You already had the best mid size, the 570 and 650 twins, they were awesome and stood out from the crowd, they were fun to ride. These may aswell be re-badged honda foremans or arctic cat alterras. How long until bass pro sells these as tracker off road is my question.
Makes sense for them to do this in my opinion, they are shooting for durability vs Honda and Yamaha which are single cylinder, and trying to make more of a workhorse machine to broaden their market. I’m in Can Am groups and everytime someone would bring up what they should get 650 or 850? Ppl always say go bigger… so they have the 850 and 1000 for power and sport enthusiasts and they have the 500 and 700 for the durable, not as much heat off the engine, mid size and price point for an average rider. All makes sense from business growth and sales perspective.
It's like they're banking on ppl getting lost on their way to buy a polaris, yamaha, honda, cfmoto, suzuki quad and somehow ending up at a can-am dealer and not being able to spot the difference.
The Outlander 500/700 was made for the long haul, hassle-Free. See more details here: can-am.brp.com/off-road/us/en/models/all-terrain-vehicles/outlander-500-700.html
All imma say is that this hole new revamp of the outlander was not needed the old 570 was better all around, including the xmr 570, have no clue why they would get rid of the trailing arm suspension in the rear and WHY DID YOU GET RID OF THE VTWIN ENGINE!!!!????? I really hope this does not replace g2 outlander
Only thing that is better is maintenance. I don't see much reasons to choose this over competitors now when the v-twin has been killed allthough I understand that you're returning to the nostalgic days of Bombardier Quest 650.
I really hope the don’t get rid of the 650 twin the the 2023 renegade and replace it with the 700 single, so please don’t get rid of the twin in the renegade can-am 🥺
Wow getting rid of their best motor the 650 has been around forever only to be replaced by a single with 50 horse, sad. Can ams are about power and that v twin sound not reliability. The Japanese are gonna love this news.
I know looks are subjective but it looks like a brand that almost went under 7 years ago and has had mixed maintenance records mashed together with its old rival to create a ugly identity crisis that has its old bones under the skin
Can-Am, I’m begging you please make a sport quad two stroke and four stroke and you know what also make a damn dirtbike lineup please I guarantee I will go to your dealership and pick one up
So your gonna offer a 10 year belt warranty and sell it cheaper than a yamaha or Honda or is 15k like almost all your machine and lasts 3 years and need a rebuild?
What are you guys thinking? You had a unique offering and now you want to directly compete with the Japanese brands by offering a clone of the Japanese brands?? Nobody needs this or wants this.
2023 outlander 850/1000 approved! 2023 outlander 500/700 not approved! we are supposed to advance in options not to retrieve, please do not let communism come to US, previous years outlanders were perfectly designed

@@CANAMOFFROAD Are the weights on the spec sheets correct? It seems every new model got reeeal heavy relative to what it is replacing. A 650 Hunting model 750 lbs and a 700 Hunting edition 828 lbs? Why?
Those are the ugliest machines and worse idea to move to a single cylinder. As an owner of three can am's I just lost interest and will now be moving to a polaris
It would be exciting if you would BRING BACK SPORT QUADS!!!!!! Stop with the freaking side by sides man. Sure, they are useful, but sport quads are needed, Yamaha can’t be the only option for the rest of us!!
I’m a Yamaha guy myself, but the grizzly 700 makes 36 more cc’s, yet the outlander 700 makes 2 more horsepower. The grizzly 700 also costs a whopping $4,000 more.
@@smilesproductions coming from a kq owner. The price is so good with similar performance. With this market I don’t see why I shouldn’t sell mine for 9k and buy this for 10k. 1000 spent on a brand new work quad. I’ll take it.

They shouldn’t have went with a single cylinder , the twin was so good
I said the same thing only reason I dont like it
I agree and x mr looks somewhat like the new mud pro
@@urielrdz30 if they kept the vtwin 100%, but they really lost me with this one

this so just to replace the smaller machines

Looks like my 22 570 xmr is the last canam cuz if I'm going single cyl I'll just go honda or yamaha
Just get an 850 Vtwin ball baby
The 450, 570 and 650 were light years ahead of these shitboxes. You are reverse engineering and it’s going to destroy your customer base.
Genuinely hope this body isn’t replacing the 850 & 1000 outlanders
No it s not
These are replacing only the the 450/570 outlanders.

I want the 900 ace Turbo R motor dropped into an outlander or renegade.
The drag race and mud scene would enjoy this upgrade.
