Appreciate your concern. Although a few were loud and concerned about 8 games, as more realized 8 was a max, a cap, and that similar agreements were made with the Mariners in 2018 and Orioles last year, more spoke up in favor of the agreement. 8 may be negotiated down, and there might even be a cap lower the first few years. Some of us are extremely familiar with the events involving the team the past several years and are very confident about their success in Las Vegas.
The A''s have a great history and usually have had great players in every decade that I've been alive(almost 5). Oakland fans would support the team if they had reasonable chances of winning. This is common in a lot of markets, St.Louis, Kansas City, Pittsburg, and Vegas. 5 or 7 years of a team that doesn't win shit and trades their best players, it won't matter how nice the stadium is. There's plenty of shit to do in LV other than go see a team lose.
After Bally’s is having there issues I actually think the deal is more likely not to go through now. I am curious if they will be allowed to stay in Sac without another vote and does the relocation fee and clause about selling the team still apply.
I predict the As will actually play in Sacramento for many years, and never move to Vegas. I don’t think they can permanently play there but it will work in the short-term. And that can grow to a much longer period than the original plan.
Dude, Casey, wouldn't these games (like every other home game played remotely) be compensated by MLB???? I'm guessing they request 8 games and MLB approves 4
I live in Vegas and this makes zero sense where are they going to get these fans from ? Other then Vegas. So they want to play 10% of home games where ? If they want fans discount 10% or more of home games for locals
70% of the As fans are going to be locals!? I’ve lived in Vegas for over 10 years and I can tell you the As have zero fan base here. Dodgers padres giants cubs Mets and Yankees have a bigger fan base than the As here. As belong in Oakland and I’m sorry that the As fans have to deal with such bad ownership. I grew up going to As games all my life (I’m a dodgers fan) and the As fans are super passionate about THEIR team. You all deserve WAY better. #selltheteam
I'm in Vegas now and I think this owner is just looking for a new shinny object in there collection then they will want to sell the team. but I don't think there will be very many buyers for the team.
Casey, considering that this whole A’s move to Vegas has been plagued at every step by epic incompetence, I don’t understand how you still think the move will happen.
Raiders never won in Oakland either. Oh, yeah, maybe 40 years ago. I predict the A's land in Sacramento. Which sucks but at least it will still be in NoCal.
Huge mistake being a nomad team 10% of their home games, their best place to land is 12th and Broadway in downtown Oakland, Sacramento small market #20 not going to work, Las Vegas small market #40 a disaster. The Commissioner being on board with this is misdirected as well. Worst no one is listening.
There’s an big event supporting Veterans Day of gratitude at Allegiant Stadium .. The Raiders are all in and showing great support and that’s what will endear them to the community..The A’s are nowhere to be found showing how much they look forward to their new community…Fk the A’s stay in Sacramento, go to Salt Lake City ..Or best yet sell the team and stay in Oakland
Things are getting financially difficult for most people and from what I hear the admission to all sports and the food and drink there is very expensive. I have no interest in watching men play games with a ball. I would rather be outside doing something.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Fisher is eyeing that $900M stadium offer from Salt Lake City to MLB for expansion and wondering how he can get his greedy hands on it.
If the A's go to SLC, Fisher won't be going with them. That $900m state subsidy was tied to having the Miller Group get a team through expansion. The only offer to the A's was to play foster market for them as an obsequious favor to Baseball, lending them a surplus stadium until the A's either get sold or Fisher gets his $#!+ together - neither of which will happen. In short, they dodged a bullet...
Nope, I don't see them moving to Vegas, they will either be forced to sell the team, or they will force the current ownership to move to Charles Schwab stadium in Omaha Nebraska and if they can turn it into an ugly multiplex bowl like stadium in order to get 35,000 spectators. And here is the kicker they will have to stay there at least 10 years or get hit with the flip tax
Hi Casey, but wouldnt you objectively say that the Raiders are better off in Vegas? Why didn't Mark Davis get this same intense hatred? Serious question im not trying to be snarky
The Raiders also have a huge diaspora of fans all over California including SoCal from when they played in LA. So Vegas draws Raiders fans from there too. And football is completely different because they have only 8 home games a year to sell tickets for, the games are typically on the weekends, and during the Fall and Winter when the weather is better in Vegas. So they can count on Raiders and opposing team fans to travel to Vegas for the games.
