But... the character of unplugged versions of these songs is different-not better or worse-from the studio/video version and ends up with different character than the original performance from which it was based. _It'd be completely awesome to see you provide compare and contrast studio versions against these intimate live performances._ (Ex.: How do vocalists and bands alter their approach to different performance settings?) ...while I'm at, recommend *"Superhuman"* from *Charlotte Wessels* (again!😛) 🤙🏼
Surprise review. Not many delve into Pretty Reckless. Marks for using the German word Dur for a major key, with diphthong being a small added bonus. Taylor Momsen is really an underrated vocalist. Great control. And very powerful with that rare piercing quality to her voice when she really lays into it.
Honestly I think this happens to a lot of metal vocalists. Loads of people have no idea how much of a power house they really are. Just the way Taylor can project emotions sells me on her. Her voice is so hauntingly powerful and straight to the heart. Give me a good metal/rock vocalist any day.
So there's a lot of great Pretty Reckless songs: "Going to Hell," "House on a Hill," "Miss Nothing," "Make Me Wanna Die," and of course, "Heaven Knows." But if you really want to hear how deep the damage goes, the song you want is "Kill Me," where she goes into pretty explicit detail about what happened to her as a child star, among other things. If you check that one out, remember to buckle up and be ready for a real rollercoaster of negative emotion. And if you want to hear her and Lzzy Hale together, check out the cover that she, Lzzy, and Maria Brink from In This Moment released of Queen's "We Will Rock You," last year. There's a lot of menace in that cover.
I think Under the Water is also a very good, very dark song she did and goes well with "25". I've been hooked since someone showed me "Make Me Wanna Die" and there are almost no songs on any of her albums I would say are bad, some are just okay mind you, but none I'd skip and say it was bad.
Taylor Momsen and The pretty reckless just keep getting better and better as time goes on. I've been a fan since the first album and each one seems to get better and better. Taylor has such a strong powerful and emotional voice.
no, that's Michelle Branch's band. actually, their name choice is poor since theres a punk rock band with the same name. "pretty" reckless" is the most generically used youtube band names. not good for that choice but she does have talent. go michelle!
when people say "underrated" it leaves me thinking, ok by who? who is suppose to rate them? because people that find the band like it so... i don't get that, under or over rated are not real things.
Man, I’ve been dropping Maria all the time. Whore, The Gun Show, Fighter, Burn…literally anything ITM is vocally…and musically…amazing. I hope you get to them soon. The Pretty Reckless have some VERY emotionally intense songs. "House on a Hill" and "Under the Water" are very emotional, underrated songs with fantastic vocals. Taylor is a very good vocalist who just keeps getting better.
When I first heard of the Pretty Reckless, I was inclined to write them off as a vanity project for a bored actress who thought she could sing. Then I listened, and really enjoyed the music, and saw some interviews with Taylor that made me think, “no, this girl really loves rock ‘n’ roll.” It’s been great watching her develop as an artist.
I had no idea who she was, and my first exposure to them was them opening for Stone Sour. I was in London for the week, and the next day I had all 3 of their albums.
I am OVER THE MOON that you have gotten to Taylor's vocals. The unplugged casual Just Tonight is one of my favourite vocals ever! Incredible... thank you soooo much for giving us (me hehe) your take on her voice!!
I'm so glad Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless are finally getting the appreciation they deserve. When their first album came out there were a lot of people thinking it was just a phase or a vanity project from a teenage actress looking to get some street cred, but I'm glad she's proven that she's a real deal rocker. Plus the music of the Pretty Reckless has been getting better with each new album, they have a number of pretty great songs. And since Lzzy Hale got mentioned, as much as I adore her voice, Halestorm's music leaves me quite indifferent by comparison to the Pretty Reckless. I find myself listening to their covers far more than their original songs. Lzzy absolutely rips on Dissident Aggressor.
