@Glenn Krenz like "Shall not be infringed". In all honesty liberals claim that the second is about muzzle loaders. So if they can take things out of context, why not us, even just a little bit. Another example of this would be Muller. "We found no evidence that the president was culpable, but that doesn't exonerate him either". Well, I think Muller goes home every night and beats the crap out of his wife.... I have no evidence that he's culpable of that, but it doesn't exonerate him either...............

Even though a full auto fires dozens or even 100s of rounds 1 single round can only hit 1 target (not counting through and throughs) I would say this was what the founding fathers had in mind. Having been a long time Military and Civil Police Officer, my take on this dilemma is the major problem lies in the outlook additude that these Civilian Police Forces have towards Citizens. As when a Civilian Police Department erroneously contemptfully refers to Citizens as; "Civilians" there in is your major problem factor. As such Civilian Police Departments are assuming the defacto role of a Standing Occupying Army. They have forgotten they are " Civil Servants" to adhere to the US Constitution as the base of the rule of law. As well as to the adherence of the Peelian Principles of Policing. Instead they often act like a;"Sanding Occupation Army" of "Civil Serpents", who arrogantly view the Citizens as "Subjects"!.

I don't think police should be allowed to have any firearms that private citizens can't. If a state wants to ban standard capacity magazines, then their cops should be limited to 10 rounds as well. This would also go for politicians' bodyguards.
Literally what the second amendment was for, the people being able to for non government created groups (militias) to either fight the government or aid in fighting foreign or domestic threats. Allowing them access to the the very armaments that the government has access to and the only limiting factor to a person being their interest and budget. But the politicians over time were able to convince the civilians that firearms aren't needed for their safety, that the state can take care of all of it. And over time of course the state has also tried to talk the civilian population into removing other responsibilities which in turn will remove their rights and create a dependency on the state. Which even worse will eventually turn into the whole "don't bite the hand that feeds you".
I understand the premise here, I just think it's wrong. We should have any firearms we like but, not because they allow us to. Because we're going to have them and they can just plain kiss our ass. Sooner or later, we all as a whole better stand up for ourselves and our rights and stop tolerating the infringements of our liberties, all of them. If they want our firearms, they're gonna have to come and get em. I just don't get the mindset of wanting to infringe and take and threaten law abiding Americans so bad, that'd people would actually fight us. Other Americans. Those people might b citizens but, they aren't American.
To be quite blunt, the safest pistol you can buy is probably a Beretta 92FS, a gun from 1976. That thing is almost comically loaded with safety features. Contrast that with a Glock, and the myriad of guns that are functional clones: They have a drop safe, that's it. The trend in modern pistols is to make them extremely simple to operate, which means removing most of the safety features. There's a case to be made for this, people often forget things while under combat stress. A simpler gun means a smaller chance that the person forgets how to use it in the heat of the moment. However, this makes the gun less safe for routine handling. I don't think it's the government's business to dictate what guns you can and cannot own based on safety, especially since the risk of an unsafe design is overwhelming to yourself. However, I'm not going to argue that newer guns are safer. For the most part (especially with pistols), they're not.
I left California years ago back when the governance was governor of California he said he wanted to rise our tags three times more. I packed up and move to Ohio.