Financially, the Raiders ARE better off and Las Vegas got the excuse it needed to host a Super Bowl every few years. But seeing road team after road team turn the stadium to a temporary home game-- it doesn't feel good.
Las Vegas taxpayers need to watch their wallets. The A’s ownership has been intentionally destroying their fan base for 20+ years. Even when they were successful with young players, they would immediately trade them when they hit their arbitration years or they wouldn’t re-sign them when they became free agents. Maybe the A’s might spend a little money on players so Las Vegas builds the stadium, but it’s almost a 100% guarantee that those “high dollar” players will be gone soon after the construction is completed. The A’s ownership is solely about making money and not winning. The Marlins did the exact same thing to their fans just a few years ago.
After everything that has happened…. Tropicana demolished, agreement with Sac , the renderings being provided by an architect… people are still whining and crying. Plain and simple Oakland and only Oakland is responsible for all the pro teams leaving
This is in continuation of the previous comment, of me criticizing Casey. I love all these odd comments of his. Casey said “ the A’s don’t really want to be in Vegas.” Of course I find that comment absolutely absurd! Newsflash Casey: no one held a gun to Fisher’s head and told him, he must build in Vegas, or else. John Fisher for whatever reason, chose Vegas, he wasn’t under no obligation. Another issue with Casey’s comments. Casey is making such a huge deal of the A’s looking to play 8 home games out of Vegas. Now I understand, Casey isn’t the only one crying about this, but truthfully the only ones I hear crying about this is reporters and journalists, especially ones from Oakland. Frankly, I have yet to hear someone of importance complain about this issue. I have yet to hear Steve Hill from the Vegas complain, he is someone of importance on that. I have yet to hear Nev. Gov. Joe Lombardo complain about that. If it were such a big deal, perhaps Lombardo would be against it. I have yet to hear MLB or the Commissioner’s office complain on this. I have yet to hear Bally’s complain about the A’s playing fewer games here. Certainly if that was a tremendous issue, Bally’s wouldn’t be happy with the reduced revenue on their property. My point I’m waiting to hear anyone other than Oakland bandwagoners complain about this.
Oakland fans had a chance to support the A’s for decades and didn’t! Yes, they have a small number of loyal fans, but that’s it. No one wants to go to Oakland to see a game….
that 8 games is just standard MLB language. It's in the new Rays stadium in St Pete. All MLB teams have to be open to 8 games outside of their own stadium, but highly likely 8 won't happen.
Baseball is a dying sport anyway. Nobody wants to set around and watch a bunch of roided, pajama wearing dudes stand around and wait all game for the ball to come to them.

There's plenty of shit to do in LV other than go see a team lose.
After Bally’s is having there issues I actually think the deal is more likely not to go through now. I am curious if they will be allowed to stay in Sac without another vote and does the relocation fee and clause about selling the team still apply.
Make a video of the new A's and Bally's planned site.
Thanks Casey. Great stuff as always
Whats funny is mlb just recently gave a lifetime ban to a player for betting on games. Imagine howsl its going to go once the a's are there l😅
I predict the As will actually play in Sacramento for many years, and never move to Vegas. I don’t think they can permanently play there but it will work in the short-term. And that can grow to a much longer period than the original plan.
Baseball played indoors is sacrilege
Dude, Casey, wouldn't these games (like every other home game played remotely) be compensated by MLB???? I'm guessing they request 8 games and MLB approves 4
I think the money would go to the owner, not to the parties who financed the stadium.
I live in Vegas and this makes zero sense where are they going to get these fans from ? Other then Vegas. So they want to play 10% of home games where ? If they want fans discount 10% or more of home games for locals
I hope Nevada wises up and backs out of all financing, leaving the A's with no real place to go.
A’s won’t exist by 2027
🔥🥃
No team will go defunct, there’s many other teams who have had it far worse anyway
MLB wants it. Vegas power players want it. Too many forced ready to push it across the finish line despite the A’s traditional incompetence.
Seattle feels your pain. Some Cali dbag tried to hijack the Seahawks too.
The A's brand is permanently trashed. I hope they never win in Vegas. That goes the same with the Raiders.