Yeah, I remember her being mocked when she started music. Not just side eyed, but straight up mockery. It was really quite cruel stuff honestly. Not surprising, it was the mid to late 00s, and we’re only just now digging in to how awfully cruel and sexist the tabloid/celebrity culture was. But she showed them.
Taylor is by far my favorite female rock vocalist these days. From her 60's rock influences to her range and the hard rock albums she puts out there, she is keeping rock alive while so many other her age have given up on it.
"House On A Hill" is another absolutely haunting song from The Pretty Reckless, one that has never really gotten much popular attention. But I can already see that it's listed a few other times in the comments, so there ya go. :)
Taylor kicks ass. You really need to examine the acoustic version of "Death by Rock and Roll". Her voice live sounds just like it does on the recording. Powerful and amazing!!!
10:00 I love that “skip to eight.” She’s very intentional about her consonants. She reproduces every little detail from the studio recording live. Her consistency suggests that she puts a lot of thought into delivery.
Taylor said it best about her voice, in the song "death by rock n roll"- 'this sickness in my throat'. That is just a perfect way to describe that raspy gritty voice. she is the future of rock N Roll, and the future sounds AWSOME!
I find it interesting how her eyes add to the emotional impact of the song. She never looks up, at the viewer, always keeping her eyes closed or looking down ever so slightly, and deprived of that personal connection from having her look at you, it increases the context of listening to someone's private pain pouring out than it would otherwise.
The best, most heart wrenching version was recorded live about 2 days after Chris' death. It's fan vid. So audio isn't perfect, but very good for what it is. However it's something very rare, a pure raw outpouring of grief and loss by a very talented artist. She had to pause several times to weep, but did an excellent job as she said "for Chris". Not only did she open for him that night, she waited for him after the show to thank him. She was one of the last people to see him alive. The next morning she found out he was dead.
@@fredbarnes2049 super late response, but I was already a fan of her and the band before hand but that was the moment where I was like. Yeah she is on a completely different level. Talent and emotional. Wise the love that she had for Chris and the inspiration she took from him was on full display with how emotional her performance was. That was her hero her role model.
The beauty in the simplicity of the unplugged version perfectly amplifies the pain in the lyrics. Taylor is such a powerhouse. Her control, her delivery, everything about this performance just has me in awe and rips my heart out. I'm gonna need a minute.
Soo happy to see Taylor get some love for her vocal ability. Those moments where she lets the ragged edge get out so precisely shows how fantastic her control is.
Landed here because 25 is my lucky number! Challenged myself, just an hour ago, to send a Happy-New-Year wish based on the first song called '25'. This immediately proves that 25 ís my lucky number! What an amazingly beautiful song this is!! I'm an instant fan hearing this. It has so many layers, it's melodic, dramatic, raw and sweet and só real!! Her being, her voice and singing😍. Goosebumps!!
Rarely do songs give me goosebumps throughout, but this unplugged version is arctic in it's shiver inducing sound. I just saw The Pretty Reckless live, too. She, and the rest of the band, are really great live, as well.
There is not a single bad song she's recorded. She's has an absolutely stellar voice backed with life experience, desire, passion and wisdom. I've seen and heard many very famous singers s and she is absolutely the finest female vocalist today in rock, and maybe in and genre. Her band compliments her voice with the music they make together and is equally powerful. The song you reviewed is a sifter touch in mostly hard rocking songs, but listen to Harley...it could easily be a country hit. Just choose anything she sings, as absolutely nothing disappoints and she's a complete breath of fresh air in a worn out industry. Wonderful review !
The joy on your face when Taylor hits the chorus is exactly how I felt when I heard this for the 1st time about a week ago. (late finding TPR, now hooked). Great analysis of the song, which makes it even more enjoyable
Love the Pretty Reckless, Taylor's voice is such a beauty to listen to! I think she is underestimated as Rock singer, because of her "pretty girl" actress image. Your face when she goes to grit and back again to soft is brilliant! My feelings exactly listing to this song!
