You just seriously changed my life! I'm Deaf & I make presentations constantly with a lot of visual aids. I had no idea about these shortcuts. You ROCK!
I do not think I can overstate the value this presentation has been for me as a resource. From even some of my toughest professors, at a graduate level, they will seemingly go out of their way to acknowledge the quality or effort of my PowerPoint(s).
This is by far one of my favorite tutorials. I have been using this functionality for years, but I forget about some of the features (like the morphing dissimilar images into each other) Came back again today because I knew you would show me how. Knocked out a great morph transition in minutes, that would have been nearly impossible to pull off with out this. Thank you for all your wonderful tips.
Wow, wow, wow, wow!!!! You don't know what you did to me today! 17years I used Powerpoint, I thought I mastered it, but no, I was wrong. How lovely was the change you taught me today. God bless you soooo much You deserved my subscription today
Leila - Another GREAT video! Thank you for sharing the morphing tip. That is super easy to do & creates a cool effect. That morphing tip & ditching the tradition bullet points are going to help me up my game creating presentations.
Thanks for the morphing tip and for making all your lessons accessible through closed caption. These tips are definitely going to up my game in creating PowerPoint presentations.
Thanks for the tips. I am now in a new job where a lot of my work is instructing and PowerPoint is used for most delivery methods. These tricks definitely are helping me make my presentations less miserable
While it's easy to convert a regular text box to a SmartArt and a SmartArt to a regular graphic, the reverse isn't. Since bosses and clients are notorious for changing their minds on what they want, I always tell my students to drag a copy of the object to the side before converting. If you need to change it later on, you can simply use the backup element. If you simply want to change the colors of the SmartArt elements, there is no reason why you'd have to convert at all. Just select the element in question and use the Format bar to change it. You could also convert the shapes to another one (in your example if you fancy say crosses instead of circles) or make them bigger or smaller. The trick is that it will still be a SmartArt so if you want to add a fourth element or longer text, the SmartArt with its quarter circle would adapt. But if you want to use Morph like you did, you'd have to convert it so that you can drag the quarter circle someplace else. It should be noted that Morph is only available if you either have Office 365 or Office 2019. Enhanced Morph looks like it's a terrific idea. Looking forward to using it once it become available.
I started watching your videos because they were useful from a professional standpoint, now i just watch them because theyre so damn interesting and i can always apply something! We love you leila, keep at it!!!

@@LeilaGharani Dear Leila. I am facing a kind of a problem... I am using the greek version of power point 2016 and the transition feature of "Morph" does not exist, unfortunately... Is sth that I can do? Thank you a lot for this inspiring video!
Great tips regarding animation and morphing. The only piece I struggle with is having to manually group and ungroup smart art objects and change numbers manually. But, to accomplish the results you demonstrated, it's a small price to pay. Makes people think more about their presentation and that should be the point, anyway!
As always, a crystal clear presentation of a small but incredibly impressive skill to add to our technological toolbox. Your ideas are always fresh, and I feel that I am improved in my professionalism with each video. Thanks!
Just beautiful. The morphs look great. As soon as I saw this, I applied it to a couple of my lecture presentations. The only drawback is that your presentation will have a lot of extra slides. If there are 3-4 objects to morph, it would need additional 3-4 slides. This can easily triple the number of slides in your presentation. It's best to have an original without the morphs, then to work from there. In this format, it would be impossible to share with others.
