- How To Use A Car Ramp For Vehicle Maintenance. Need to get under your car comfortably and safely? Short of buying a professional car lift, a good, solid pair of car ramps will get the job done when it comes time for your next oil change or tune-up. The best car ramps can be used for low-profile rides like sports cars, heavy-duty vehicles, and more. Here's how you can add some ground clearance and get your car up a set of ramps to access your undercarriage without destroying your vehicle ramps, car, or yourself.

Clear precise information good work
Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial. My driveway is gravel.
Do you have a suggestion for non skid mats to use on my concrete garage floor?
Which ramps are these nice video
watching this after i drive off the ramps i just bought, breaking both of them :)
That’s unfortunate they broke - hopefully that didn’t damage anything on your vehicle!
How did they break?
great tutorial, but i would still add some jack stand in both sides just for an extra safety better safe than sorry !
Great suggestion - and I 100% agree with added safety!
Would you recommend a backup safety measure in case these ramps break while the car is sitting on them?
A backup doesn’t hurt; you can always place a couple of jack stands under the vehicle as a second measure. For instance when I do brakes, I use jack stands along with a hydraulic jack and then I place the tires under the vehicle. So I have two backups.
What if I want to lift the entire vehicle? I have a 2023 Bronco
And want to change oil and dress the suspension bushing.
If you want to lift the entire vehicle, then I would suggest jack stands or a quickjack - something of this nature that would get both the front and back off the ground.
dont forget to put chocks behind the back tires so it dont roll
he said it on 3:03
Please let us know the name brand and where you purchased these ramps. Thanks!
These are Canadian Tire brand Motomaster.
@migueltremblay9440 thanks bunches so much!
I just hold my brakes while I give it gas. Using two feet. One foot on the brake and the other on the gas.
Doesn’t work as well in a manual LOL
Ive seen too many broken plastic car ramps.
I'm thinking to buy these ramps. Do you have any regrets?
No regrets at all. I use them on a regular basis and very happy with this purchase based on the vehicles I have. I use these ramps in many of my videos.
At this angle ... how can all the oil drain as it is not flat
As long as the drain plug is the lowest point of the oil system, it will still drain fine. Therefore you can jack up only the front or use ramps and still have no issue changing the oil.
Buy two sets and put them against two axles. You'll lift both axles on the same time
once ure car is up with this ramp, do u still add other jack stands or someting else?
Not necessary because it’s a “king ranch.”