Yes, please! "The In-Between" is a great intro song to this band. It's got clean and harsh sections, and the mix of styles actually _makes sense_ for the song.
@@alicequeenofmadness9995 I was introduced to them through Big Bad Wolf and I was so socked I couldn't make heads or tails of them. And they I saw them opening for Halestorm, sold my soul immediately and never looked back. Long story short, those are probably all better options than BBW, I support these motions.
You do the same thing with your eyes I do! Like you look at where the notes are placed and going. even when just thinking about it you seem to feel the bodily sensation that comes with the sound that you hear. It's sooo great to see someone experience music the way I do
I've commented it before, but have to say it again. I truly love your take on some of my favorite artists and the details of their style and enunciation. Plus, your true joy of music shows through in every one of these and I love it, it's so infectious and makes me love the music even more.
I've been into them since the beginning, even though i paused sometimes, they are one of few bands who i love all their songs and i feel this fourth album is their best one yet. if i had to choose second it would be going to hell album
Beautiful, mesmerizing - the first time I heard this song I thought, that is a Bond song every day of the week and twice on Sundays! It just has a Bond vibe to it...
Momsen has a unique voice in that while she sounds extremely soft she can be raspy and raspy at the same time. She can easily express a lot of feeling through her voice, her timbre, and her vocal technique. Certainly the most amazing singer that has emerged in the last decade and has become one of the best in rock n roll.
This is pain and anger and sadness coming out. I love it. The release of all of the emotions that we struggle with. It's beautiful, angry, sad and pissed off all together. It expresses the emotions that we as people have a hard time dealing with. It's amazing, beautiful and heartbreaking and a struggle all at the same time. A song I can truly say is a great release.
Holy moly this is such a great song! Her vocals match the composition so well. You’re so right about her specific annunciation, that takes some mad amounts of control.
I love watching you nerd out about songs like this. I’ve heard this song so many times and it still gives me chills. I’d love to see Taylor with Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee.
I gotta say seeing you're facial expression and excitement when you're excited is delightful. I absolutely love hearing your insights and I'm basically a musical novice.
Technically she did do a song with Lzzy Hale. In This Moment did a cover of We Will Rock You with both of them. All 3 of their voices are pretty unique in my opinion.
After you've delved into Taylor and The Pretty Reckless a bit further, please give Maria Brink and In This Moment a go. The raw emotion of 'The Fighter' always brings tears to my eyes 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
Adore Pretty Reckless. My favorite is 'Take Me Down', love the soul and style. And her voice is amazing, hard to believe how she started compared to now. Especially if you've seen the video to 'Way Down Below'.
Thank you for mentioning Take Me Down. The album "Who You Selling For" is often overlooked. The album proves The Pretty Reckless has the musical prowess to write and perform all genre's of music. It fascinated me how the sound of the album took qualities from classic rock, grunge, funk, soul, blues, and effortlessly still epitomized the Pretty Reckless trademark sound. Phenomenal album.
The Pretty Reckless are great. It's great to hear songs that tell a story and display emotion. They are a group that never just goes through the motions. Thanks for doing this song.
Hard to believe she's been my favorite singer for over a decade. Where does the time go? Very excited to see a breakdown Taylor's singing. Hope to see more in the future!
Have been listening to Taylor for quite some time now, and they have evolved into something truely great. Her vocals, writing and emotion that she has put into her music just makes it all the better. Hope you have the chance to experience her energy in person. And hopefully see you going through her other works as well. 'Only You' comes to mind, 'Absolution', the really short 'Burn' and 'Blame Me', just a short list of the many songs you can feel her rawness come through.
You cannot believe how happy I am that The Pretty Reckless gets a bit of attention they deserve. The Band and Taylor's voice are beautiful and creative in so many ways. My Heart just have done a triple backflip after I saw that you have done a reaction. And I'm very happy that you touched so many details of her style. Enjoy every Day. Mara
It's been said already but I'm joining the chorus of voices in two things here: 1. you should definitely listen to the studio version of this song for full effect. 2. Maria Brink (from the band In This Moment) MUST be on your lookout as one of the next voices to react to on the channel!
