    great information, so thank you! I'm newer to GoPro and wish you could create your own camera modes like Cinematic FPV but don't see that option in the QR Controls app. Do you happen to have a QR code for this that is supported on GP11?

    Hi Michael ! How do you import your video without "downscale" it to 4K ? With gyroflow you can only choose this option

  • @alitchaidir

    you don't have problems with stabilization when using an nd filter?

    The only issue is that when you keep your shutter speed at 1/50 and you stableize in post, the footage can look a bit jittery

  • @MikeLetting
    @MikeLetting ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great video !
    Are the stabilizing programs dependent on the shutter speed / fps ratios or they only need the gyro data and no difference if you use 25fps/100 shutter or 25fps/50 shutter and etc ?
    Saw somewhere it's best to use at least 4 times the shutter when choosing the fps but also seeing other contrary examples.

      @jonathan6351 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      little late, so idk if you still need to know, but stabilization programs work better when there is less motion blur, so 25fps/100ss sometimes is the better option. You get less jitters into your footage, at least that's my experience, I'll sometimes use that in very bright conditions and the motion blur is imo still pretty good.

    • @PNWVISUALFILMS
      @PNWVISUALFILMS 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jonathan6351you mean instead of 25fps to 50 SS - you do 25fps to 100ss to get smoother footage?
      I use gopro player reel steady with double the SS and it comes out shaky now and then

    • @jonathan6351
      @jonathan6351 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PNWVISUALFILMS I mean it's not a perfect formula for sure. Having your quad tuned also helps a lot in getting those jitters out, but if you get better results with 25fps and ss 1/50, go for it. It's definitely not wrong. I switch between them depending on the lighting and I get good results most of the time.

    and for cinematic car chasing is the same? or i have to increase fps or high shutter? thanks for any advice

    Hey Mate, do you turn off the wifi when flying using gpro 11? Just wondering.

  • @ericgangob6030

    Would you happen to know why I can't stabilize my footage on reelsteady? I am able to stabalize just fine on 4:3 but with the new feature 8:7 I cannot. My settings are as follows:
    5K, 8:7, 30fps, 1/60, hypersmooth off, wide angle, etc.

  • @fabs_knlx
    @fabs_knlx ปีที่แล้ว

    why dont u use 60 fps? Is it because of less light? I love how smooth it looks but i've seen it a few times now that people recommend 25 or 30 fps

  • @mertboii3
    @mertboii3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    have you tried medium sharpness ?

    • @MichaelHoughton_
      @MichaelHoughton_  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea that’s fine too to be honest! With the old copies I’d use that I think. New ones have more room to fix stuff

  • @aommaomm3310
    @aommaomm3310 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Bro if we’re gonna fixed the iso and ss , so how we gonna metering the light(just look at the screen right?)

    • @MichaelHoughton_
      @MichaelHoughton_  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah look at the screen and use ND filters to bring down the exposure. You can also use 1/100 shutter too but ND filters are also a good addition

      @@MichaelHoughton_ thx bro🙏🏻 and so if we record it in flat color profile should we overexposure it a little bit like what we do it in videography(log)

    • @MichaelHoughton_
      @MichaelHoughton_  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@aommaomm3310 I personally dont do that. Thats because I don't think the FLAT color of gopro is actually like LOG to be hinest I think its just desatruated and lower contrast rather then all the other stuff that is baked into LOG

    Have you also tried shooting at 24fps for fpv? Because this would even be more "cinematic" :D
    Or do you decide it based on the footage you gonna match it with later?

      He does 25... the difference is in your region... Europe vs America 25 or 24 frames... same as 50 vs 60.. its for the lights in your video.
