I did a couple of changes as follows: 1) I clicked and dragged the transparent map changing it to the mirror image so it would look more like the back of a transparent globe. 2) I added three more maps 1 for the front and two for the back with different delays, flyout times and no repetition so the start wouldn't be blank. Thank you for this. I found that if you flip the images on the left side vertically, it actually makes more sense that these are spinning on the back of the globe.
Looks really good. One thing you could change is to invert (flip horizontal) the map pictures from the left side to give the effect that they are going around the other side of the globe.
I have exactly the same thought so that the continents on the other side of the globe isn't repeating ... however I can never get the timing right. It works fine initially when Asia coming in from right to left and Australia comes in from right to left .. but when the middle of the image flies past, both Africa continent appear on the front side of the globe as well as the back side of the globe ..