I was so glad to see you review this song. I was blown away the first time I heard it, and seeing your enthusiasm just brought back the goosebumps feeling of excitement all over again. Your enthusiasm is contageous!
Always amazing! So many great acoustic versions they’ve done that can be found on TH-cam. I love the version of Since You’ve Been Gone where it’s just her and Ben sitting on stools. Hit me Like A Man has an amazing version similarly performed. So many great songs and fantastic live band! Plus you can hear Taylor and Lzzy along with Maria Brink from In This Moment doing a cool cover of Queen’s We Will Rock You.
Sounds like it could've been a bond movietheme to me! As for her singing... it's a perfect blend of pretty (pristine) and reckless (gritty to the point where she sounds like she's recklessly ripping her vocal cords)...
i know i'm years late but it was apparently send in as a Bond theme, there even is the line of "Die another Day", in the end they chose Billie Eilish probably because she was the way bigger name. (All thing's i've heard, can't verify any of this myself obviously)
Near the end, you talk about the slide and dipthong on DIED but I really noticed the small cry at the beginning of HOPELESS which really helped push the narrative of the story for me, which is also right before the shattering glass pitch you noticed (which, again, pushed the narrative for me even more after you mentioned it). This song is a rollercoaster of emotion with how she sings it. And although I felt it before I never realized why until you mentioned some of the things you did. Wow... Even more blown away by this song. It's funny because I went down a rabbit hole of listening to this song and different versions and then thought that I would love for you to dissect this version and then, BOOM, there it was and I somehow missed the release of it 2 months ago. Thank you!
I remember hearing this song for the first time pretty recently and being stunned by the depth of her voice. I had only heard her grittier rock voice and was so impressed with this. They've become one of my favorite bands. You should check out the band Dorothy if you like them!
I'm not sure how and why, but the way you feel the song and the way you react to it made me tear up. Well, you, and the sheer emotional strength of the song. This is my first time on this channel and very certainly not my last. Loved the video.
I love how she goes into "Bond-theme mode" at 8:20 and at 8:50 sings: "to live, to let us die another day" (Bond movie right there), before delivering a verse like a flickering candle flame, similar to what Billie Eilish does at 2.15 into "No Time To Die".
Thank you for finally react to them, The Pretty Reckless is very underrated and deserves more attention. Other songs I recommend from them are Only Love Can Save Me Now, House on a Hill, Witches Burn and the list is endless 😅
Elizabeth, I simply loved your review! It's odd how some people can actually feel the music and I could see that this track really grabbed you. I understand why. It struck me the same way. I knew the backstory and you could really feel Taylor's pain embedded in every aspect of the song. I also loved your quirky facial expressions as you listened. For me, watching you review this song was almost as good as the first time I heard Taylor sing it. I'll be back for more. The power of music!
She does an in studio cover of Champaign Supernova that is simply beautiful. During the bridge she smoothly slides into Dear Prudence for a bit and then finishes off Champaign Supernova.
Never heard of this song until this video. Really impressive. Made me grab my guitar and sing myself, which is rare lately. So thanks for the inspiration!
Oh man, if she was friends with Chris, then I wonder if she knew Chester Bennington too since they were close. 2017 was not an easy year for that community.
One outstanding composition brilliantly performed unplugged. Terrific review Elizabeth, you always manage to pick up things that I take for granted. You make me listen far more not just to the song but how the message is delivered vocally.
Yes, was hoping for you to react to this. I'm more into prog-stuff instead of this type of rock, but Taylors voice caught me at once when i heard it and 25, especially this version, gives me the goosebumps. It's so raw and honest, and her voice is so powerful and emotional with a lot of depth and warmth. Really amazing. I always appreciate a good voice and Taylor is outstanding.
