The problem is where they mount to the end of the handlebar. The one I ordered doesn't have a spacer so the throttle has to be cut off the end.

Why are they making the backbones out of aluminum? Steel is far less likely to bend and clamp down/sever your fingers in a nasty crash. And don’t tell me weight saving, as people then turn around and put steel bar weights on the ends of their bars. What are the dimensions on the steel on the X Factory within the plastic? Is it pathetic?
