- Stock bottom end ls1 trick flow 215cc heads custom ground cam stock lsa blower with a 2.85 upper and 9.0 lower. 15psi. Hendrix 8.8 4:10 geared and built wide ratio t56. Car made 630hp and 580ftlbs.
A few GTO folks have made a lot more power than this and still struggled to break into/stay in the 10s. Many of the T56 guys are doomed in the 11s.
You ran a 10.3x on this pass, with a STICK SHIFT. And trapped 135. All told, you’ve really sorted out this combination and optimized just about all of it. 🍻 🙌

They say turbos are fun on the Gto’s and it might be. But honestly, the LSA is more reliable and can put up some numbers as well.

Nice job brother. I’d be happy to squeeze a 10.9 out of my stick goat. Did you replace the stock t-56 with a wide ratio? And if your running the stock spares up front throw some one inch wheel spacers behind them. Your car will have a more aggressive look.
Yessir wide ratio and 410s. I’d need extended wheel studs to do that

It will end up a h/c LSA/ls1.

What cam were you running? I’m leaning towards the tick v2 blower cam I think
That thing is mean man. Magnum swapping my 470whp Camaro. How are you liking the wide ratio? Currently have 3.55 in the rear that would work with the wide ratio nicely but debating going to 3.90 and running close ratio.
Be to much shifting keep it wide and do 390/410s

Just ordered a lsa kit for my 04. What water pump are you using? I'm currently a meziere wp3919 electric and was told that might not work once I install the lsa kit

LSA CTSV front accessory drive is the way to go. You have to do some modifications to the power, steering line and the AC but other than that it should be a cakewalk, and I think it’s much better than those boost district kits, which are fine, but if you want reliability of OEM and can easily boost more without belt slippage then LSA CTSV front accessories is the way to go. I have it on my both Gto’s.
@buddyrebelgarcia5940 currently in the process of having that done now. It's going on a 6.0 iron block with forged internals, ported 823 heads. Kong xport LSA. 2.45 upper 9.06 lower.
What tires and the back set to not bounce much recently got a gto that im working on
Stiffer the better on a irs car at the track. Has bmr drag bags and lovells hd springs. Tires are a 27x10.5x15 m and h slick
What did do to get those tires under the goat? and what size they
Just rolled fenders and clearanced the rear control arms 27x10x15 m and h slick on a 15x10 7.5 bs weld rts
Does the car not rev Rpms to launch? I thought gtos normally squat before launch
Yes it does just hard to hear over the turbo car. I slipped the clutch so the car would leave nicely instead of squatting hard