This song is a true masterpiece, a lot of music these days feels almost manufactured and loses that touch of feeling. This is not the case, you feel the full force of an emotional roller coaster. The walls are closing in - Hangman, is another great one. Really hits me.
I'm already a fan of The Pretty Reckless and Taylor, but this version (heard it hear first!) really brings me new respect and appreciation of her vocal prowess. Thanks for your always insightful commentary as well. I hope you continue to always "geek out" like this. Your reactions have so much feeling and heart.
I actually wonder if she would do a reaction to In This Moment since she's reacted to Lzzy and Taylor. The band has an awesome cover of We Will Rock You and it showcases each of their voices quite well. The band's lead singer, Maria Brink, also has some vocals and a beautiful range. I recommend Fighter, River of Fire, or Roots to start with but it's honestly all great.
This is the first time I watched your video. As an English learner, it is really interesting to hear your analysis on Taylor’s specificity in pronunciation and her choices in songwriting and singing. I generally just enjoy the musicality of the language and the lyrical meaning when I listen to English songs and normally wouldn’t pick up on those little details like you do (or take an extensive time to come to see). Oh, I love that you mention those consonants and vowels and diphthongs. And I also appreciate that you pre-researched well enough to help you understand the song but still left a space to analyse freely (if that makes sense). I love it when the lyrical meaning and the melody or the singing come together and support each other (that interwovenness you mentioned). I am sorry that I’m blabbering on, but thank you for sharing your analysis on one of my absolute favourite bands’ song and enjoying it. Under The Water is also a great song of theirs if you are interested. The studio version is as great as it is, but the live version of it is beyond description imo.
I was thinking after you reviewed Lzzy Hale a few times that Taylor Momsen should be next on the list! If you ever decide to do The Pretty Reckless again, I recommend "The Walls Are Closing In / Hangman". Super awesome section at the beginning with just piano and Taylor, as well as a cool bridge of all Latin lyrics. Showcases her voice really well and one of my faves from them. I'd also recommend "House On A Hill", which has a more acoustic feel to it and really places Taylor's voice in the forefront of the song.
I can never understand how everyone but me lumps TPR in with Halestorm and ITM... I truly hear no similarity. I can admit that Lzzy, solo, has a ton of talent and a powerful voice though TPR is more of a "original" hard rock sound (in most of their songs). Maybe it's a generational thing since I'm old as dirt and would compare TPR with Heart, Joan Jett, PJ Harvey and Lita Ford... maybe even Joplin.
Love how she expresses the emotions of the song, probably the acting talent coming in. When she does year, ten we're here again, I just feel it, and get a mental image.
She's awesome. Really need to get her albums. The effortless rasp and soft voice is always impressive. Very emotional end. Talking of soft and har-😨 Rasp! or Roar! Would love to know what you think of Big Bad Wolf by In This Moment.

In-Between or Fighter.

Her "like a stone" tribute to Chris Cornell is ammmmmaazing
The best, most heart wrenching version was recorded live about 2 days after Chris' death. It's fan vid. So audio isn't perfect, but very good for what it is. However it's something very rare, a pure raw outpouring of grief and loss by a very talented artist. She had to pause several times to weep, but did an excellent job as she said "for Chris". Not only did she open for him that night, she waited for him after the show to thank him. She was one of the last people to see him alive. The next morning she found out he was dead.
@@fredbarnes2049 do you have a link for the video?
100% got chills when you said it was unplugged, I absolutely love her and her voice!!!
"That. Is. Delightful." Loved your expression when you were hearing that part.
I just found you did a vocal analysis of her! I love it! I absolutely LOVE it when artists do stripped down versions.
Taylor is an absolute beast! One of the rare bands, where I prefer the acoustic versions, and there are a lot them.
This is one of my favorite reactions ever. So freaking good. I think the "trinity" must now be completed...