Raiders don’t have black hole and no home field advantage either
Raiders never won in Oakland either. Oh, yeah, maybe 40 years ago. I predict the A's land in Sacramento. Which sucks but at least it will still be in NoCal.
You was never a fan! Go root for the giants!
As a Giants and 49ers fan it sucks to not have the athletics and raiders in Oakland anymore .
F the raiders.
I am a MLB fan and wonder where these Vegas A's fans are. I have see NONE!
Nice job, Casey !
It is a con.
In short, they dodged a bullet...
lol the a’s can kick rocks in Sacramento
But I totally agree with the A’s Ownership is a moocher and moocher and looking for the best welfare deal.
Casey Pratt favorite mayor home just got raided 😂😂 by the FBI
Now he works for her. LOL
Dude lost me when he put the WNBA in front of the NHL or even Little League Baseball for that matter. All I’ve heard since then is static.
Hi Casey, but wouldnt you objectively say that the Raiders are better off in Vegas? Why didn't Mark Davis get this same intense hatred? Serious question im not trying to be snarky
Mark did a better job. He had to do it first, so he had to do it right. Now, Vegas doesn’t need a stadium as badly, they have one. And NFL>MLB.
Kaval was lying to Casey and the city of Oakland for YEARS 👀🤥🤥🤥🤥. There’s a special solace for you Dave.
Financially, the Raiders ARE better off and Las Vegas got the excuse it needed to host a Super Bowl every few years.
But seeing road team after road team turn the stadium to a temporary home game-- it doesn't feel good.
@@HHSGDFootballJPD Yup, it's gross. But most team owners don't care who is lining their pockets, as long as it's happening.
The Marlins did the exact same thing to their fans just a few years ago.
it would be funny if they stay in Sac after all this
AAAteam is in Vegas
Coming from someone on X
After everything that has happened…. Tropicana demolished, agreement with Sac , the renderings being provided by an architect… people are still whining and crying. Plain and simple Oakland and only Oakland is responsible for all the pro teams leaving
This is in continuation of the previous comment, of me criticizing Casey.
I love all these odd comments of his.
Casey said “ the A’s don’t really want to be in Vegas.”
Of course I find that comment absolutely absurd!
That stadium smelled like sewage for the last 2 seasons. The place has been a dump for decades.
The people of Las Vegas don’t want the As. The Politicians want the A’s, worst team in MLB from an organizational standpoint.
No way 70 percent are going to locals maybe 40
$500 million from Vegas investors? Nope.
See you on Opening Day 2028!
It’s a reason why Teams keep leaving Oakland! Oakland has zero Accountability! Vivek Las Vegas!
that 8 games is just standard MLB language. It's in the new Rays stadium in St Pete. All MLB teams have to be open to 8 games outside of their own stadium, but highly likely 8 won't happen.
Wait til the day the Yankees play in Las Vegas... that will embarass the league
1-666 CARS 4 FISH
Carpet baggers
Every team has this clause in their stadium agreement, required by MLB. Quit getting your bowels in an uproar
SELL
GREED was the main reason for this entire fiasco Casey ,,lisnt GREED one of the 7 deadly sins?
Fisher will sell the team because the Value of the team is at a all time high. Trust me, Fisher and Kaval are liars..
And you heard it here
I thought I read somewhere there’s a clause that they can’t sell the team for markup from all of this. I don’t remember the specifics
6/7/2024, Fireworks Night at the coliseum......
How about Oaklanders stay outa Las Vegas business it’s not there team anymore 😂😂
Stay in Sacramento. We don’t need anymore of Oaklands trash sports teams
It's still a done deal!!! It's still the Las Vegas Athletics!!! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!
Baseball is a dying sport anyway. Nobody wants to set around and watch a bunch of roided, pajama wearing dudes stand around and wait all game for the ball to come to them.
Not true, attendance actually went up last year from the previous year.
Could be worse you could have the Cleveland INDIANS ownership.
They're not nearly as bad as Fisher
@@robertmikinkaThey’ve gone longer without winning a championship though.
@@RYMAN1321 True. FIsher is still the worse of the 2.
Yes Fisher sucks, yes he's shady but they're leaving dude.
Let the bitterness go and move on.