Every firearm is safe, per se. It is the person wielding it that may not be safe. However, until the wielder demonstrates how unsafe they are, it is still legal for them to have it.
Yeah cars are dangerous too and bicycles and knives and skate boards and lawnmowers and tractors. Damn let's just ban everything so all the pussies of the world who constantly fear dying can have a false sense of security.
@Glenn Krenz When you have to beg the gov't to get a gun (aka, background check) and only from guns selected by gov't (aka NFA), you aren't threatening any gov't foreign or domestic. When they say "give it up", you will gladly give it up without a fuss.
Don’t forget New Zealand’s 🇳🇿 knee jerk Firearm legality reform resulting from the Mosque mass shooting we had in 2019… Now we are no longer allowed. semi auto centre-fires, shotguns with removable mags or tubes longer than 5 shots, many many classic Antique and new Lever Actions that held over 10 rounds, think Marlin, Henry 45lc or 45 colt, 44 mag etc. Some dwindle in value from $8k down to $1200 after being permanently modified to hold less. Pistols are going to become even harder to attain. Already have to visit club 10 times a year, can’t. but one for 18mths, has to stay at and only be shot at club. 3 gun is now very different , as is 2 gun 🤨(1 now being a semi auto 22msg or 22lr instead of a .223 or 7.62x39 or in some cases 300blkout. Service rifle shoots are now 1 third the size they were! No AR 15’s etc. It’s terrible 😢 I personally had to hand back over almost $4,000 in firearms. i used them for sport, hunting, target shooting.
Colin - your comments are spot on. The State of California continues to restrict guns otherwise available in other states, resulting in fewer choices and higher prices in an attempt to reduce gun ownership.

I agree, but sadly we live in a society that values the individual pursuit over the greater good. Nobody is willing to stand together for anything in this country, hell most people can't even control their emotions when it comes to any issue, so how the hell would they hold it together long enough to have any meaningful impact? This monster of a machine we call "government" has been so absolutely corrupted there is no way around this other than some form of massive revolution. this cannot be fixed through "the proper channels" those are long gone. Agreed, but I'm definitely _not_ holding my breath. There are simply FAR *_too many_* entitled, and slavishly 'progressive' urban voters in California (and other liberal enclaves) who unconsciously ( or _knowingly_ ) relish the prospect of the government controlling _every_ aspect of their lives, from cradle to grave. Why else would our society keep complacently tolerating the *blatant double standards* that politicians, 'celebrities,' and the affluent 'elite' of our society continue to live by, _generation after generation?_
This is accurate. Before I escaped from there, I went through the frustration of trying to find a handgun I wanted that was on the approved list. All handguns are unapproved by default and the manufacturers have to go through the very difficult and expensive approval process, and repeat for every single different model and version they want to sell. I think even if 1 version just has different sights than another, etc. it needs to be approved separately. Apparently this doesn't count as infringement....
According to the laws here, all new handguns are deemed unsafe, we can only buy old models, cause you know, old designs are the safest..... It's why almost every person here has a gen 3 G19 or G17
Or an FMK. Since they are made in california. Ergo you dont have to worry about shipping over state lines. So they freely sell californians threaded barrels. Check them out. They also sell glock lowers with no #