Let's do "In Between" by In This Moment
Yes, please! "The In-Between" is a great intro song to this band. It's got clean and harsh sections, and the mix of styles actually _makes sense_ for the song.
Can you do "Fighter" as well hits hard emotion.
Blood and Whore also
@@alicequeenofmadness9995 I was introduced to them through Big Bad Wolf and I was so socked I couldn't make heads or tails of them. And they I saw them opening for Halestorm, sold my soul immediately and never looked back. Long story short, those are probably all better options than BBW, I support these motions.
Only Love Can Save Me Now is another great one from this album.
I really wish she'd choose to front Soundgarden for just one last album 🙏
You do the same thing with your eyes I do! Like you look at where the notes are placed and going. even when just thinking about it you seem to feel the bodily sensation that comes with the sound that you hear. It's sooo great to see someone experience music the way I do
Taylor Momsen's voice always makes me so emotional. Thank you for doing this!
I've commented it before, but have to say it again. I truly love your take on some of my favorite artists and the details of their style and enunciation. Plus, your true joy of music shows through in every one of these and I love it, it's so infectious and makes me love the music even more.
Was so surpised with the new album. "Only love can save me now" is a taste back to grunge, a must watch. Very underrated band.
I absolutely agree, it is an amazing track to sing out loud. And the track “ And So It Went “ is so anthem worthy.
She can be raspy and raspy lol
This is pain and anger and sadness coming out. I love it. The release of all of the emotions that we struggle with. It's beautiful, angry, sad and pissed off all together. It expresses the emotions that we as people have a hard time dealing with. It's amazing, beautiful and heartbreaking and a struggle all at the same time. A song I can truly say is a great release.
Holy moly this is such a great song! Her vocals match the composition so well. You’re so right about her specific annunciation, that takes some mad amounts of control.
I love the way you listen to a song, and even more the way you are clearly affected by them. Thank you for all you do!!!!
I love watching you nerd out about songs like this. I’ve heard this song so many times and it still gives me chills. I’d love to see Taylor with Lzzy Hale and Amy Lee.
Absolutely!! What a great collab that would be!
I gotta say seeing you're facial expression and excitement when you're excited is delightful. I absolutely love hearing your insights and I'm basically a musical novice.
Nice! Been a fan of The Pretty Reckless for quite awhile!! Awesome to see Elizabeth checking them out!
Thank you very much for letting me know her.. this is the first time I'm hearing of her and damn she's amazing
I so agree there :)
Different but the perfect blend for the song :) \m/
Great choice in picking this performance . I love the pretty Reckless
Adore Pretty Reckless. My favorite is 'Take Me Down', love the soul and style. And her voice is amazing, hard to believe how she started compared to now. Especially if you've seen the video to 'Way Down Below'.
Take me Down is the first Pretty Reckless song I've heard, and still my favorite too 😁
Thank you for mentioning Take Me Down.
I haven’t heard any of her music since the 2014! She has really grown her voice, it’s even better!!!
death by rocknroll was my intro had not heard any before that perhaps they got a new better promoter
'Only You' comes to mind, 'Absolution', the really short 'Burn' and 'Blame Me', just a short list of the many songs you can feel her rawness come through.
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.
so happy you are finally doing her, AND unplugged. she has such amazing qualities in her voice. LOVE HER.
She’s quickly becoming my favorite female singer.
Nop
You cannot believe how happy I am that The Pretty Reckless gets a bit of attention they deserve. The Band and Taylor's voice are beautiful and creative in so many ways.
My Heart just have done a triple backflip after I saw that you have done a reaction.
And I'm very happy that you touched so many details of her style.
Enjoy every Day.
Mara
Taylor has a unique voice, it's raw and emotional and amazing!
Taylor Mumson is the Queen of ROCK.
It's been said already but I'm joining the chorus of voices in two things here:
1. you should definitely listen to the studio version of this song for full effect.
