    Just use a hairdryer on low to heat up the adhesive, comes right off without having to shatter the screen or have it crack. Ive used this method everytime and never had a problem

  • @jon9550
    @jon9550 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    This process works better if you cure the top & bottom for 15 seconds, and then press down firmly on the fingerprint scanner while you UV the top for 60 seconds and then the bottom (with your thumb still pressing down) for 60 seconds. After you've done that take your thumb away and UV the bottom for another 60 seconds.
    This will help make the layer of adhesive at the fingerprint scanner as thin as possible so the scanner is as accurate as it can be.
    The amFilm UV Glass kit comes with a small weight to out over the fingerprint scanner for just this reason.

    Why crack a $60 protector when you can slide playing card under and remove without cracking, clean and reuse... Also you should leave the glue in the bridge longer as there's always 3 or 4 extra drops that come out. And I cure mine for about 20 minutes under uv light, if not they always lift or spider web underneath 👌👌

    Here is a tip for those of you having problem with the fingerprint sensor, register using your finger "TIP", not the entire let's say your thumb, the pressure doesn't make any difference, but more of the movement of the surface of the skin when you press your finger on the screen. There is an extra layer with the dome glass so using only the tip of your finger will give more stability & smaller area for the ultrasonic scanner to read.
    * i didn't press the sensor during the curing process, and it's working just fine

      Make sure you do the middle of you're finger first then when it shows you to do the tips do it. Also if you notice you can add more than one finger print. Add the same finger like 3 times it will be more accurate. It does work. I got frustrated at first but it was the way I was doing it. Make sure when you do it to watch the little finger print sign it will show you how to do it. Do the middle of you're thumb first then last 20% do eack side and tip.

      Not when the phone is dropped on the glass or scratched by sand-like particles... The screenprotector will always break/scratch first and it's way cheaper than getting a new screen and losing water resistance in the procecess ;)
