    I like all the ingenuity, makes you very self-sufficient. The discussion about how Bart bypassed the ABS pump was impressive, hope to get more details in the future. Is TST a sponsor/supplier for any major racing teams, like in MotoAmerica? Keep it up!

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      MotoAmerica has been weird this year and we have not made any deals with any team for this season. We did sponsor Westby Racing for a few seasons a while age. Then we decided to help out some up and coming riders for a while. Kayla Yakov was one of those recent examples. As the Correa kids get up in age, they get faster on their bikes and we think that they will be the next team we will be supporting outside of our club racing guys that we already do.

      There have been so many questions on this that we may make an episode about it in the future.

      Sorry man...a lot of delays in raw material deliveries this year. We are doing all we can at all times to get stock levels up.

    Are all these parts made for an r3 and directly fit onto the mt03? Are you planning on replacing these r3 parts with made for mt03 parts in the future? Is there a way to just disable the abs electronically? What core moto brakes lines did you use? Last i checked core moto said they dont make mt03 brake lines. Also any plans to upgrade the front suspension in the future? Link to gas cap, rear shock? Radiator guard in the future?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A lot of these parts are made for the R3 but they are essentially the same bike so there is no need to replace anything unless there is benefit to making dedicated MT parts. In that case we will make the dedicated parts. You cannot disable ABS electronically unless your embedded programming skill is on a Jedi level. You can simply pull the fuse and endure the ABS light on your dash, but that will not do away with the fact that you still have a mile of fluid in all the lines and rubber hoses. This will just stop ABS intervention. You are right, Core does not advertise lines for the MT because that bike comes in ABS version only and their lines do not give enough benefit for cost/difficulty in replacing only the rubber portions of the system. We used the R3 lines in our bike and they feel great. I am working on front suspension today. I will be installing Andreani Misano cartridges with 80 springs and 5 weight oil. I typically don't post any links in comments because you can just simply go to our website, punch in your bike and be presented with appropriate parts for that model. But since I wrote you a novel already here you go tstindustries.com/yamaha-mt-03-2020/

    Question for you about the "rider weight" on the Ohlins suspension. What is the weight "range" for their different springs? The reason I ask is that I'm losing weight and want to make sure that I order springs that won't be too "big" in a month.

    Hey guys, great work! I got this bike and wanna go with 120front/160rear tire set. Would you recommend it?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will never get to the edge of the front tire so you will essentially be dragging around a heavier tire for no reason. You will also run a larger contact patch front and rear. The dynamics of the bike will change pretty drastically. Without adjusting suspension and geometry of the bike, getting suitable rubber for those size contact patches, and taking time to dial in the setup you will just be doing yourself a disservice.

    Are you guys thinking about getting into the engine like you did the R3?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not the same level of "getting in the engine" but yes. We won't be disassembling the head but will slap a thinner base and head gasket on there, swap out pistons, cams, do a cam degree, and then tune. Should be good for something like 46-48 horse.

    You should probably get a wider handlebar...

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are actually looking for a different handlebar setup but instead want more narrow and more forward with less sweep. We will have to play with settings on current setup to see exactly what we need.

    So, I've been watching this series a bit, and there is some good stuff in here, but I gotta say, you guys tend to be a bit wordy. The content is definitely solid, but you do tend to dump words for a bit longer than you need to. Basically I'd suggest try and keep the intro brief, and leave the details for later when the parts are actually going in.

      Arizona used to be the place to jump out of airplanes with stuff like couches, cars, etc. They called it junk day and they used a Casa with a rear ramp door. That hasnt been around since the 90's due to pollution with said junk. I think nowadays the only way to do this is in a desolate area bandit style or in Mexico off the grid.
