Hey guy's wussup I'm rick and I just watched a few videos of the GTO's and must say wow yo for real I never even gave this kind of car a second look but now after watching them in action on video's I'm starting to look at them in a different way, making me go out a buy one and join the club.
Which one is faster? Which more reliable? Which more fun to drive? Roll race Dig race Back to back Best out of 3 Etc So many things needed to be shown with this opportunity of all 3 different builds side by side. Not hating, just expressing my thoughts 👍🏼
In 2007-08, I did precisely this for my 2005: … I rode in 600whp APS TT GTOs, 570-590whp single turbo rear mount STS GTOs, and Maggie M112 cars, as well as some 450-460whp NA cars. The power delivery and road manners are completely different on each. I ended up building a high compression 402 LS2 that finished with 550whp and 500wtq on 93-octane pump gas. It’s every bit as violent and immediate as the LSA setup shown here in Trey’s car. Went 10.90s at 128 through a built 6-spd and built 3.91 rear. Passenger reactions were always my favorite. Even though this video is four years old, I still have a deep appreciation for your content, Trey! Not enough love left for a very rare Holden platform. 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 ❤️ 💪
Still makes me smile seeing your guys gto cars Which obviously over here is our Holden commodores, the two door versions are called Holden Monaro Those models you have will be our VT to VX series which be from 1999 to 2001 I believe then they changed the shapes for the VY and VZ 2002 to 2006 Which I like to know do you guys have those models in the GTO I own a VZ SS and the shape and look on those are beautiful with wide tyres and low on the back end makes them look fat and tough,
I've done new one piece aluminum driveshaft, racing coil packs, racing plugs and wires, racing harmonic balancer, 270 amp alternator, cold air intake and I think I'm going to do long tube headers and X pipe and cat delete next

Love my 04 that I've owned since 05 when it had 3k miles on it. Will never get rid of it. In fact I'm replacing the cooling system today with some brand new Mishimoto products. Started with my heater bypass control valve blowing out but turned into a "might as well upgrade this and that too" you know how it it. Lol

@@carguy6636 so far 1 piece alum ds, bc coilovers, radius rod bushings, full energy sus bushings, skip shift delete, monster stage 2 clutch, diff mount insert,, as for winter i have to install tsp longtubes w/mids, and slp catback, mishimoto rad, engine/trans mounts, optima batt relocation to trunk, and otr intake. Hopefully get it done by mid summer 🤞🏼
My gtos motor is coming back Monday. Head work, cam, bored .10, heavy duty rods and pistons, got a intake sitting for it full exhaust. Had a 5 way valve job everything that could be done is 😂
I'm thinking about going LSA supercharger as well. I couldn't find an ats turbo kit so I decided on the LSA. I for sure love your channel. Makes me want to do the swap more

Great video. I had an 05 Torrid red with all red interior and gauges, with the SAP package back in 2010. Great car, gave it to my son to drive his junior and senior years in high school. When sold it after graduation because oem parts were impossible to find for a reasonable price.

I am an old school GTO guy with a 1970 convertible with all except Judge options. Did not like what GM did with this version and thought the original concept car had more taste. You guys have made some AWSOME changes and good on you. Every generation has their thing and this is all yours. Thumbs up!!!
Thanks for keeping the GTO’s alive! I thought I was the only one that loves them! Mine will always stay N/A though. Not a huge fan of forced induction even though it’s way faster. Mainly because I love road coursing and FI is not the best for that.