Shades of what is happening here in Canada. The Government banned the AR-10 and then (literally less than a month later) the Conservation Officers (game wardens) in the Yukon ordered....guess what....AR-10s because they were immensely practical and useful against large game thanks to ease of use. This after the federal government said that they had no place in Canada and were totally unsuited to any practical use like hunting.
"....shall not be infringed...." It doesn't say, "...except in California..." So how the heck can they tell you which guns are "more safe" than another?
When the courts are packed in favor of the government there, they can do as they like. Until the SCOTUS stops dragging their feet it will continue. DC finally took their hit on ownership, this needs to move forward.
Well in my book a safe gun is one that would not injure the operator because of a bad design. For example an unsafe gun would be the SIG P320 which has a documented problem of discharging when dropped.
@@emberfist8347 good point. I also don't like the double trigger acting as a safety. Much rather flip a switch than rack a slide when I'm in a position of defense.
If FN told LAPD they can only sell then what's on the approved hand gun roster, it'd be gone tomorrow. Problem is that manufacturers will continue to sell to governments that infringe in citizens rights.
Nope your wrong about that. The cali government would call barreta or Smith and Wesson or hi-point or someone and get them to sell to them, even if they had to pick from the roster.
Colion, the “roster” is just the start! California now has a roster regulation that says for every one new handgun that gets on the roster, they can arbitrarily drop three models OFF the roster creating a de facto gun ban. Before long, you won’t be able to bay ANY handgun in California. There is currently a challenge to the roster (BTW, the roster was created by our current vpotus harris the tyrant when she was AG of the state) creeping its way thru the court system as being unconstitutional, but by the time there is a SCOTUS ruling, it will probably be too late.
I don't understand why people follow these criminal, unconstitutional, and illegal so called laws?? So any criminal, like Gavin Newsom, or any cartel member, can just scribble on a piece of paper, and everyone just obeys, ignoring the real and true law of the land? That's pretty stupid if you ask me.
I heard it's worse that you stated - supposedly, even the SAME GUN as is currently on the roster, but in a DIFFERENT COLOR counts as a "new gun". Say "Glock 19 black" and "Glock 19 FDE" are on the roster, but if Glock took a black G19 and painted it pink, that's a different gun and has to go through the "add a whole new gun to the roster" hoopla.
@@ung427 you're not wrong, and you won't catch me arguing with you. It is completely ridiculous. Dealers can only sell what's on the approved roster. Anyone moving into CA with a non-approved firearm had better leave it behind, because it's probably a felony with mandatory multiple years jail time just to have one in your possession. For example, I think the G19 gen3 is allowed, but the gen5 is not, so anywhere else in the country you can own a G19 gen5, but CA will lock you up. And you can only buy ammo from an FFL, provided you pass the background check. I'm glad I don't live in CA.
I tried buying a Springfield XDm 9mm when I lived in CA. They couldn't sell it to me because it was "police and military only". Needless to say, I got out of CA and now I own one (among others).
I'm waiting for an attorney to take the case of an LAPD having a negligent discharge of his "unsafe" 509 (as declared by the state of California) into a victim; and then suing Los Angeles into the stone age.
why won't gun manufacturers stand up for gun owners? let's say they refuse to sell guns to federal, state and local agencies in any state that bans or restricts that gun.
I wish people would be less apt to pay extremely high prices for goods from manufacturers that primarily cater to govt contracts. These companies don't care about the people.
It's government that goes after gun manufacturers and there goal was to end the 2nd amendment by having no factory issue and it almost worked I said almost bc many like myself can make my own guns and ammo and yes I still buy factory issue and can pass a background check so basically like the prohibition failed but our government like to say oh look at other countries and guns and none are even remotely the same for many reasons like population size or diversity or geography bc we have two countries that boarders but one thing government likes more than money is power and law after law I have yet to see 100s of laws ended so once on the books it's done
I imagine large megaphones installed every 100 yards in California with a near monotone voice repeating: "Remember! Always submit to your government's wants and needs. *ITS FOR YOUR SAFETY* "

@Glenn Krenz Unfortunately, this nation was practically _built_ on the double-standard...
The roster doesn't mean safe. For instance the ruger 1911 doesn't pass the CA drop test because they use a titanium firing pin. It's not even allowed to be drop tested because it's using a material not on the accepted materials list for a firing pin even though it is better. It's not a critique at all. It's a black and white list that has nothing to do with safety. Law enforcement is still able to buy guns that do not qualify to be on the list even for personal purchases.
@@dawg1982 agreed, I like Colion. And I’m as pro gun as they get, but he kinda willfully misinterpreted why we can’t get it. By saying they aren’t safe. This isn’t the reason, it’s because it’s not on the roster, due to the micro stamping crap.

Both in a way. I think Baltimore wanted to ban a particular gun for being unsafe. Cops kept having negligent discharges. In fact they wanted to sue the manufacturer. Somebody in the trial discovery process pointed out it was ONLY Baltimore police having that problem. The case disappeared.
@@dawg1982 To add to this, CA has or wants to pass a lwa that says for every gun that gets on the roster every year, 3 need to come off. What does 3 off for every 1 on have to do with safety? As such Civilian Police Departments are assuming the defacto role of a Standing Occupying Army.
They have forgotten they are " Civil Servants" to adhere to the US Constitution as the base of the rule of law. As well as to the adherence of the Peelian Principles of Policing.
Instead they often act like a;"Sanding Occupation Army" of "Civil Serpents", who arrogantly view the Citizens as "Subjects"!.

