On my third amFilm Ultra UV Gel Screen Protector for my Galaxy S20 in 3 years. It's not Am Film's fault, the product is excellent, it's just the brutal workplace the phone is subjected to. The phone (also with a Spigen Liquid Air Armor case) is subjected to knocks, drops, in thigh pocket while its user is on his side bending, crawling or on the floor working, never mind the metal dust from grinding and cutting too! The fact that it last around a year is a miracle. I consider the costs is quite acceptable in my case.
The installation is straightforward and relatively easy if you watch the instructions a couple of times to avoid missing steps and mistakes, especially the dust removal and make sure none has appeared just before you pour the glue. From my personal experience, I always wear a face mask to avoid disturbing dust in the air or else when peering closely at the phone in the installation tray.

I love it i had it on for a month now and I haven't had any problems.
Just finished installing this on my Galaxy S20 Ultra. Installation was easy. I bought a total of 4 to install on everyone's phone in the household, however, i tried it on my phone first to test it out. I have to say the instructions were easy to follow, the gel was a bit messy to clean up at the end, but nothing that rubbing alcohol and a paper towel couldn't take of. I can say that it's case friendly and allows my phone to fit in my ArmodilloTek case. The screen is very clear, no bubbles, and the peace of mind that this expensive phone is protected with more than the film the phone came with is a major plus. I highly recommend this, it comes with a lifetime warranty, I'm very satisfied with this screen protector.
Did you remove the film from the phones prior to applying?

Unlike a competing glass protector for the S10+, this one actually allows the fingerprint sensor to work. This is an excellent product. I followed this video and the results are perfect. I'm glad I found this.

It's really easy to install just make sure you follow the steps correctly and clean your phone properly. I didn't even have to reset my fingerprints it worked fine straight after the installation. Can definitely recommend it for the s10+

So far, this seems to be working nicely. It was easy to install using this how-to, though there was a little sticky tacky stuff that scraped off just fine. I would order this again simply because of the warranty.
It took 16min for the adhesive to fully cover the whole screen.. 😅 uff ...it was close... at the end I did two rounds of the 60sg and well done!
It's a great screen protector. I work an outside job with high temps and has not torn or come off due to high temps and water unlike my last protector.
How has it held up now? No issues with phone cases?

How is the protector holding up?
@@ramblinman7153 literally just pulled it off yesterday because I got a new case, the samsung flip case, it broke the protector... It was working great until a week ago with the new case though
Product itself is good. the only issue i had was there was some sort of foreign object in the adhesive tube itself. I shouldve grabbed a needle and fished it out quick, it just made me nervous that i would mess up the process worse. So no bubbles, nice screen, but theres one annoying speck on my screen now lol.

Does this work with a otterbox?
I have a micro scratch its not noticeable at a glace I have to look for it will it show through the protector
I followed along with this video while putting my screen protector on and I have a bubble in the middle of the screen! I don't want to use the other protector but I'm so disappointed that it has bubbles
Have the bubbles gone away? I just got mine and did the installation and have bubbles and I'm hoping that they go away!
i just installed my amFilm screen protector flawlessly with this video and i didnt have to redo my finger prints, i am ecstatic
i dropped my phone more than a 100 times and it did a good job protecting my phone
Tips for you guys if you install the film and when it creates a bubble don't panic. Just push the bubble gently to the side with the metal.

I bought this screen protector recently and installed it on my phone. The installation process is quite easy and straight forward. However, I ended up removing it and returning the product for a full refund because I always wear polarized sunglasses and for some reason my phone screen becomes really dark and not bright enough to be able to use the phone during the day! I am not sure if this was the case with the ones sent to me or all of them. So keep that in mind that you might experience this issue with yours too and always buy them where there is return/refund option. Also the levelling pad was missing in the box. I hope they fix these issues as it was quite disappointing for a screen protector at this price.

Is this screen protector for the S10 Plus case friendly.
I just did it for my S10 with the Samsung cover case and it fits well.
how do you remove it?

