all of these tips.. especially the embossing from a die.. THANK YOU!
Anne, you are very welcome.
Great tips. The lint roller I will definitely use . 💙
Me too! I might even use it on my craft room floor after my crafting tornado blows through!...lol!
Hi Connie ! Love the press n' seal tip, but also adding length and the decorative edge to the tag. And using a die to emboss with GREAT !! Thanks for the tips !!

As always, I really enjoyed your tips and tricks on die cutting. It’s time to dust off my box of Press and Seal that’s been hanging around my craft room just waiting to be put to use! Love all your tips. I’ve been crafting for many years (thoroughly enjoyed my 10+ years as a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator) but I’ve forgotten the many uses and techniques for , in this example, die cutting. Thank you for reminding me of some and teaching me some new techniques. I also appreciate the downloads you offer. I print them up, put them in binders and glance through them before I craft. TFS! 🌹 Ali K.

Irene, You are so welcome!
Thanks bunches for the reminder about the Press’n’Seal for use as the “hold down tape”! I’ll give that a try, as I’ve tried everything else, from the YELLOW Frog Tape on through the “sensitive skin MEDICAL TAPE”. In most applications, these are just fine - UNTIL I run the project through my embossing/die cutting machine. After that maneuver, ALL those others adhere to the point that they abrade the paper when I try to remove it.
You are welcome.
Thank you for sharing.
Rita, My pleasure!
Thank you for all the awesome tips !
Annie, You are so welcome!
Love the press n seal tips !
I am so glad you like it.
All great tips! I think my favorite was the way you transformed the label die. I’ve made a die longer or shorter, but for some reason never thought to cut it to have a design edge on both ends! 😱Love that! Also I don’t remember anyone using the press and seal this way! Another great tip! Thank you for taking the time to share such good information!

Sharon, you are very welcome.
I've been using Press n' Seal for a long time in my craft room, but never to hold dies in place instead of washi or purple tape! I haven't been happy with any of the "new" tapes to hold my dies, so I'm definitely going to try PnS now! Did you know a fellow crafter's hubby invented PnS?? Yep! Jennifer McGuire's husband invented it!! Oh, and the SU silicone mat is fantastic! I use them all the time for applying glue to intricate dies and daubing them off on the silicone so they don't 'bleed' on my project! I also use them to hold ink pads, loosen lids, etc. I have 2 & I bought my hubby one for the garage so he would keep his mitts off mine!
Kay, I did know that actually. It is a great product.
What is the name of the purple tape tho?
@@kittydemeo it was the original Purple Tape from Therm O Web but they don’t make it anymore. They make a new version but it doesn’t stick very well.
Great tips! Thank you for sharing.

Love these tips. Some I knew from your previous videos but some were new to me. I love the press-n-seal for lining up your die cuts.
