I agree with you. I also feel like they should be used like a safety on a gun. OK to use it but don’t put 100% in it. I use them but also put a jack under as a secondary precaution. But that’s just me.

Randy was killed 2 days later in a freak oil changing accident. His lasts words were "Don't blame the ramps Mom". R.I.P.

Did mom hide the tide pods before calling the ambulance?

I've been using my Rhino ramps for 8 years and haven't had any issues. I've used them 40-50 times doing oil changes and maintenance on my vehicles, including diesel pickup trucks.
I highly recommend Rhino ramps for people that work on their cars. They're perfectly safe if you use them right.

Couldn't agree more. 2 pairs several years old in great conditions, no complaints!

My is almost 7 years, I used it twice a year for my oils change. For just one oils change I already paid for it already. Yes, you must learn from those who know how to use it before. I drove off the ramps twice... after that I did it perfect every time. What I learned is use the slow gear, the one you use to go up hills. I use a stick to measure the center of the wheel before you lay down the ramps, accuracy is a MUST. Besure to stick the ramps close to the wheel, a rubber cheap carpet is also helpful if the ground is slippery... also you must take care of the ramps, if you abused it, it will abused you. Its does have feeling. Good Luck!

If you compare this newer design with the older Rhino Ramps (which I have), this new design is flimsy trash. My older ones are heavy as hell and have a full support grid underneath that fills the entire ramp…. not some cheap cost-cutting hollow partial grid like these redesigned ones have. This new design has many potential failure points. How they decided that cutting production costs are worth people’s safety..SMH.🤔

I used to have the older design too and my sister over drove and partial collapes the front of one. I still used those ramps for years after and they held up fine, LOL.

@@DaBinChe lol..I just ordered a new set of Eastwood long 2 piece ramps. Each ramp is 2 pieces so after you pull the car up on them, you can unhook the ramps. They are like 4 feet long so you can pull your low clearance car up on them. They were not cheap, but look decently constructed. I still have my old Rhinos as well, and like everything else…they just don’t make ‘em like they used to.

only times I have seen Rhino ramps fail was because people over drive them

I don't even trust the steel sheetmetal ones tbh. Not to climb up under there.

Fundamentally sketchy design. Many fail at the same points. Should be recalled.

I have 2 sets of Rhinos, both several years old. Never had an issue with them for cars and small trucks (Ranger 3.0 Ext Cab). Fundamentally great ramp design when used correctly for the right vehicle

@@TrackStaff404 The Harbor Freight jack stands worked great for "almost" everyone. Recalled.