What made me get my ek4 was my uncle. His had 895hp and like 720tq. Imagine being on a plane way up in the sky and you’re looking out of a open door then all of a sudden you’re kicked out and now you’re falling with no parachute. Yeah that’s the feeling I got when he did a pull power to weight ratio is crazy
Just got recommended this video even though its 5 years old. Just got a 05 GTO a while back with 19,477 on it. I may be wrong here, but the wheels on the heads/cam GTO are the 18 inch wheels, I don't believe they are 06 specific. The wheels on the single turbo are 17 inch.
LS3 is a lot tougher than you think. Mine has 53 passes this year shifting in the 7000's plus countless street runs . Not an issue. Going boosted as soon as I go from an 11.04 and into the 10's

You guys should come up to Northern Colorado for some fun. Me and 2 of my buddies have 3 stangs. One Twin turbo, one big single turbo and one centrifical supercharger.
@@juanduran2813 Australian dollars, your right $97k for a new old stock seems about right, you are paying over $200k aud for a 2017 hsv gtsr w1, the last Aus built beast, has a corvette sc v8 etc. Look it up.
Keep that silver on as is. It’s bullet proof, gets 25 mpg on the freeway, merges beautifully, and being pretty stock, will begin to appreciate in value soon. Make it a survivor - you’ll be glad you did.
That turbo looks slow. You really need to CNC port those 243 heads as they don't flow that good stock. They flow almost as much as a stock ls3 head when ported correctly and having a smaller runner will help make good power. Also change the crappy ls2 intake and put a fast 102mm. It's miles better than the factory piece. Change the camshaft to suit that turbo. If he was to do these modifications the results would be drastically improved
i was thinking the same thing- that turbo car is slow thats probably why they didn't talk about numbers :( looks like a nice set up though just needs to get dialed in.
Awsome cars . The issue with the black turbo charged . He’s running a lot of boost for a stock crank it’s not going to last . He will def end up having to rebuilt at some point . Why not start from the bottom up if you want to run that kind of boost

I had the same set up as the silver but had that aftermarket front future spoiler the rest of that ground affect kit was nasty and a rap around truck deck wig back window spoiler, so many hop up in 2005,MISS MY LITTLE GOAT ❤ wish I can share photos on here

I had a chance to buy an '04 GTO with 67k for $8500, clean, bone stock. Had the money but had an emergency popup before I could make the purchase.. I'm glad I had the cash to handle the emergency but I'm driving a Civic now soooo...
I am a fan of the new GTO'S! I AM A HUGE PONTIAC FAN/DIE HARD PONTIAC FAN!!!!!!!! I just happen to have a brother who has a 1973 small block 400 bored .030 over, stroker kit/crank & rods, all balanced,amber lightweight pistons 11/1 compression, offroad cam, aftermarket aluminum heads 202/160 then ported & polished, hydraulic roller rockers, th400 w/ new valve body & B & M shift kit, 3,500 stall, 373 sitting in a 79 z-28 & MAN DOES IT SCREAM!!!!!!!! SO, the same equivilant cubic inch ls based motor should be pushing more hp & torque, not less! The 406 is easily capable of 750 hp & torque all motor, add a bottle or lower the compression & add a turbo & she will scream!

I always admired the gto. They definitely did not get enough love when they were in production during the 2000's. Same with the G8.

I have a 2006 GTO and love it it has a dress up kit heads cam fabricated intake and a jasper transmission along with suspension and exhaust upgrades

I had a chance to buy an '04 GTO with 67k for $8500, clean, bone stock. Had the money but had an emergency popup before I could make the purchase.. I'm glad I had the cash to handle the emergency but I'm driving a Civic now soooo...

I am a fan of the new GTO'S! I AM A HUGE PONTIAC FAN/DIE HARD PONTIAC FAN!!!!!!!! I just happen to have a brother who has a 1973 small block 400 bored .030 over, stroker kit/crank & rods, all balanced,amber lightweight pistons 11/1 compression, offroad cam, aftermarket aluminum heads 202/160 then ported & polished, hydraulic roller rockers, th400 w/ new valve body & B & M shift kit, 3,500 stall, 373 sitting in a 79 z-28 & MAN DOES IT SCREAM!!!!!!!! SO, the same equivilant cubic inch ls based motor should be pushing more hp & torque, not less! The 406 is easily capable of 750 hp & torque all motor, add a bottle or lower the compression & add a turbo & she will scream!
I like the factory look on the one with the heads cam, but I'd probably would've picked a darker color though.
