After driving the car for a bit, I must say that transmission is incredible, the torque from the gen2 B58 is good, and if you have the full driver's assist("Driving Assistance Professional Package") driving on the freeway with such a big vehicle is pretty easy. You will definitely feel the weight of the car when you use the brakes.
Nice, my dad’s 2025 X5 with all the options arrives next month and I can’t wait for us to pick it up

Those B58TU2 have been an issue lately, been seeing those in the dealership for engines or cylinder head replacements, hopefully you don’t get into a headache with this one 🙏🏻
The arrow style headlights on the newer cars have grown on me. They're much more aggressive than the halo rings and fit the angles of newer designs quite well. The biggest lighting gripe I have with then newer BMWs is the horrible combo brake, tail, turn signal lights we have in the US vs. the EU tail lights. The EU tail lights seem so much safer and look much better by separating the tail light, brake light, and turn signal.
Great looking car, everything about it is cool. You said you bought the car for your wife so if she is happy with it that is all that matters you should listen to her. HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE. That’s why you have your cars to mod as much as you like.😊

17:05 I mean I dont blame her, this generation's M sport is understated af compared to last gen. Xline and M sport barely have any big difference in front bumper, in fact if u painted everything from X line to black I bet you coudnt even tell the two apart. I liked the non lci M sport way better, it was so aggressive.
That crystal package is from Swarovski 👌🏼 very neat choice and configuration
I have a x7 in same configuration. Best thing I did was putting 70% ceramic tint on the roof and windshield. Definitely cooled it down in the summer.

I'm assuming she'd prefer comfort than performance maybe you can do both by literally sound deadening it in every spot but you can still mod it without ruining comfort and maybe for the rims a size down would probably work too since it'll cushion more from the road.

If they lower 1-2 inches it should be fine. Any more and it’ll be absolute uggers
@Ty420 I'd have to see it.. I don't like lowering cars period.. I think they look stupid and not all road are good for them but lowering an SUV just seems like it wouldn't fit it. But I could be wrong as well
I’ve seen a bagged x4m looks crazy good and also a bagged Audi sq5. Lowered suvs are underrated in my opinion

Yes, definitely add the front lip. My wife loved it. Specially when she was parking with a curb in front.
Hella nice car! congrats on your family of cars! And on your real family! Bravo. Too bad you didn't go Audi... I just love Audi. But BMW is my choice for SUVs other than the RSQ. For a family hauler, the 20 inch wheels are ideal, more sidewall is just plain safer for your kids.

Yes to window tint and exhaust! BMWs were meant to have near black windows and how can your wife show off her B58 when the stock exhaust sounds like a Toyota Camry.

honestly, just change the downpipe with VRSF in my opinion it's way better sound with the m performance exhaust u had

I’m interested to see how you modify this vehicle. I just got my ‘25 Brooklyn grey X5 in July, with the same M package. I do want to wrap it in ppf soon, but I agree with your wife about the color. I’ve seen the ppf in satin/mat and I know I would miss the original Brooklyn grey if I went that route. Looking forward to seeing a review with perhaps the modifications

I love the X5. I don’t like the big grills so I’m glad they didn’t go that route with the X5. I don’t like the new DRL lights though. The arrows are a big downgrade compared to the ring style of the 2023 X5.

Awesome X5. Great engine choice. Our X5 is now 10 years old now. Bought new. I hate brake dust. Replaced front brake pads just after purchase (Akebono ceramic pads) - Have just done 200,000km and never replaced pads or discs. Still going strong. Ridiculous!
I was thinking about the X3 but it turned out that the B58 gen3 is no longer a good engine. BMW made two changes to the disadvantage

Sick car, you should get ppf all across the idrive screen and the controller where the modes are n stuff they tend to get scratched up a bunch from nails etc.
These things are so fun to slide for some reason you should turn off traction and have some fun😂😂
Naah Bruh,...you can't be buying her a vehicle,...then modifying it to your taste, etc. The specs are nice,...as for me, the Executive Pkg is a must. Also, though in Florida, I still would have gotten XDrive,...you know for rainy days. As for mods, Tinted front side glass, but not the windshield,...I mean why reduce the visibility by tinting the windshield. Think bruh,...your wife and son will be in that car a lot,...so scratch that tint on the windshield.
Now, I think the number 1 thing you could do is do a video showing her all the neat things the X5 has and is capable of,....I think she would be beyond the 'minimalist' mindset about the X5. ijs
Other than that, the BG with M Sport Pkg is hitting hard,...and I'm thinking the color combo and full option set hasn't registered with her yet.
Other than that,...let it be hers,...and not yours! Just a thought.

@@JMD535 fair enough but it wouldn’t be too smart to do that on a family car, larger wheels with low-profile tires are no good for a family SUV, it increases the risk of flat tires, the 20s on his X5 rn are his safest bet
Some 22 inch wheels with the new, special comfy tires that have a special rubber that makes 22 inch wheels just as comfortable as 20 inch wheels. 🤥

Fyi. You keep saying mperformance brakes wheels exhaust etc but they are not. They are m sport parts. I work at the bmw dealership and the amount of people that get this wrong is mind blowing. Mperformance parts are completely different.
I juggled between saying both. Oh well 🤷🏽♂️
@@VehicleVirals all g. Mperformance stuff is more sporty than msport and you can buy it after buying the car. Like carbon fibre body parts, cross drilled rotors with bigger callipers etc
@@Ferdis71when u put these red brakes on the base model x5 it will be called m perfomance brakes, the bigger calipers is only the full M model brakes, and carbon fiber is made from plastic, wood is better on the interuor more expensive
@@sperlongatours you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You can only get m sport parts when ordering car from bmw. Mperformance parts can only be bought afterwards. For example carbon front lip, alcantara steering wheel and big brake kit. 6piston not 4 like m sport brakes. Dude just put any VIN in ETK and have a look at which parts ar m sport and which are mperformance. Mperformance parts are only under retrofit section.
