  • Just some clips of riding in upstate PA just outside of Laceyville. Bikes a 1983 honda XL600R, runs great, tons of fun. Got some street and some offroad action in here. Filmed on my gopro 3

This bike was my great love - I rode it for more than 130.000 km, on one piston and cylinder, no works necessary. Between March and August 1985, I made 60.000 km. Absolutely outstanding quality.

They are great bikes but 60,000km if we include March and August as full months , means for 6 months straight every day you rode 333kms. Lol c'monnn don't bullshit me!! 🤣 Anyways the bike sounds almost like a Harley lol what did you have on for headers n pipe? N you still have it?

Love these bikes. Although I kinda miss my ol' Pw80 to after watching this! It was my first bike 12-13 years ago :D

Is your timing off or is that just me?

What mods have you done on this bike? It sounds very nice. Must have at least an after market exhaust?

Has a thrush glasspack muffler (cherry bomb) I welded on and just adjusted the jets a little. Does have a 50 tooth rear sprocket so has crazy amounts of torque

Ben Silcox What kind of top end can you get with your bike? What other mods would you consider doing still? Thanks.

It cruises around 45 comfortably and tops out at around 75. I have no plan for any future mods. Thought about pods but can cause tuning issues and they get dirtier a lot faster. It's plenty fast enough for me with just an open exhaust
