    Thank you for this step by step video, makes it easy to follow. Just came from garage and one thing i didn't manage was screw in that 35mm m6 bolt on throttle side, just goes hard and I feel that I will strip the threads so gave up. I will try tomorrow to retapp the thread, maybe its paint or shavings messing around... One thing Barkbuster should do is make right spacer 1 or 2mm thicker so we dont have to cut the peace of grip but ok... Greetings from balkans.

      Hello there! Always good to hear from the Balkan riders here on the channel! Glad you enjoyed the video.
      Do you have the Rally or regular L version?
      For the Rally it’s a different mounting kit from Barkbusters

    On the gas throttle, it is make sense to use some silicone/liquid gasket between spacer and rubber to prevent sand and dust coming inside moving part. Especially if you falling down on the sand.

    I like to cut a little square of old tire tube and put it in between the inner clamps and the bar. That prevents metal-on-metal contact so bumping your guards into trees or the ground doesn't cause the entire guard to shift and scratch the bars (and this will eventually rust).

    On my 2021 CRF300L I tapped out the bar ends from 6mm to 8mm, so I could use the stronger 8mm bolts that come with most wraparound hand guards. Did you do this or has Honda changed to 8mm bar ends on the stock bars?Thanks for your videos!

    • @RoiaMoto

      Hey mate
      No changes from Honda. I used the original handlebar and the 6mm bolt that came with the kit.
      I’ve seen that this a common modification.
      Do you know the reference of the Barkbusters you have bought? Was it the mounting kit specific for the CRF300L?
      Cheers

    • @donreed1133

      @@RoiaMoto I see, didn’t know some kits come with 6mm bolts. I first used Acerbis Tri-Fit which were all plastic. Recently I upgraded to Zeta handguards which are aluminum and have much more adjustable mounting capability than the Acerbis Tri-Fit. I also liked that the Zeta model I bought have a downward dip at the end of the handlebars that allow easier access to and from the handlebar grips. Both mounting kits I bought only contained 8mm bolts. It’s good to see companies like Barkbusters are recognizing the need for other size bolts! Thanks

    Are they plu g n play with the stock handlebar?

    • @RoiaMoto

      Yes, with the stock handlebar it will work without any issues. That’s what is shown on this video. Make sure to get the model listed in the description of the video if you have the stock handlebar.
      If you don’t have the stock handlebar bar then another model is needed.

    • @RoiaMoto

      Thanks!
      Yes, I would say specially in first gear at lower speeds it is jerky. I usually then also use the clutch to modulate the power.
      This is a common problem with new motorcycle that need to comply with EURO 5 emission regulations.

    • @drorvega9446

    • @RoiaMoto

      The simple suggestion which helps a little bit is to install a Throttle Tamer. You can search online for "G2 Throttle Tamer". I'm going to install one shortly on my CRF300L and will share the process here on the channel.
      The other option which is expensive, is to pay for a new tuning of the engine. In the end the real problem is that the engine is tuned out of the factory extremely lean to comply with emission regulations. An experience tuner can change that and give you a smooth power delivery.

      @@RoiaMoto thanks, bro! I will try first variant. Do you use Tusk accessories? Panniers, for example.

    • @RoiaMoto

      I see that the Tusk stuff is very popular in the USA but I’ve never seen here where I live for sale.
      There will be a video shortly here on the channel showing each upgrade I have done so far.
      Do you have access to Tusk where you live?

    Zeta or barkbusters?

    • @RoiaMoto

      The thing I don’t like with the Zeta is that they stick out much more from the handlebar. There is a bushing which is much longer than the Barkbusters.
      check some installation videos of the Zeta to compare.
      I can’t say anything bad about zeta but I prefer more the Barkbusters.