This will always feel to me like a song that should be at the opening credits of a James Bond film. Fantastic vocals
Sounds like it could've been a bond movietheme to me!
As for her singing... it's a perfect blend of pretty (pristine) and reckless (gritty to the point where she sounds like she's recklessly ripping her vocal cords)...
Tons of "Skyfall" vibes, specially around minute 07.
This absolutely sounds like an audition to write a future Bond theme. Strong Skyfall vibes, and some The World Is Not Enough vibes too.
i know i'm years late but it was apparently send in as a Bond theme, there even is the line of "Die another Day", in the end they chose Billie Eilish probably because she was the way bigger name.
Her voice is so soulful and emotional on this song it brings me to tears.
"Take Me Down", from their "Who You Selling For" album, is probably my favorite song from their past albums.
Oh, I love The Pretty Reckless, more please!!
Thank you for finally react to them, The Pretty Reckless is very underrated and deserves more attention. Other songs I recommend from them are Only Love Can Save Me Now, House on a Hill, Witches Burn and the list is endless 😅
I'm so glad you did this song! I was just singing away to it and thinking I hope you do a video on this, and it appeared on my feed! Thank you! Xx
"Only love can save me now" is a must to review. And of course "Heaven Knows"
Thank you so much for finally investigating Taylor's voice. I always thought awesome.
For some reason, I get serious James Bond theme song vibes from this. Such an amazing song, thank you for introducing it to me.
I saw a lot of people wondering if this was their attempt to be the official song for No Time to Die (which is the 25th bond movie)
That was bloody amazing, Taylors voice is so powerful :P
Wow, I love that I'm finding artist like her through your channel!! Beautifull song, such an emotional story
She does an in studio cover of Champaign Supernova that is simply beautiful. During the bridge she smoothly slides into Dear Prudence for a bit and then finishes off Champaign Supernova.
I forgot about this cover. Thank you for the reminder-it’s amazing.
Never heard of this song until this video. Really impressive. Made me grab my guitar and sing myself, which is rare lately. So thanks for the inspiration!
House on a Hill is one of my favorites by The Pretty Reckless.
This song always makes me so emotional, this came out shortly before I turned 25 and I can relate to this song closely.
"Like A Stone" by Taylor in honor of Chris Cornell is wonderful and sad. She was on tour with him and I think one of the last to see him alive.
And she sang it just two days after Chris died. Heartbreaking
Don't make me start crying just thinking about it.
You make me listen far more not just to the song but how the message is delivered vocally.
her acoustic version of hit me like a man is amazing.
I have never heard of her. But, she has a very good voice. I really enjoyed listening to her.
This is a band that I just started listening to and I'm really liking what their doing, like her voice, this thumbnail is a little bit better 😆
Maria Brink is seriously under-rated
River of Fire gets me pumped every time. Black Wedding is a fun one, too.
I think Elizabeth would be FASCINATED by Maria’s vocals, especially after this reaction to Taylor.
Finally Taylor Momsen!!! I love her voice. I’m waiting for the reaction of Halestorm’s Break In ft. Amy Lee
I love how Taylor gives her all weather being backed by a piano, acoustic guitar, TPR or Soundgarden.
My favorite female vocalist, can’t get enough!
On another note, I'm just gonna hope that In This Moment reaction isn't that far either ya know?
@@asinoralte2881 Hell yeah, an In This Moment reaction would be absolutely awesome!
I remember being amazed how they woven a heartbeat all through the House On A Hill (especially when I listened to it using a good headset)
House on a Hill, yesss, please 😍
Talking of soft and har-😨 Rasp! or Roar! Would love to know what you think of Big Bad Wolf by In This Moment.
awesome, and here I wanted to suggest Taylor under your next video, and here it is!
Taylor Momsen is fantastic. You can feel the emotion in her voice. Oh yeah, Howard Jones - Killswitch engage, you should definitely analyze his voice.
