Thank you for posting this good information!!!!!! The kits with the large regulator cost as high as 350 and are not needed if you're running natural gas or propane with a regulator, I scored a 5000w generator for less than a hundred from my neighbor because it needed a carb rebuild. It's really hard to justify rebuilding some carbs, especially when you can do this upgrade, Great video.
V Power Equipment, This was the only video that actually explained that this is a low pressure flow control carb, Not a high pressure regulator that nobody needs anyhow, I spread your information on Amazon, Thanks again!
I installed this on my Generac gp8000e and it runs like a champ on propane and gasoline.. haven't tried natural gas yet but have no doubt that the genny will run .
So . would i be able to use this and hook into the natural gas at my home to run the generator . Would i need a regulator or anything other than this tri fuel carb.
What size thread is on the hose barb that screws in? I need to replace mine and change to a 3/8 flare fitting to hook my propane hose to. I have heard it is 12 mm but there is a 1.25 thread pitch and a 1.50 thread pitch.
Have any video's using this on Natural Gas. I haven't found a single video review with this Carb running on Natural Gas make's me skeptical of buying this Kit.
The issue I have with my own, when the gas pressure is very low, and I turned on my AC, the generator begins to jerk and voltage fluctuates. The generator is a 3.1kv. Also, when the gas cylinder is filled with gas to capacity, it runs the AC well. So does the gas pressure level affects the voltage the generator produce?
@@efeanderson689 Something I found, when the cylinder gets close to empty, the pressure drops causing your air fuel ratio to become erratic. A way I found around this is to put the cylinder in a basin or something and then pour boiling water over the cylinder (2 liters or so). This will then raise the pressure inside the cylinder
yes the bowl will have gas in it some times the generator will drain that bowl first and sometimes it will just start running on LP. So if you are storing the generator and have run on gasoline we recommend draining the bowl
Sir i have company fitted same dual carburetor. My problem is how to adjust gas setting when i switch it to CNG fuel supply get low but if i move it little towards lpg than fuel get stable supply. Please need little guid for this 2nd thing my generator keep missing in startup but get stable after few mints

There is a set of screws in the control knob to fine tune the unit however I must say it is almost always not needed

Of all the instructions on You Tube this is withjoiut a doubt the best and easiest to follow. Thanks, PR
Thank, you answered several questions. Good video

You guys are the only ones that have the carb kit for westinghouse 7500 watt gen thanks !!!!!!!!
Just ordered this still waiting for it to come in the mail. Looking forward to upgrading my generator.

Why do these not work on inverter generators? Like the Predator 4550/3650 watt model 59192.

What thread pitch is the brass fitting with the hose barb on it, that the propane line fits on?
Hi,
just purchased, for natural gas, is there a quick connect available to attach to the carb? thanks
Looking for this conversion for briggs engine 5.5kw sold as Troy built. Great presentation! 👍
sorry we don not have one
Didn't show how natural gas is hooked up
i have a question what if you get a surging situation when running on propane after you have done the setup. but it runs fine on gasoline .
Thank you for the video. Please could you indicate the regulator pressure for the LPG side?
no higher than 1psi about .47-.55

Informative. Thanks
The only video that explains positive fuel shutoff at the regulator…other hook up allow gas flow if engine dies…
Would this work to convert a propane grill to a natural gas grill without having to switch out the orifices?
6:35 When you talk about switching from Gasoline to LP, isn't the float bowl still full of gasoline or does the switching process bypass the bowl?

Does your westinghouse 7500 kit support the 12500starting/9500running as well?
sorry it does not we do not have one for that generator
Good info, thank you!
What happens if you accidentally have both, gasoline and NG flowing to it?
not 100% sure but I think the generator will stumble and stall
Where can I find de calburator
Do you have a conversion kit for a Westinghouse VH10000?
sorry we do not
How can we save the gas,if generator is consuming gas that is the hat I want to ask you sir
Finally
More about tank regulators
Camera is too far away. Can't really see what you are doing.
Emailed never heard baxk
