im glad someone else is worried about the menus but my main worry is kind of the opposite of yours, im worried that the pc menus and fonts are gonna be on the console versions, mainly because all of the pre-release footage that shows the hud has shown the pc's, it could very obviously be because they're only using pc footage but you really never know

I look forward to you streaming this classic very soon; however, as I am sure you heard, the word on the bloody internet unanimously says that the game’s launch is a ‘disaster.’ I hope that by the time you install, play and stream it, the game will be playable - with most of the issues either extenuated or resolved. 🙏

I hope this release sets the precedent that people still like the old SW Lucasarts stuff and we might get proper remakes in the future. Or even better something Republic Commando related.
I feel the same way. I would absolutely love it if they ended up doing something with the Republic Commando series again. I played the hell out of that game when I was younger. The multiplayer was so insanely fun and the campaign was awesome.
I hope the Ai bot logic is improved. By that I mean that the opponent bots won't just home in on the player just because they spot you. They could have many other bots on your team firing at them but the instant you show up, they disregard the enemies shooting at them and go right to you. I hope they make the ai bot logic in this case more balanced and more realistic as well as your ai teammates being more supportive and not just standing around on occasion or at times running from a command post they SHOULD be capturing but would rather wander off to do IDK what.

I saw a video where someone found out they put something in steam or somewhere that basically confirmed they have been working on it for I think since summer 22
Intresting havent seen that but it might be a good sign.
I'm so excited to go get this game on the Nintendo Switch console and it's gonna be amazing.

I think if they add anything itll be cut content.....Ben Kenobi and The Royal Guards were gunna be in BF2
for me, the main appeal is having it on Switch, and a condensed way to play the games (all DLC on all platforms). My main worry is the menus like you mentioned, and also which version of the maps they're using (BF2 maps have some changes on PC, like Geonosis has a different skybox and is way more orange) or critical bug fixes (Like one faction on Naboo Plains in BF1 just didnt have starfighters on PC).
And of course modding, either officially or hoping that it will be easy to port mods over. Would be kind of awkward to have two installs for Classic Collection and modded OG release
I just hope all consoles have the same graphics
