Great video as usual Jaw Tooth! Man, those trains were in a hur-ray for certain! Thanks for including some local town history in between the trains. Some of us viewers will probably never visiit all the places in person. Thanks again! 😊

Railfanning with you Jawtooth is an adventure! No one knows what small town and out-of- the way places we'll be seeing you at next. I also love the way you talk about the places you go to and the sights to see in that area. Thank you.😊
Great train action in Delphi Indiana on the very curvy tracks at a lot of nice crossings with Norfolk Southern, also the awesome Wabash and Erie Canal, a couple of old beautiful churches and of course the always amazing live action pets and music slide show have a great week and thanks Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
The mixed freight with the trailing DPU had an amazing string of oversized box cars. I love seeing that! This was the first train that wasn't speeding through town. Great catch, JT! 😃😃😃❤️❤️❤️
That second train had just about everything. Loved them all. Thanks for showing us around too. Love the stills, animals, music, kiddin' around, just everything.
A few years ago there were 2 girls on a trail in Delphi and a guy shot them. I was researching it and the trial starts this fall. I will have a part 2 for this video where I walked to the bridge where it happened. The bridge is an abandoned railroad bridge and is a hiking trail
JT I don’t know how long you was there in Delphi but you caught a lot of trains and some fast ones too and I love it when you give the history of those little towns and cities that you go to that is real interesting to me but anyway, my friend as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
I was there for more than half a day the first day and then I came back a couple days later and spent most of t he day there. That video will be posted in a few days or so. Thanks for watching my video and commenting!
Great trains. Good variety. Moving right along. Thanks for showing some of Delphi. I have not been there. I’m following the Richard Allen case. He is accused of killing two young girls walking the old Monon route and bridge in Delphi area several years ago when I still lived in central Indiana. Thanks for another fine video JT. ❤
Hi JT, what a lovely town shortie first train but it was flyin! 2nd train was awesome fab mixed manifest that was flyin too i do love a fast train! The crossing bells make a lovely sound as well. We have very many canals in the UK, Its another interest of mine watching video's of the history of them & how the railways made alot of them redundant for carrying freight in the early 19th century. Thanks for showing us around Delphi. Love & hugs to all your pets, & Tom is getting big! ❤😊👍
Nice small town architecture downtown, liked that. Also enjoyed those 85 footers with old roads. Yes this was a great catch. I don't think that auto-carrier was 2 MUCH. Thanks for sharing. 👍
I thank you for the excellent video, JT! Quite a few very fast trains. I loved the vintage box cars on another! I never noticed all of the beautiful buildings in Delphi before. The downtown was very picturesque. I used to travel through Delphi, shuttling my son between Purdue University and home. I really appreciate the somewhat local video. I always enjoys seeing your pets! Thanks again, JT! 😀😀😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

That is a magnificent Courthouse for a small Town! I assume it serves a wider region than just the town? But what a building to be proud of! Love the "Rock Shop" and "Sand Tones," almost side by side! Is there a Pebble Shop as well?
Hey jaw tooth awesome trains and town. Mixed freights are my favorite. That spur track used to connect to another railroad. On Google maps you can see road bed . Have a great railroad day 🚂🙋♀️
The track the N/S uses is the old Wabash RR line from Fort Wayne. The active spur you show was the Monon (C,I&L) line that ran from Indy to Chicago. CSX still uses part of it from Monon, Indiana to Chicago. There was also a Delphi Belt line that ran from the stone quarry through the middle of town to service the few factories. All gone and forgotten. They have a replica canal boat you can ride on at certain times. Thanks for the videos. Love the pets and their live action!
Nice!! That train with the long box cars at the end had 5 different types of cars in a row near the front. Auto rack, flat car, box car, center beam, tank car. I may have got the order wrong. First 5 that I’ve seen since I started watching for them.
Those trains do go through there rather quickly - I wonder how we could tell how fast they're traveling? Hey Jaw Tooth - - You know you really want to use your 'radar gizmo', so my friend, DO IT!!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos with us!
Sounds like those rules might suggest criminal activity has taken place on the trail. Both the Delphi and Lafayette cities look fascinating and I am sure there is a lot of history tied to them! Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic as usual. What stood out for me was the second train as it approached. THAT’S THE WAY TO BLAST THE HORNS! I enjoy watching that part over and over. You could tell they were in a hurry. What’s the rush?
While in Indiana you should follow the Monon Subdivision south to Greencastle where it connects to the CSX Main at CP39. I can show you some good locations including the Grassy Knoll. From there head east to Avon Yard.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, I like them, they're awesome, my birthday is coming up in 5 days, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.

I followed the route of that spur on Google Maps (one of my favourite pasttimes after watching one of your short line videos!), and hey, I see there are some 360 panoramic photos taken along the Canal path on the Delphi Historic trail, including one of what I assume to be a relocated railway station! There's a bit of rail in the path in front of it, and it's just by where the rail spur crosses the canal! Is that cool or what! Sadly it looks like the spur to US Aggregates is no longer in use, nor the kickback from it that heads back east. But there is still a lot of old rail in the ground on the east kickback that can be seen in Street View at road crossings, and it looks like one of the canal bridges (not the one you were at) is an old rail bridge on the kickback spur! (maybe it was once an old route of the main line?)
Cool, thanks! I will check it out. I drove up there to the quarry area. They keep the weeds cut back and the track clear but the quarry hasn't used it in a long time. I think NS uses it to store maintenance of way equipment on or something like that. Thanks for watching!
Nice Video

@8:49 nice long line of 85 ft boxcars. Awesome to see the Grand Trunk 85 footers in there too! Thanks Brian! Enjoy the rest of your day!