My local store is LEO / Mil discount only so that is to be expected. I don't think police should be allowed to have any firearms that private citizens can't. If a state wants to ban standard capacity magazines, then their cops should be limited to 10 rounds as well. This would also go for politicians' bodyguards.
Sure, but when did logic or fairness have anything to do with overbearing unconstitutional control of the slav..I mean citizens?
It also, ironcially, makes newer, safer guns unavailable, while older less safe guns still are.

All handguns are unapproved by default and the manufacturers have to go through the very difficult and expensive approval process, and repeat for every single different model and version they want to sell. I think even if 1 version just has different sights than another, etc. it needs to be approved separately. Apparently this doesn't count as infringement....
Yep, you can buy a gen 3 glock but not a gen 4 or 5
You escaped west korea? I applaud your bravery, good for you.
They also sell glock lowers with no #
I think its the only reason glock still makes the gen 3 guns.
@@krotchlickmeugh627 And I live in San Diego and the city council just made 80% parts illegal... It never ends.
@@Bloosee lol thats what im telling you. Its the same as forward assist knives. They are illegal to import.
That means importing from even nevada is illegal.
They arent illegal to ship from county to county.
@@smtbigelow yep many will only buy with a low round mag or a revolver bc places like California and ny
"....shall not be infringed...."
It doesn't say, "...except in California..."
So how the heck can they tell you which guns are "more safe" than another?
Tyranny, son.
There is currently a challenge to the roster (BTW, the roster was created by our current vpotus harris the tyrant when she was AG of the state) creeping its way thru the court system as being unconstitutional, but by the time there is a SCOTUS ruling, it will probably be too late.
the Commifornai will drop the requirement or change it to avoid teh Scotus rulings just like NYC and teh gun ban there.
@@ralphm6901 That's ridiculous. Someone has to stand up, and everyone stand up, enough is enough.
Thanks for all the great videos. I really appreciate all your work
Ahhh, yes... the classic *"Rules for thee, but not for me"* paradox.
I'm waiting for an attorney to take the case of an LAPD having a negligent discharge of his "unsafe" 509 (as declared by the state of California) into a victim; and then suing Los Angeles into the stone age.
Or similarly, finding a spent casing from a crime scene that's not micro stamped, and claiming it must be from a police issue 509.
Born in CA, it stopped being a decent place to live long ago. FINALLY, I can vote with my feet and am.
The mantra of every tyrant "Good for me but not for thee."
Colion: "do you know how frightening it is to..."
Me: aight ima head out
why won't gun manufacturers stand up for gun owners? let's say they refuse to sell guns to federal, state and local agencies in any state that bans or restricts that gun.
I wish people would be less apt to pay extremely high prices for goods from manufacturers that primarily cater to govt contracts. These companies don't care about the people.
It’s about money for them. They don’t actually care about us
It's government that goes after gun manufacturers and there goal was to end the 2nd amendment by having no factory issue and it almost worked I said almost bc many like myself can make my own guns and ammo and yes I still buy factory issue and can pass a background check so basically like the prohibition failed but our government like to say oh look at other countries and guns and none are even remotely the same for many reasons like population size or diversity or geography bc we have two countries that boarders but one thing government likes more than money is power and law after law I have yet to see 100s of laws ended so once on the books it's done
They're a western European manufacturer if the US government asked sternly enough they'd stop selling to civilians all together.

I imagine large megaphones installed every 100 yards in California with a near monotone voice repeating:
"Remember! Always submit to your government's wants and needs. *ITS FOR YOUR SAFETY* "
