    Very beautiful...it's so amazing that key can rotate fully. I did't know we can do that in PowerPoint . Thank you so much

    Hey, awesome video! I love how seamlessly you drew few circles, Subtracted them, drew more rectangles, Unioned them, and just add Bevel and boom! A 3D key!!! I love it!

      place into timeline, edit it and mask
      place person video in timeline
      track object (the hand)
      place in the 3d video as the object to use for the tracking item
      ok it
      then pip designer to chromakey the tracked item

    Please note that this only works when you change ONLY ONE parameter. Just in case somebody else tries to rotate freely in 3d and fails like me :-)

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? That's not the case for us. You can change all X, Y, and Z values in the 3-D Rotation options and it still works smoothly. What may cause an issue is if you go from an object with no 3-D Rotation applied to one where it is applied. If you are encountering an issue, report it to Microsoft by typing 'Feedback' into the search bar at the top of PowerPoint and 'Send a Frown'.

    Hey, cool vid! Just wondering how you put the drawing tools below the ribbon?

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the Quick Access Toolbar. Right-click on any function in the ribbon and choose 'Show Quick Access Toolbar Below the Ribbon'. Then add anything you want to it by right-clicking on a function and choosing 'Add to Quick Access Toolbar'. Full details, video, and download are here - www.brightcarbon.com/resources/quick-access-powerpoint-toolbar/

    If you add any special effects to the 3D model the transition effect in presentation mode will not work. Your image will just simply fade in when you go to another slide. Do not add any special effects like shadowing to the 3d model.

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it can start to get a bit tricky if you apply too many changes to the object during the Morph transition, as PowerPoint may recognize it as a different object. So it's really a case of see what you can get away with. One option for this specific situation is to apply a 0% shadow on the object on the first slide, and then the standard shadow on the second slide. That way, PowerPoint knows that it's the same object just with a different shadow applied, rather than a NEW shadow that's being added.

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it all works in PowerPoint 2010 (although you have to add the Boolean tools - shape union and shape subtract - into the quick access toolbar).

    What 's version office?

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This can be done in Office 365, 2019, or 2021. If you have a slide with the Morph transition already applied, then it will also work in PowerPoint 2016.

  • @vinteeum
    @vinteeum 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    can i have this transition in power point 2013?

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly not. It's only available with an Office 365 subscription, or will be in the Office 2019 release. Sorry.

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a Microsoft subscription service. All of these techniques are available in standard Office 2016 though (and 2013 and 2010).

    Is it possible to create on PowerPoint 2013?

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly not. You can create the 3D key in PowerPoint 2013, but the morph transition, to create the spinning effect, is only available in either PowerPoint 2019 or Office 365. Sorry. You could simulate it with stop motion, having lots of different models, each on a slightly different rotation and using entrance and exit animations to bring them in, but it would likely take a very long time to achieve.

  • @spiritslayas

    thanks! when I get my computer back I'm gonna use this! but whenever I download PowerPoint I don't get morph 😔

    • @Brightcarbon
      @Brightcarbon  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's only available in PowerPoint 2016 or Office 365. But even then, only the later versions of it. Check what version of PowerPoint you have, and potentially update it if you can.