No. Just pill off the screen protector very slowly if you want to save the glass.
If the screen protector cracked and you want to replace it, use your fingernail or a thin razor blade and GENTLY AND SLOWLY pry it off from your phone screen at any corner. it will just comes off. The UV glue sticks to the glass screen protector, leaving your phone pristine clean.
Does this screen protector work with cases
It does, it's a case friendly protector.
I let the adhesive spread for 20 minutes and didn't notice until I removed the tray that the curved edges at the bottom of the screen were not in contact with the screen protector. Very annoying.
Any advice for when it oozes out and gets on the rest of the phone?

Since this uses an adhesive is it considered permanent? What if I need to replace it?
Thank you for your question. The cured gel adhesive will only get thickened, not hardened. To remove a screen protector, just gently lift it at one of the corners with your fingernail; it would be easier to peel it off in one piece, just like a transitional glass screen protector. No need to worry. If the screen protector cracked and you want to replace it, use your fingernail or a thin razor blade and GENTLY AND SLOWLY pry it off from your phone screen at any corner. it will just comes off. The UV glue sticks to the glass screen protector, leaving your phone pristine clean. Its always tempted me to keep seeing and using the flawless screen, but I know better. Scratches and cracks will inevitably happen. Better that happens to the screen protector. I had at least 8 different glass protectors on 4 different phones, and until I retire them, the original screens were still perfect. Sigh! You can't really have perfection and protection....yet.
Either I got a bad tray or the speaker cover design is just poor. If you notice that the sticker they provide refuses to remain stuck to the speaker you'll have to make a custom piece of tape to cover it.
How do you take it off?

I just got this product, followed the guide 100% and while at first glance with the screen off it was perfect, as soon as I turned on the phone I noticed that near the fingerprint scanner there is a weird perfectly smooth edged discoloration and both the left and right edges of the screen protector look like they're covered in grease (that rainbow, dot pattern residue look) and I cleaned the screen twice just to make sure it was clean. It looks awful.

Is the protector actual glass and is there a hole cut out in the protector for the camera

got some glue on the speaker but idk why. oh well. hopefully worth it
I know why. It's because the sticker that's supposed to cover the speaker actually hovers over it. I tried the second sticker, being ultra careful, and had the same issue. Press it down and it pops right back up. It appears to be a problem with the slot location in the tray. It's too low so the area right above the speaker is pressed down and will pry up the part that's supposed to cover the speaker. Thankfully I noticed this early and covered the speaker with a surgically cut piece of duct tape.
If you are really careful, use a needle and pry the excess glue off the thin speaker slot. BE CAREFULL NOT TO INSERT YOUR NEEDLE INTO THE SLOT, to avoid damaging the speakers' internals. It worked for me.

My package was missing the "levelling pads" and I got a two foam pads instead.. I'm contacting support now, but I'm not sure if I should continue.

I ended up using the two foam pad at both sides of the phone (instead of just at one side as per the video) to get it level because I think the foam pads are too think to use at just once end. The package contents seems to have two of most things for use with a second phone / second application - however, I have now used two pads and have no more spare. It'd be nice to have the video updated to show how the foam pads are intended for use.

I used this "new" levelling pads instead of the used to be clear acrylic plastic pads of the last packs. They work fine. Their main purpose is to make you phone level and steady on the desk, raising it off the camera bump, and make the installation frame to fully fit down onto the phone without hitting the desk. Put 1 just under the camera bump, another near the bottom of the phone, and off you go.
The latest frames (I got mine in July 2020) are made from a different type of plastic that will NOT allow the screen to fit well and slowly come down on the glue when the orange flap is pulled out. Typical Chinese quality (bad) made well in the first place to catch market place then cut corners to save a dime with the subsequent products. I send it back and asked for a refund as it was a waste of time. Buy from Amazon to ensure a full refund.
The finger print security does not work well. You have to extremely press down on your phone in order to unlock it. I am returning my product because of this.
i realize its a month later but did you bother to turn on the high sensitivity and redo your fingerprints?

The holder broke automatically and now the liquid is in my speaker.. its a crap product..
NOT case friendly... Followed steps and it was flawless, until I put the case on, it caused bubbles on the corners and now completely useless!
