@@StephenMcGillUK I am using the SmallRig mount. It's okay, but there are also other options that may interfere less with the GPS.

Great video. I'll watch it a few more times to make sure I caught everything. Did you explain how to attach the GoPro in a previous video? Also, would the GoPro Hero 9 be too big?
I am using the small rig mount and the hero 9 does work too though it is slightly bigger and heavier so I would expect it to influence battery life slightly.

excellent channel friend, I follow you! Let me ask you a question. In the videos that you use the dji fpv you always use go pro, right? And how do you get the shots from above vertically to the ground? with the dji fpv camera? or are those shots with another drone? Thank you

What’s the mount you used for GoPro to drone?
What FPS and shutter do you recommend for the GoPro settings when mounted on the FPV?
I went with 1/50th at 24fps to get that motionblur
Great video man! You’re making me regret getting the Air2S! But it’s my first drone so I should probably get used to flying normally first, right? Also, do you get motion sickness from flying fpv? I’m afraid I would throw up
Thanks Ben. Yeah I would say starting out with a standard drone is the best way in. Especially when it comes to filmmaking. The simulator certainly gave me headaches in the beginning and flying I reckon could get to you if you are prone to motion sickness.

I've been flying standard fpv drones for 3 years now and now I got the DJI FPV. I've strong vibration issues whenever i put a GoPro on it, I tried many different mounts, mostly TPU but also PLA. Did you have any problems like that, if so, how did you solve it? The last thing I wanna try is actually the SmallRig mount, how happy are you with that one?
GoPro 8 + SmallRig mount doesn't give me vibration issues, but it blocks the GPS signal at times which also stinks because it could mean that the app doesn't let you take off.

What nd filter system are you using with your Komodo ? At minute 4 I saw the Tokina 11-20 and what appears to be a set of Nd filters behind it . Are those the breakthrough ND filter or something else ?
Yup, those are the breakthrough filters :) I have a what’s in my backpack video coming soon. Hope that’s gonna be interesting :)

what is the best camera angle?
Depends on the speed. I usually net out at 20-25% and align the GoPro accordingly
Is it because it's easier to fly that you use DJI+GoPro rather than classic FPV+Go Pro ?
Yeah, the DJI fpv has some nice ‘beginner’ safety features that give you more comfort. Now I would possibly try to fly a classic fpv

Do you still fly the DJI FPV in 2024? or you already evolved and now use a real quad? Please be honest and share your flight experience with the GoPro on top? Does it really flies ok? Or the DJI FPV struggles with that weight?
Yep still flying the DJI fpv and with a GoPro mini. Not really noticeable. heavier action cams may cause issues but you will hear it when you are in hover mode.
