Oakland Roots Rug Pulled By Coliseum Authority

The Oakland Roots thought they had everything ready to go. They were ready to announce their plans to play at the Oakland Coliseum in 2025. Then on Friday -- just one day after the City and County met with the A's about a lease extension -- the Coliseum Authority abruptly canceled the meeting in which they planned to hammer out the final details. No explanation provided.
By the way, the A's tell me they were fine sharing the stadium with the Roots in 2025 if it came down to it. So what the heck is going on?
